Should i avoid using H2 to optimize my home page
Overall, won't make a huge difference. It you want to be perfect, I think this would be the best setup. Example page: http://www.in2town.co.uk/health-magazine H1= Health magazine - Fitness, Nutrition, News, Weight Loss H2 = The health magazine for men's health, women's health, childrens health & healthy living H3 = Article titles On an article page, make the title of the article H1.

Carwling and indexing problems
Is your on-site SEO tags for Google news setup? Are you in Google news program? I don't know why exactly Google's crawl rate changes, but that is something mostly out of your control or anyone else's. But I have seen this happen with site switches where before on a php site the blog post would be indexed within minutes to hours and now, a lot of changes take a lot longer to be reflected. mind you this is a #1 ranking site too for its niche. have a look at these, make sure your on-site tags are all good and apply to google news. http://searchengineland.com/library/google/google-news-keywords-tag also, have you submitted a new sitemap to GWT since the update to site? other things to consider: blogger is a google service, they get priority clearance anyway blogger ha a huge domain authority, your site doesn't blogger gets millions of visits a day, your website will never perhaps you can come up with a way to use the above 3 points to your advantage. run a canonical version of the site on a blog, get it indexed, get your links exposed and overtime, google will figure out that it needs to crawl your site rather fast.

Is there anywhere i can find a list of the best UK dedicated hosting companies
just got a quote and the company said that they would charge for backing up the site, now i have put the details below but not sure how much i would be charged per month. the site would be www.in2town.co.uk and another 20 sites would go onto the dedicated server. can anyone tell me on average what i maybe charged before i agree to this deal In regards to backup - without knowing how much data needs to be backed up an easy starting point is look at a per GB of backup model and this will be charged at: £0.50 per GB of data backup per month. This is run on a 7 day cycle (including full system state and daily incrementals) and UKFast will take care of the restoration for you.

How should i optimize this page
thanks for this, i have put it under the menu but not sure if it looks silly or not. have replaced the intro which was in the middle of the column with the story of the day which i will change around four times a day. if i change this story four times a day instead of once a day would it help with google crawling my site more often. for some reason it is only according to cache visiting my site around every four days. i use to find that if we published an article it would be in google within 24 hours or less, a lot of the times less but now it is taking around four days since we done the upgrade

What can i do to get google to visit my site more often
hi, i have just got a reply from my hosting company To use the If-Modified-Since HTTP header, you need to have both mod_expires and mod_headers enabled as Apache modules on your server. I have just checked that for you and I can confirm that both of the modules are enabled and you will be able to use If-Modified-Since HTTP headers. Gyi, how would i know use these if the hosting company does offer the service
