Campaign Settings: want to track just root domain and not subdomains
Hello Holger, I ran into a similar issue when I wanted to only track www.mysite.com and not mysite.com Here is what I remember the Moz Help folks telling me is the way to do it, converted to your examples.... Set up three separate campaigns. One each for mysite.com.br , en.mysite.com.br , es.mysite.com.br AND when doing so select the button to "Only track this subdomain" (or some phrase like that) for each campaign. You will not be able to change the old campaigns (the ones with the options greyed out) to the new settings. So you will need to either archive or delete them.

Google Analytics: value of Bounce Rate in Landing Page Report and Behavior Flow Report is flipped?
It could be a coincidence, have you tried doing it over a different time period. Bounce rate and exits from start page are slightly different. If you have interactions tagged on the page such as Events and the user triggers them then leaves it will not be a Bounce but will be an Exit. Also, if you are not using premium, GA uses sampling so expect differences. In Web analytics tools in general I expect up to a 5% difference for the same metric in different reports, that's why it is all about trending over time and comparison rather than absolute numbers. Hope that helps?

Moz webfonts do not render correctly ...
O.K. finally I can answer this question myself: I installed lately a True Type Font: ufonts.com_helvetica_neue_ultralight.ttf which affected many browser fonts that I hardly could not use moz anymore. So problem is solved. Never install the font mentioned above !

Google Alerts - how does Google detect "new" content?
The Pages I get alerts from have been indexed months ago. But the question remains, what exactly makes google find the link on pages "several times":which have already been indexed, and never changed since the first alert?

Crawl Diagnostics: Exlude known errors and others that have been detected by mistake? New moz analytics feature?
Hey there, Thanks for the question. Unfortunately you won't be able to have specific errors filtered out from the Crawl Diagnostic. Your best bet is to start using the CSV files and generate your reports and sprints that way using Excel or whatever spreadsheet program you use. You may also want to suggest this in our feature request forum here: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-Moz-Feature-Requests to start a dialogue with my Product Team. Thanks! Joel.

Google Disavow Tool: which kind of links do harm and which do not harm my site?
Yes, linguee seems to be a quality website, apparently well regarded by Google, but I've got 37,000 backlinks from linguee domains (out of 42,000 total backlinks), and my rankings have been dropping during the last months (as the number of backlinks from linguee has been growing steadily) . Should I disavow these links? What do you think?

Open Site Explorer detects links from a site that redirects to it? How is this possible?
Hi Holger, It seems to me that you have a permanent 301 redirect error on your server. Or somebody has hijacked your DNS. You may want to check both things very soon. Check your robots.txt file Check your DNS settings make sure you're a record is not pointing to http://scte-brasilien.de/ Is either your DNS or your server I would call your hosting company and have it checked out. Sincerely, Thomas

Links between own sites cause bad pagerank?
If the links between each site are relevant, and the content on each of those sites is 100% unique (it sounds like you may need to work on this aspect) a few links between them are probably not causing any harm, and may actually be helping. A lot of businesses have multiple websites that link between each other. The real test is to be honest with yourself when asking the question: Is this link here for the visitors, or for SEO? Without seeing the sites myself, I can't say whether it looks spammy or not. I hope this calms your fears (the person asking the question only had one less site than your client): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufGw65-1je8 watch?v=ufGw65-1je8

Correct linking to the /index of a site and subfolders: what's the best practice? link to: domain.com/ or domain.com/index.html ?
I think you have it correct there. I always like to end in a slash for index pages http://inlinear.com/ - this is your home index page http://inlinear.com/products/ - this is your index page for the /products/ folder/group http://inlinear.com/products/page.php - this is a page within the /products/folder/group. Hardly anyone ever sets up index web pages like index.php or index.htm anymore, they are really not needed as they just make the URL longer. End in the slash and make sure that you are consistent with ending with that slash (vs dropping it off) when you link to your index pages. You would need to test the script you mention that rewrites the URL. It looks like it is making sure that the index page ends in a slash, but I could be wrong. Side story - I have had a CMS that uses http://inlinear.com/products as the index page for http://inlinear.com/products/ and this creates all kinds of issues Most people are used to not having an index page and the URL simply ending in a slash. So even if you had a non slashed version as your index page, people would link to the slash and then you have to setup 301s to fix that. Otherwise you end up with all kinds of duplicate page issues. I know Google Analytics looks at the slashes to group your content into reports. So the example index page of http://inlinear.com/products would NOT be included in reports with all the pages in the /products/ group e.g. http://inlinear.com/products/page.php http://inlinear.com/products/anotherpage.php as /products is not "within" /products/ You then have a report on /products/ that leaves out the index page and this is normally your most important page! Good luck!

Text analysis Tool: WDF*IDF - Within Document Freqeuncy x Inverse Document Frequency / tools?
My personal feeling about term frequencies on pages is that it's like chasing your tail. Whatever way Google uses term frequency measurements is so wrapped up with a bunch of other machine learning algorithms that you couldn't possibly come to any real conclusions about its employment as a stand alone factor. It's time to jump off the frequency bandwagon. As Matt Cutts says, Google is moving from "strings to things"--meaning a more holistic understanding of the page is where things are going.

Duplicate Content when Using "visibility classes" in responsive design layouts? - a SEO-Problem?
... of course it wasn't too difficult to solve this problem. In Foundation I could assign the right classes... so there is no need to work with visibility classes in this case.. and produce dublicated div's.

Do special characters ñ ã ô ä ö ü í à affect search results?
ñô sorry could not resist that. I would test it on other more well know examples, if you keep coming up with 0 and you still find pages with the special spelling in results then I would suggest Google copes with it, having said that A B C will rank better than C B A for the team "A B C" , having exact may always have a slight advantage

Is there a problem when passages of text are repeating on varios pages?
Hi Takeshi, now I realized that my client is offering 4 tours in the amazon. He is just mixing the attractions and length of the items to create different tours. So there is a lot of duplicate content which may result in his bad pagerank (although his pages are ranking). On the one hand its good to see different combinations of itineraries but I think the concept of such a site should be different. Each attraction with unique content should have its own page to be able to focus on different keywords. Then he should propose possible combinations of these attractions without repeating always the same content. This will be the only way to make the site better... right?

Keywords Rankings-Change-Bug?
Hi Holger, Sorry for the confusion! I took a look at your campaign and this is not related to your Bing & Yahoo rankings for that keyword, because the site is not ranking in the top 50 for those two search engines. This is actually a bit of a bug. What happened is that, for some reason, the rankings did not update correctly for this keyword last week on 4/20 as they should have so the "change" filter sees that as the site dropping out of the top 50 and then showing up back at 10 in the next update. If the ranking for that keyword had updated correctly, you would see a break in the line graph rather than the connected dots between the 4/13 and 4/27 updates. I believe that this keyword is missing the update for the 4/20 rankings because we will update rankings as long as we have information for 95% of the keywords. Since this is the only keyword that seems to be affected by the issue, it means that we weren't able to pull data for that one keyword but we did have data for all the other keywords so the system updated the information. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Chiaryn

Rogerbot does not catch all existing 4XX Errors
I understand, I am not using a CMS and the site is not very big, so I wondered why Roberbot did not find all the 404 Error at the first time, because they have been there for many months. Holger
