Impact of recent On Page Optimisation changes had negative impact !
HI Andriy the site is www.over50choices.co.uk the specific page is http://www.over50choices.co.uk/Health/Compare-Health-Insurance.aspx I have just plugged in the Quake Toolbar and see the KW density remains the same for all pages! Is this because the site is DNN CMS templated site - is there anything i can do to get the pages analysed as separate pages? Thanks Ash

Google Plus: Personal vs Business Accounts I am Confused!
Happy to help, Ash! I am very happy to hear that things are coming into focus for you. Yes, there is a lot of information out there, and the platform is rapidly changing. It can be overwhelming at times. You may want to consider joining a couple of Google+ communities on Google+. They are great places to network, as well as ask and answer questions about the Google+ platform. Of course, Q&A is always here to answer your questions as they arise, too. Cheers, Christy

Are these Bad Internal Links/Anchor Text?
Thanks Peter When we launched we wanted to present content first & then "buy" later so your comments support this, although there is a temptation of course to stray from this in order to build traffic quicker! We have moved from about page 9 to page 2 & 3 of some of our key words and rising weekly, i just need to keep telling myself we have only been live 3 months! Hopefully with the tweaks we are making shortly with some of your pointers it shoudl all add value Many thanks Ash

Are my Domain URLs correctly set up?
That is a debatable question. In my opinion, I seriously doubt Google would have a problem figuring out that this is the same page. I don't think it would cause you to lose any pagerank. However, if you just put a rel canonical tag on that page it should take care of it without even needing to worry about the redirect.

Has the World moved on or is it in the same place?
I can't seem to load your page at this moment, but I would generally recommend trying to tie your brand to yourself. For example -- When someone offers a helpful answer on Moz (or a personal finance blog, or whatever else) users are inclined to see who they are. In your case, if you're providing useful financial information over the appropriate social channels then people will be interested to see who you are. Your experience and the quality of your responses will draw people to your brand, as you have built some trust with the users. TLDR: Your name is old and experienced, but your brand is a new player in a crowded space. Use your name to draw people to your brand Hope that helps.

Can you duplicate on site Blog Posts to Google Plus
Hi no this isn't what I meant, I have authorship sorted. i think I read on Copyblogger that it was a good tactic to re post your blogs on google plus without google penalising you for duplicate copy, in order to engage your google plus following rather than just drop a link ? ash

Does Google only look at LSI per page or context of the Site?
Thank Everett thats really helpful. I must admit i do wonder whether i have split out too many pages that could be combined, I think when i launched this version of the site in June, i was trying to focus a core keyword per page, with plurials etc, as i didnt think google would in the example you used pick up funeral planning & funeral plans as connected - god this job is hard sometimes! Too many Internal Links: A good thing or bad thing?
Too many internal links is no doubt a bad thing which should be corrected as soon as possible. While there is no magic number you need to adhere to, you will want to keep your internal links to as small a number as possible. The main reason for this is because the more links you have, the lesser pagerank you are going to pass to each link (read more about that here: http://moz.com/blog/how-many-links-is-too-many). Find out where does all the internal links actually link to, and decide which ones you don't want to pass link juice to and eliminate those links. If all these internal links are a result of your CMS, you might want to consider changing to another CMS.

New website launched 3 weeks ago but not sure what Moz Analysis is telling me?
Hi Ash, Take a deep breath You have a couple of things going on including the change in site structure as well as moz and GWT data telling you various things. so the first thing to do is figure out what exactly each tool is telling you and why. Then you know what you need to fix. For the moz report, you should check out where the 404s are coming from by downloading the report as csv and opening in excel. Filter by 404 errors and on the left column you have the error page and the far right column the page that linked to it. It is likely you have links to old pages on a page (or pages) of your new site in which case you should adjust these links to reflect the new architecture. That should take care of most of the 404's but of course you need to see the exact pages in the report to know for sure where and why the errors are happening. For GWT I would think that maybe your old site had a sitemap and the new one does not? I do not see a sitemap at /sitemp.xml. This would potentially account for the 163 submitted but only 2 indexed. Google does not easily forget old submitted sitemaps so if it still has the old sitemap in its 'memory' and the new site only has 2 of the same urls, you would get some numbers like what you see. I would create and submit a new sitemap reflecting the new architecture and see what that does for the numbers. Be patient, it can take a few days or even a week or two for google to completely spider the new architecture. Of course you should also 301 redirect all the old page urls to their relevant new pages if you have not done so already. Hope that helps! Main thing is to cut the data into more understandable chunks so you can get a better handle on what is going on.

Personal & Business Google+ Pages - which gives SEO juice?
Hey James, From what I can gather from Google on this, a business page can be set as the rel publisher from the homepage only, and subsequent pages assigned to an individual for authorship. However, I wouldn't worry about transferring social accounts over as you can, if you wish, just add these as links which will show in the G+ business page About, including a link to your website. As long as Google can see the 'circle-of-trust' from your site, to your G+ account and back again, then all is good. Perhaps I haven't been watching or taking notice, but I cant see I have ever seen a brand picked up as an author for anything. Hope this helps, Andy
