Why not have just one site, with a page/folder for each city, and all of the strength can go into that one site? Also saves you from having to maintain over fifty sites each time there's a software update, or something needs to be changed.

Wordpress shortcode or plugin for current time
In the footer of my WP site at http://www.strikemodels.com/, I have
"Questions? Call us at xxx-xxx-xxxx 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Pacific time or email [address]"
I've searched, but haven't easily found a shortcode where I can insert the current time for my time zone in this footer statement. Does anyone know if such a thing exists?
The Do Not Disturb function on the iPhone has been a big help, but we've still had calls at three in the morning from someone in Australia on New Year's Day who didn't know how to look up time differences online.

RE: Matt Cutts - Guest posts are dead comment
I certainly haven't seen a dip in submissions to YouMoz!

RE: Meta description not showing as per view source on Google results
Often times, Google views the meta description as more of a suggestion than a command. They'll show a different snippet depending on your search query, and there's really nothing you can do about it. Same for the title tag, they'll even change what shows in the SERPs for huge companies like Apple.

RE: How can I easily give access to a freelancer?
Right now, there is not a way to have multiple users to the same Moz account, though that is in development.
One thing you could do is ask the freelancer what reports they would like to see, then run those reports, download them, and email them. They could also take a free trial and be able to set up a campaign for your site and see most of the same data (they just won't have historical data).

RE: Mozscape Index Delayed? Why?
Hi Nancys,
I'm talking with the engineering team to get a good answer for this. I know it's an unexpected delay, and on this end we're also frustrated that we weren't able to get one out in the normal four-week interval. I'll update this thread when I have more information.

RE: Is this traffic drop do to cutting backlinks or Penguin 2.0 (Graphs attached)
Locking the question and directing people back to the earlier posts.

RE: Giving access to a new user
Unfortunately, we still don't have an ETA for that. It's a bit more complex than we initially envisioned, though we know it's a feature request that a lot of people want, and we'll all be glad when it's ready.

RE: Have you heard of any white hat methods for influencing Google's auto suggest/auto complete?
It's also against the Terms of Use of Mechanical Turk HITS. https://www.mturk.com/mturk/help?helpPage=policies (I've edited the list to include those most applicable to this situation)
<a name="#restrictions_use_mturk"></a>Are there restrictions or prohibited uses of Amazon Mechanical Turk?
You may not use Amazon Mechanical Turk for illegal or objectionable activities. Here are some examples of prohibited activities:
- spamming
- impermissible advertising or marketing activities
<a name="#violation_examples"></a>What are some specific examples of HITs that violate Amazon Mechanical Turk policies?
- HITs that directly or indirectly promote a site, service, or opinion
- HITs that violate the terms and conditions of an activity or website (for instance asking Workers to vote for something)
- HITs that generate "referred" site visits or click-through traffic
- HITs that ask Workers to take action to manipulate a website's behavior or results

RE: Since January 24 Open Site Explorer has not provided new data
Hi! We should have a release this Friday.

RE: Monthly report
Oh no! Can you send us an email at help@moz.com so we can look into that? Thanks!

RE: Social media connection issues with Facebook
It'll be best (and fastest) to use help@moz and make it official. Thanks!

RE: How to get facebook likes, for a business that no one would like?
I'd look around at other Facebook pages for the same type of business. Here are a couple to get you started:
https://www.facebook.com/ulrichbarns
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Barn-Builders-Inc/111190548893280
https://www.facebook.com/artisanbarnsYou could use it as a place to showcase your recent projects, and help answer questions people may have. How does someone choose the right sized barn? What are the permits like in various areas of Colorado? What are some money-saving tips for keeping the barn warm in winter? Probably a lot of the same things you talk about on your website, but this also gives you a chance to interact with people. If you want to ask questions, I'd lean more towards things like memories of your favorite barn as a kid, what would your dream barn look like, which would you prefer -- a garage or a barn, etc.

RE: Our Website Get too many visits from this IP ?
There are sites that Google visits way more often than that. For example, you'll see Q&A questions on Moz indexed within minutes.

On the surface at least, it looks like it's from Google. http://www.iplookup.ca/66.249.85.8

RE: 90% Traffic Drop...
Was there any work done to the site on that date? Could GA code have not been put on some of the pages? Could there have been duplicate codes that had been inflating the numbers that were removed? Do you have access to awstats or some other form of server log files to check for a corresponding drop there? Have your leads and sales changed?
Just want to narrow down that we are looking at a traffic drop and not a reporting issue.

RE: Text in my site is too little, what I can do to enhance the ranking?!
Hi Jim,
I'd suggest writing about each model. Not everyone can easily look at a floor plan and see what's neat about it. Is the house great for multiple generations because it has a mother-in-law apartment? Good for aging in place because there's a downstairs suite and accessibility features incorporate throughout? If this is for a builder, does the builder offer options such as turning that fourth bedroom into a library or home office? If there's a home office with a separate entrance for clients, point that out. Talk about how wonderful the kitchen is, etc.

RE: Since January 24 Open Site Explorer has not provided new data
Hi Lawrence,
We try to update OSE 1-3 times a month (we aim for a minimum of once a month, and are often able to get more frequent releases out). There was supposed to be a release yesterday, but we had issues with that index. We should have an index released in the next week, and the next one a couple of weeks after that. We really do apologize for the delay, and thank you for your patience.

RE: SEO Question
This is one flaw of OSE, that domains like wordpress.com, blogger.com, weebly.com, etc. have high domain authority that don't necessarily have any influence on the subdomain in the eyes of the search engines.
Also in OSE, make sure that you're only looking at links to the subdomain, not to the root domain (which would be all of weebly.com).
