NEGATIVE keywords! Most ignored area in PPC management, and does so much for improving your performance. Continually mining for negative keywords and adding them to your campaigns/groups will save you money on wasted clicks, non-qualified leads, increasing your relevance. It will also indirectly affect your QS with a higher historical CTR. And an improved QS ends up saving you more on your CPC.
If I understand what you're looking for, I believe Raven SEO does this. Once you've setup the kw you want to track and integrated Google Analytics, you can see that data for each keyword.
Raven will show you in various columns: the rank of the kw, the amount of traffic that kw has generated according to GA, and the relative volume that kw generates in Adwords. These columns aren't on by default. You'll need to customize your Ranking SERP Tracker page to see that data.
The major three have all been mentioned but I thought I'd give you a bit more insight.
I'm going to chime in with what David said. Think about a number of impressions that is statistically significant to you. And don't add the exact match of a kw query until it hits that number. Or delete the exact matches that don't have that number of impressions.
This makes for a lot easier organization and analysis in the long run.
What kind of tools do you find valuable or useful for managing your Clients' campaigns? Have you used any in the past? Which ones do you think are useless? Ones that come to mind that I'd like opinions on are Sitewiz and Wordstream.
There's also CoTweet, but I prefer Hootsuite over them and Tweetdeck.
I know this might be obvious but just in case... Have you checked to ensure that your site is being indexed by Bing?
Interesting thread. So now after the more recent Panda update, is that another dip I see in those same graphs There's gotta be something with wrong with the data. Most of the data I've seen from Google Trends and Compete is laughable.
So any further updates? How has Panda affected SEO websites? And why? Is it all the incestuous linking? Thinking out loud here... is it possible that Google has some way to benchmark what the mean/median/average links there are per industry and THEN it uses those to figure out what a websites link count is worth? (Know what I mean?) eg. SEO industry mean = 300 real links, so above 300 higher authority, but dentist websites mean = 60 real links, so different way to measure authority? Point is, links and their worth could also be classified and measured by industry.
I feel the same was as I do about this as I do about the "Google Tags" and its brief run. Google Tags was a BIG advantage for local businesses who took advantage of it at a measly $25 a month. Of course, they've discontinued the program entirely.
I think those who +1 will see an initial advantage in SERPS, but after it rises in popularity and matures, that factor will be lessened and Google will have moved on to other factors.
I echo all the comments about Local. With 1 in 5 searches having local intent, this area is becoming HOT!
I had the exact same question, and found a Wordpress plugin that makes Facebook comments readable.
Hmm I'm curious about this too..
One of things I've noticed is that Google more often shows the local pack first when it's a singular search term, like "hair salon miami" and search results first when it's a plural search like "hair salons miami" I've seen this pattern a lot, so I think that might be one of the factors.
I had a similar question in mind that I was about to ask, but this one is close enough. My questions is, ", how many of you DO give others Thumbs down, and why?" Is it to express disagreement or to express something else? Personally I've noticed the few times I have given a Thumbs down, is because I felt the comment had zero value. No genuine response or compliment. Is that wrong?
I don't think either of them will ever be without work!
