Google says that they really don't care if the content is on a subdomain or subfolder & this is debated. I find that they both can rank well, but subdomains require more effort to maintain. As long as the subdomain is on a good host, has good ux/content and links well w/the parent, I wouldn't worry that much and I would leave as is. Good luck.

RE: Will canonical solve this?
Yes, and make sure to do a self-referencing canonical to the generic page as well.

RE: Should I use an acronym in my URL?
IMHO, whatever the prospect is more likely to query use that in your url since it will be highlighted. I would probably not group them together as it makes the url a bit more difficult to read (so options 1 and 2 will work). Furthermore, whatever you chose I would put in the meta description "Human Capital Management (HCM)..." in case the prospect choose one or the other and include both variations on the landing page.

RE: Reasonable Time to Code Pop Up Forms in Wordpress?
9 hours seems reasonable for implementation and testing of this. There is a bit of logic/validation involved as well, and setting this up is definitely more involved than implementing a plugin and walking away.

RE: When creating a sub-domain, does that sub-domain automatically start with the DA of the main domain?
**Also, although I would also be curious to know if a subdomain inherits DA from the main domain, it probably doesn't need to be a part of the decision making process for choosing between subdomain and subfolder. **
I know that the sub & parent share the same DA. I was under the impression that one doesn't necessarily inherit the other DA, just an accumulation of the "strength" calculated by Moz of the domain shared between the parent & subs.

RE: Problems with Meta Title on Bing
Yes, and it's fairly common. Each of the search engine may or many not use your meta title. If the search engine deemed that another title (derived from the laning page) will match the user's intent better, they may switch it. Since Google & Bing have different algo's, this happens. For more info see How Does Bing Choose The Title For My Web Page.

RE: Nofollow links to own website pages
I agree totally with Chris and according to Matt Cutts:
"So if it’s a link from one page on your site to another page on your site, you want that featuring to flow, you want Googlebot to be able to find that page," Cutts continued. "So almost every link within your site, that is a link going from one page on your site to another page on your site, I would make sure the PageRank does flow which would mean leaving off the nofollow."
So, just use no-follow for links to websites you don't trust.

RE: Do I have to optimize every page on my site?
There are many ways to optimize gallery pages (optimize H tags, optimizing file size of images, adding short descriptions, good page titles, implementing proper tags on the image, good ux and so on). There is an excellent tutorial here. Good luck!

RE: SEO Client not rankings in Google
You are definitely in Google SERPS (as Christy noted). However, you have duplicate content. For example, I grabbed a snippet: "Our Pet Loss Library features articles written by grief professionals that will address many of the questions you may have when dealing with the loss of a" and many sites came up for this.
My suggestion is to rewrite all duplicate content. This will help with bringing in more organic traffic and ranking.
Good luck!

RE: Max-snippet max length
For Google, typically between 920 and 923 pixels (or roughly 160 characters). However, this does change periodically.

RE: How to fix thin content issue?
Do you see the content when view source (content isn't hidden -- for example in iframe)?

RE: Meta-description not used at all times
To expand on what Ryan was saying, your query was for "bangerhead" & your meta descriptions states:
So in this case, since your query was not in your meta description, Google typically will pull a snippet containing that keyword:
**Bangerhead **Professional Fresh Me Up! (200ml) · **Bangerhead **Professional Fresh Me... Moroccanoil Treatment (50 ml) · RefectoCil Frans- & Ögonbrynsfärg.

RE: Schema training/resources for local SEO?
Along with what Tim said, I typically search on youtube.com or look on Lynda for a video. The only one I found on Lynda is SEO for Local Visibility. One section does get into schema. Good luck!

RE: Dropdown content on page being crawled
It depends. If the drop down uses ajax or related technology, it may be difficult for the spider to parse and may not be indexed. In most cases, yes it will be indexed. I guess we need to understand how the click has been implemented.

RE: Generating Dynamic Meta Titles for SEO - Advice?
As Andy said, yes it's possible and many people are doing it (dynamic/static doesn't matter). I would use the generic Product | Supplier title template and keep it within the acceptable length. These title can get long very fast, so have a good logic and look at some of the competitors and see how their titles are structured. Good luck!

RE: How many redirects are too many?
A couple will be fine. Anything more than that may be problematic. In 2011, Matt Cutts stated anything more than five and Googlebot will not follow it.

RE: What is PA and DA in SEO and how to improve it?
Ed had a great answer. Make sure you have compelling, original content that is optimized for a potential query. Try to make it so valuable that people will want to link to it. Focus on good internal linking to these pages and make sure that your site is responsive and fast. If you can accomplish this, you will see increases in PA/DA. Good luck!

RE: HomePage Stopped Ranking For Brand on Aged Site
I did a Google search and found the homepage listed. Strange as I checked if you were logged in and displaying something becuase of personalized results. So not sure

RE: 301 and the base URL
If you are moving to another domain, the key is to do 301 redirects to the page that closely resembles the original. If none exists, you should 404. The page title should be the same or close to the same as the original (as long as you use best practices --see guides on Moz). Same goes for the meta description (although not directly a ranking factor). The url is extremely important and should be focus on what is on the page (Moz URL guide).

RE: Sitemap into SE
Those are called sitelinks and you can read more here. If you have a clean site architecture (intuitive and logical) and the results are relevant to a visitor's query, they may be shown. Google also suggests to "make sure you use anchor text and
alttext that's informative, compact, and avoids repetition."
