Service for finding duplicate content?
Copyscape has an API you could probably feed that a list of your URLs and it report back close matches fairly easily. I'm not aware of one that does it as an ongoing task though, which seems to be what you are asking for. Mind you "Very big" + Regular could add up in price.

Anyone used Reporting Suite or another paid tool for analytics reporting?
We are an agency and we have been using Reporting Suite for a while. So far we are more than happy with it: Reports look really professional Solid and robust application Very flexible and powerful capabilities. At the beginning, it looks a little bit hard to use but once you get the concepts it is really simple The Reporting Suite guys keep on adding new features and enhancement continuously Great support It is a hosted application so you don't need to care about anything. We tried in the past some third party applications based on Excels, but they gave us headaches for several reasons The only disadvantage is that you can only pull data from GA, but so far this is not an issue for us. They have plans to add addtional data source in the future. It may not be the cheapest tool, but we believe it is worth it bearing in mind the quality of the reports and our savings in time and effort.

How fast is too fast when it comes to link building?
Excellent Point Casey Kluver, Building links is not like it used to be, as Casey pointed out SEOMOZ and many other sites depending on the topic can develop a ton of links and they did not even have to chase them or ask for them they just showed up, mainly because of what they do and how well they do it. No take a car dealership that maybe a bit harder to get links for than say an automotive review site with articles on hot new items for the car or truck. Maybe they have controversial topics about a manufacture and a computer issue causing car accidents. Or you can even take Politics where someone said something that people did not agree on you may see a huge flux of push on that. I hate to say it but build good quality content and links will come, when you do build good content then you can push out teasers to others on Facebook, Google+ and such and people will then share those articles with others. Google is looking for natural link patterns so yes if you get to many links from low quality building such as link exchanges and blast blogs with spam or tons of links back in forums and directories those may not help as much as someone really saying hey check this out. I hope this helps.

Best reporting tool for Google Analytics?
Hey Rachel, If you are using Wordpress, Yoast has a Google Analytics plugin which offers many added variables and segmenting. I played around with it for a little while, but basic analytics are enough for my efforts right now. You can read about it here: http://yoast.com/wordpress/google-analytics/

Why am I getting duplicate content errors on same page?
I just did a comparison and realized that you are right, there is a slight difference. Italy is capitalized in one version since it is linked that way on one page. I had no idea that would make such a difference! The link has been fixed, thank you for your help!

Changing URLS - wondering about implications
A negative effect would be from incoming links. You want the links going to the old page to route to the new page. I'd use a 301. The old pages might still be indexed if you do your proposed switch. Currently your site has a robots.txt file, but it doesn't have Meta Robots. Meta Robots will allow you to choose whether to index a page or not.

Why would my keywords never ranking in Bing but have great position in both Google and Yahoo?
Agree 100%!!! We got a VERY powerful keyword ranked #3 in Bing. Two days later, Bing sent me an email through webmaster tools letting me know that they dropped the keyword from us because our website had no content about this keyword. However, our website is almost exclusively dedicated with original content specific to this keyword. I have never thought that a competitor could rat you out to the SE and get you dropped. That said, I find myself thinking this was almost certainly the case. I have no idea how. The good part was Bing was kind enough to give me a way to solve the problem. I was out of the country at the time, so I ended up doing it though chat and email. It took a few days, but the person was extremely helpful and even gave me some good SEO tips. It took about a week to solve and get back on the SERPs, but I am still far away from my original #3 position. The entire process took about two weeks. Getting a real human to verify our content took the longest. I would have never been able to fix this problem had I not been using webmaster tools.

What's the best free tool for checking for broken links?
Hey Kristi Xenu is great and free, free I tells ya! But, if you can shell out a bit of dosh, the screaming frog is a better tool. SEOMoz's own Dr Pete did a bit of a write up here: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/crawler-faceoff-xenu-vs-screaming-frog Hope it helps Marcus

Drop in non-branded organic search April 1
What happens when you look at non-branded organic search by engine? I want to make sure that we're talking about a Google dropoff here, and not that suddenly you've been de-indexed from Yahoo and Bing and we're looking at the wrong issues. Were there any code changes to your site recently where something might have gone wrong? Did you run Adwords or some other type of paid search advertising that wasn't correctly tagged (thus showing up as organic) that ended and is now showing a huge drop?
