Moz has to access the business page via your personal page as you are an admin, its normal and so you shouldn't worry. If you're super bothered you can create a generic Facebook account grant it admin access on your business page and use that for Moz if you prefer.

RE: Heavy Weight Backlink not Showing in Google Webmaster Tool
Yes, unfortunately Google doesn't show all its links you can view them in open site explorer or majestic seo or Hrefs. I would still assume its been seen by Google though so don't panic.

RE: Can you change date of monthly reports delivery ?
Sorry I couldn't help more, looks like your stuck with the following :
When do my reports get sent out?
We've changed the delivery dates for monthly and quarterly reports to ensure they go out on schedule. Monthly reports will now be delivered by the 3rd, and quarterly reports will be delivered by the 5th of the month. The only other option i guess is using weekly reports and sort of stitching them together though this is also more time involved.
Good luck.

RE: Hi, I'm looking to find out why a google+ account that was rarely used has 10,000 views. I want to discover what sites it is linked to. I entered the page url but no joy. can anyone help?
I believe you are trying to work out the views ( http://imgur.com/XXiyLxI ) those views do not mean that it has a lot of links it could mean its been shared one or old and thus viewed a lot. Unfortunately you won't be able to find out much on the views but you can find out how that account has been linked to by entering its url e.g. https://plus.google.com/+SEOmoz into OSE or Majestic seo or Ahrefs and TA DA! you can find the links but links have no real coloration with views
You can however use this site to find out shared etc. http://www.sharedcount.com/ e.g. http://www.sharedcount.com/#url=https%3A%2F%2Fplus.google.com%2F%2BSEOmoz%2Fposts
Hope that helps, if not let us know what you need and i'm sure we can hep

RE: Links from directories
They are not really a grey area they are frowned upon - https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66356 not to mention Google distaste for article directories.
"We have some competitors that have a large number of links from paid directory sites and, on the face of it, this tactic does not hurt their rankings"
I think what you need to think is "yet" it might not now but it can in the future.
Any advice for directories is the following: Don't do it for the link do it for the user. If you have a niche directories for say coffee and you sell coffee and users are using the directory for finding people selling coffee then that's great! You want to submit to directories you think real people are using to find services no spammy directories for the sake of a link.
Now you can get away with a small percentage of your profile with directories but that also increases that small percentage of risk you have on your site too so weight it up before proceeding.
TL:DR
- Google doesn't like them (it's not a grey area) - Matt Cutts
- Use them for the user not the links
- if you do use them there is risk/reward element
Hope that helps a bit.

RE: Competition tracking
Hi Matt,
Firstly I recommend you take a look around the Moz help hub - http://moz.com/help/guides/links/competitive-metrics
You can find it under the links > competitors tab
If you're still lost I'm sure we can guide you to the best solution.

RE: Keyword rankings and tracked keywords - add manually?
I'm afraid its a job to be done manually (you can bulk upload the keywords so don't panic too much!) you can find out how to here - http://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/keyword-rankings/add-and-manage-keywords
1,000 is rather a lot is may be worth looking if you need that many e.g. are they all getting month searches etc. depending on what Moz plan you've got you may not have enough keywords in your campaign be able to add that many. Take a look at http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo/keyword-research if you want some ideas
Hope that helps.

RE: How To Perfom A Link Audit
BEHOLD! https://moz.com/blog/guide-to-googles-disavow-tool
Marie Haynes has a great guide to help you disavow (remove so to say) the "bad" links. Well worth a read. I'm also sure if I need to do Graphics design i would only be a lowly seo'er

RE: Does anyone else have issues with Moz's keyword search volume tool for Google's search engine?
Hi Patrick,
Googles a tricky beast and it doesn't give up details easy now days so Roger uses Bing to help you with search volume, this isn't given to you via Bing to mislead you it is so you can get a rough idea of what the volume is to help you. You can still use Google's ad sense to get some volumes but there is no reason to believe even that is completely correct.
You can find more info here- http://moz.com/blog/keyword-research-and-targeting-without-exact-match-whiteboard-friday
You can even see in the comments I asked-
"Quick question you mention Moz's (great) keyword checker which also has search numbers including exact. How is this extrapolated? when I mean is, is this going to be incorrect with the new update too?"
"Our data comes via Bing, who still provide exact match data (and keyword referral data, thankfully!)." - Rand Fishkin
Hope that helps.

RE: Branded Reports = Whitelabel (and emails)
If you have the Medium price plan or above the reports are branded. As far as i am aware its branded not white label, you can always export to an excel sheet and create your own report or download the branded report and send it from your own email address.
Hope that helps.

RE: Best Guest Posting Agency
I wouldn't use any guest posting service: it's an out dated tactic and mostly likely will get you a penalty in the longer term. If you're interested in guest posting you can identify a location your suspect audience may be and target a well written post to target them that contributes towards that site etc. This isn't a guest post per sei but a contribution to the site. build useful content and avoid guest post spam.
Best of luck!

RE: Having High Quality sites link to my site
No one has access to Googles 'Secret sauce' so a lot of the time it is educated guess and using tools like Moz. Most people like to us DA and PA to measure but also some common sense. E.g. if it in the same niche, is the content good etc. with that in mind you can normally work out if that site may be a good link wit your own. Just break down in your head - "what would make an authoritative site?"
hope that helps.

RE: How do you get listed on Yahoo?
Hi Ruben,
You can put it here - http://dir.yahoo.com/ but there is a cost or like other search engines it will eventually get picked up if you want to wait and not pay. Yahoo uses some tech off Bing so if its in Bing it will come over to yahoo (though Yahoo are working on their search again)
Hope that helps.Enjoy your Friday

RE: Arrrg . . . Just can't seem to get there
First off dont use PR as a way to measure, its not been used in years and means nothing really. Moz's DA & PA are a better metric to use but even so should only be used as a hint not an authority on ranking.
Ensure you are optimized fully on your site I can see a few areas you could improve, also i can see you've made a lot of landing pages for different areas this isn't the best tactic to help really. Especially as the content is the same its all just diluted.
I'd recommend also doing some local citations to help you, get some people to leave you a review or two nothing spreads better then word of mouth etc. Try not to focus on what your competitors are doing and try to focus on what makes you the best electrician in Perth, e.g. you can make some guides of how to fix guides good share material etc. etc.
Keep focusing on what the user would want, where the user maybe finding you and try not to focus on PR or your competitors.
Hope some of that helps.
