Why review your products on Squidoo and give the content to a different site that can rank above you? Why not instead make YOUR site the one with the strong content?

Google is quite aware that links from a place like Squidoo aren't exactly natural and are often set up for situations like this.

It is fairly difficult to discuss when we don't have any information to discuss. What was you ranking before? How quickly did it move? What did you do?

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion. We've found that people use private Q&A for asking questions they don't want public, but also when they want to make sure they get an answer (an answer is not guaranteed in public Q&A). We actually do see identical questions in public and private Q&A from the same person, as they seek an answer from an SEOmoz associate. When SEOmoz associates have more time to devote to public Q&A, they'll be able to answer more questions, and endorse and clarify existing answers.

We are looking at adjusting which questions are indexed in public Q&A, but it would be along the lines of only questions that are marked a "good answer" by the original poster or have an answer endorsed by staff would be in the index. This would help make sure that people coming in from a search engine would see just questions that have good answers. I will pass your suggestion along to the team to see if there's a way that could be TAGFEE for us.

Hi! The answer to this is to wait a little bit until the next linkscape update is out, and Open Site Explorer updates with fresh information. The last crawl was done before your site existed, which is why nothing is shown. Linkscape and Open Site Explorer don't have quite the same computing power of Google, so they lag behind a bit.

You present some interesting figures. You do say that "even though this may not be correct, but has worked for me." -- does this mean that the following percentages are things you have based off of you own testing, or do you have some references you could give that would help back this up?

I think thread this is getting a little beyond the scope of the announcement. Let's discuss the announcement, but not get into personal discussions here.

Also, I think there is an autocorrect program that isn't working quite right and is substituting words. You may want to do a little extra proofreading, and possibly edit the message (I believe you meant "your name" instead of "here name", for example) to make sure that it's clear.

I do see on this page https://www.blogmutt.com/pages/customer there is a How It Works with the following:

1. We write a blog post on the suggested topic using the ideal number of keywords.
2. You post the content to your blog.
3. Your site's SEO improves.
4. Through your blog, you will engage new customers.

Could it be that they feel this is a guarantee that you can't back? I'm not saying anything against you or your company here, but just trying to see where Google might find an issue with things. I think I found it. I'm seeing multiple meta robots entries on pages, including meta name='robots' content='noindex,nofollow'. I don't think you mean this to be intentional? Found it on these two random pages, and I'm betting lots of others.

A caution that for at least some of the sites listed by topseos.com the sites included in the ratings need to pay to be in that list.

We have considered this. While I don't believe we have any type of solution in place right now, we have plans for a better solution in the future.

Actually, a DDOS attack took Zendesk down today, it wasn't us.

It's that place that doesn't give you Mozpoints for participation and makes you write in 140 characters.
