Also - for non-localization, set your location to "United States". Not perfect, but it works pretty well.

This won't answer your question entirely, but it's kinda fun. The first instance I remember of Rand drawing a robot came from this post.  ( I can't believe I still remember it).

Roger, obviously, came later.  I like to think of them as big brother/little brother. Or maybe distant cousins.
