Help creating a 301 redirect in my htaccess file
Hi Thompson, Thanks for your input, so I'm planning on eventually do the 301 for everyone. I'm re-designing a big website and not everything is done, but I want users that are looking for the content that I already completed to land in the new site. (because the new site has a much higher conversion rate). In other hand I have 30% of my traffic in my old site coming from direct visitors, I dont want those visitors to be send to other URL because it would be confusing. however I want people coming from google to go my new site... Do you think I should sacrifice usability, so I don't risk Google to think I'm trying to do some kind of black hat, strategy.

Is there a tool that can use measure and improve the quality score of my PPC landing pages?
You can run your landing pages URLs in adwords tools>keyword planner>Search for new keyword and ad group ideas>Your landing page. This approach will show you what google's crawler thinks are the terms on the page. This won't give you a quality score per se but it will let you know how google adwords sees the page. Even if there were a quality score tool it would only be as good as the creator and Google doesn't have a tool like that.

A/B Testing.. Are you doing? how is it been? What do you think would be the best path for who is starting now?
Hi Filip, Check this article out - http://blog.kissmetrics.com/100-conversion-optimization-case-studies/ - 100 case studies broken down in simple format. By having 100 case studies one can really see there is no right / wrong and one approach for all websites, but at the same time some outstanding tips and observations. 1 thing I have learned: keep it simple, ideally focus on 1-2 main messages on your homepage, even though you burn to highlight 10 different things you feel is so great about your business.

Search Operator Link: How accurate is the data?
How often do you guys use the search operator "link:"? Not very Often How accurate is the data? Its accurate, but it only shows a small percentage of the links Why the numbers of links when we use the parameter is way lower than the number on Google webmaster Tool or open site explorer? It is lower because in the past people used this search operator to find links pointing to competitors to help with their own link building plan It only show the most powerful links? No it shows a random selection most of the time.

Is there a way to include Moz Analytics in my website backend.
Thanks for reaching out to us here at Moz! This is a great question for our Moz Dev Discussion Group: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293196-Mozscape-Developer-Discussion-Group The knowledgable community and discussion group found in that above link will surely prove helpful in this case. These members have found several creative ways to build tools out of our API and I am sure the group will be able to come up with some ideas. Have a great week!

Cyber Monday ideas to go beyond Organic traffic and PPC
Hello Felip3, Have you experimented with affiliate marketing at all? If you have a good brand, competitive pricing and decent conversion rates you can probably get other sites to promote your offer through an affiliate program. Coupon sites love this type of thing (Cyber Monday, Black Friday...) so you can start there. View this thread, which answers a similar question. Good luck!

Does Ezine articles still make any good?
Hi Felip, Posting on ezine and other article directories are tactics from few years ago and shouldn't be using because Search Engines see that as duplicate content on the web and if the those directories have higher authority than your site, it doesn't benefit you at all in SEO stands. I'm pretty sure most people recommend not to use it anymore. However, talking about any good for these sort of directories. Yes, i believe they are still a bit useful. For example, if your website is not getting any traffic and you have no luck in building up the traffic via Social or Search, posting on article directories with thousands of visits, it helps your article get more impression. That is the only good I can think of for using article directories now a days.

Why Moz Analytics says that my site had a 13% traffic increase and Moz Pro says that the same site had 3% decrease on traffic?
I am currently having the same issue as my domain authority is different on both of the campaign views.

Weekly Linkbuilding Task List
Something it's easy to miss... Spend time to understand who your target audience is, what they're interested in, what motivates them and what do they care about... Don't fall into the trap of defining your target audience with generic terms like "30 something professional" or "stay at home mum" - that doesn't do anyone any favours. The more you really know about the people you're trying to talk to - the easier it'll be to do the stuff on your list and if you understand them properly you'll know how to do it in an authentic, engaging way that's relevant to them. Don't lose site of the fact that a link isn't just a link, but should/could also get your referral traffic too (if it's relevant, in the right place and gives people a real reason to follow it. And really, it's all about the traffic isn't it?

PPC software.. which one do you think is better? why?
we did marin and it absolutely destroyed our business. We are very dilligent with our ad spend and Marin could never catchup. Maybe we change bids more than most people but we were a lot more careful than marin was and seasonality was a big problem. Instead of paying marin 150 a year we decided to go with another ppc person and that seemed to be better.

Checking for Poison Links... Am I doing it right?
Google notes more links because O.S.E. is only taking into account what it measures as the strongest links to your site. The GWT is looking at a more accurate number of total links. So the discrepancy in total number of links does not mean that they have been removed.

Merging domains will sum the authority?
One domain have authority 44 and other 24... After I merge I will have authority 68? I doubt it. I think that domain authority is closer to logarithmic rather than linear.... If I am correct, merging a DA 44 with a DA 24 might lift the DA 44 to 47 or 48. Why? A DA 24 is very weak compared to a DA 44. Also, if the DA 24 has a lot of the same links that the DA 44 has then don't expect to gain much of anything in the rankings. The best benefit will occur if the DA 24 has links and other quality signals that are totally different from the DA 44. Then merging will bring fresh strength to the DA 44 - but again, a 24 is very weak and the benefit might only be worth a few points higher on the DA scale.
