I would say that they have 80% of their keywords using long tail strategy in a site with new 1000 pages that makes sense... also the 20/80 rule apply also apply for SEO. (20% of your landing pages bring 80% of your traffic). You can see that they rank for very competitive keyword like: "Most Expensive Shoes"... You can see other keywords they rank well here: http://www.similarweb.com/website/listdose.com

RE: Site Speed for Magento Site
Hi Rachel.
Before you spend money hiring a Magento Expert (the good ones aren't cheap) you can try do the follow:
- Move your site for a Magento optimize server. I use and recommend Simple Helix. (they will even move your site for free).
- Use cloud flare pro as your CDN, they have very nice options that will optimize your website code in the fly. https://www.cloudflare.com/features-optimizer
- Install the GT Metrix Magento Extension. (they have a very nice feature to optimize all the images in your site).
Those steps should be enough to bring your load time to 2-3 seconds, I did myself in many magento sites with speed issues however if after that you still having problem you might need hire a magento expert.

RE: Please Correct This on-site SEO strategy w/ respect to all the updates
HI Bob,
- I wouldn't replace the H1 and H2 for strong.
- I think is good idea to use exactly matching in the Title.

RE: Which wordpress pluggin would you advice for related posts and for social share
Strange, I tested on my site and the load time is 2.69 without the plugin and 2.75 with the plugin.
In 2008 our "friend" Matt Cutts wrote a post where he suggested 5 plugins, I am not sure how relevant those plugins are after so many is years, but is worth a try.

RE: I'm I being penalize? I fell off SERP for main keyword
Maybe, Links play a big whole on your ranking, and without this 301 you loss big part of your link profile.

RE: Can I make a universal 301 redirect rule for my site?
You can use Excel formulas to generate a list with all your URLs with .php....

Can you place the 301 again?

RE: Advanced Outside Perspective Requested to Combat Negative SEO
Unfortunately Google created a easy way for competitors or people with bad intention, destroy other people business. If website "Y" is being outrank by website "Z". Website Y instead of improve their link profile, have the option to buy bad links for the competitor. Also if you offend someone and this person has nothing to do with your industry the person can still drop your ranks paying less than $100 dollars.
Matt Cuts said that a simple disavow would work: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znOqJu3le2g
But from what you and many others are saying is not working.
When the upgrade was released Google knew those problems would happens yet, they didn't do anything to avoid the issue. In my humble opinion Google just want sale more PPC.
I think the only way to build a solid web business is having your traffic coming from many sources or you create a single point of failure. This is complex task if you think how big is Google Market share, but as web Marketers we have to figure out a way to do so.

RE: What would be the right website hosting solution for a global brand with multiple TLDs?
How about using a CDN solution like Cloud Flare? https://www.cloudflare.com/features-cdn

RE: Shopping cart migration questions, SEO concerns?
Uglier URLs is not the end of the world, I personally was able to rank clients websites with very ugly URL like, site.com/238313
However once your new site is under development why don't take the time and implement the clean url? I'm a sure a clean url will help with SEO and also is much better for usability.

RE: Domain Forwarding for SEO
1 - PA is metric created by Moz and is not used by google to rank your site.
2 - You can include a 301 redirect in your .htaccess file. So the version with www of your site and without is the same on google eyes.
3 - This tool might help you with the 301 http://www.rapidtables.com/web/tools/redirect-generator.htm

RE: Shopping cart migration questions, SEO concerns?
1 - You have to do 301 redirect so you don't lose your organic traffic. Basically tell google where you moved each page.
2 - This URL is less SEO Friendly: www.storebrandname.com/default.aspx?keyword1 than your older URL.

RE: Blog Content
Your content can be about things that your target public would like to read about. For example who reads about "cleaning marble floors" mostly like would like to read about "home improvements".
About outsourcing your blog content creation scripted.com is a good provider.

RE: Can you track amount of visitors to competitive websites/blogs?
You are right the numbers are only an estimates but I disagree with you that they are "Worthless", is always good to have an idea of your competitors traffic. You can see what is the potential of market x or y looking by looking at big players estimate traffic.

RE: Can you track amount of visitors to competitive websites/blogs?
Actually there are few "spy" services that can give you your competitors traffic, a few example are:

Cyber Monday ideas to go beyond Organic traffic and PPC
Hey Guys,
Our eCommerce will have great deals in a few Power Tools (drills, sanders, saw..etc) in December 2th (cyber Monday). So far 100% of our traffic/sales comes from SEO, PCC and our newsletter.
I am trying to come up with ideas to go beyond that and reach clients we never reached before.
One of my ideas was to use banners. But where should I go buy banners ads placement? (I never bought before). I need a website where I can buy ads relevant to my target public.
Other idea was to rent a email list. Again the same question where should I go to rent email lists?
What else could we do to get in front of new customers on cyber monday? What are you planning to do on Cyber Monday?
Thanks

RE: Can you tell me aabout All In One SEO
I have been using the Yoast SEO plugin is much more advance than "All In One SEO"... and is super easy to use... After you install many tools will be available in your post page on wordpress admin those tools will help you make sure you do everything right when comes for on page SEO. Also make sure you generate the sitemap and submit on Google webmaster Tool.
