Our info is already in the footer of the site.

Our Local Listing is updated.

So we have a problem. There is another business with the same name as ours showing up on Google Local/ Google maps when I type in our business name in Google. Our name is Brighton College, and the other business is Brighton College, however they are from the UK. They are showing up on the right hand side with their wikipedia page and on Google Maps and we aren't, but I'm searching in Canada on Google.ca across the street from our college. Any idea on how to fix this?

I was recently approached by the Vancouver Sun and the Province (our major newspapers in BC), and they said they had an "exclusive partnership" with Yahoo. I can't seem to find much information on it... what is the "Yahoo Newspaper Consortium" and is there any benefit for me going with what the newspapers offer rather than doing our own thing with Yahoo Ads?

We already have conversion tracking set up for our landing pages, however Adwords has the option to import goals from anaytics, one of which is for the landing pages. What will happen if I do? Will it erase all the conversion data I already have? Will it mess things up? Or am I not understanding this correctly... Any help would be appreciated

Our home page was affected, so I believe it's a little on the home page, more so on the targeted page level.

Wow great job! How long did that take you? What kind of quality links did you get and how did you get them? I'm a bit frustrated because I've been doing some quality links, even got two from 2 different pr7 .gov links, and still haven't recovered yet :s

Question - Does Google read code as is or as rendered?

So for example, with a Facebook Like box, it has all the profile pictures of people...will Google see these as all separate links or ignore them?

Try again, I submitted it and it worked fine. The website may have been temporarily down when you tried the first time. Try again and see if it works.

I would create a sitemap and submit to Google Webmaster Central.

yes I have had 3 accepted on yahoo finance. I used marketwire, a press release distribution site and submitted a press release that was accepted on yahoo.

There was a Google Pengiun update yesterday called Pengiun 2.0. A ton of websites were penalized and lost rankings. I saw this this morning with a few of my sites as well. Give it a week or so for Google to adjust to the new algorithm changes before making any extreme moves.

Good point Maria. Google will be pretty unstable for the first little while. It's better to keep calm and carry on with good content
