So there's definitely a choice by tumblr to follow the link or not,

I don't think buying the domain in a specific country will change anything.

In France the most common hosting companies are OVH (www.ovh.com), Amen (www.amen.fr), and Gandi (www.gandi.net), and I know that OVH offers you to choose a country for your IP, so you can focus a specific local market with it.

And for your plan with the .com with sub-folders, I think it's a good choice !

The [Visit camp26.biz] is coming from the alternative text on the scroller images.

You must have the option to put the alternative text of your choice in the Joomla admin.

Try using a clean Joomla template, by using "free" templates like this one you are at risk of malicious code hidden in the template.

Here even if it's not a real link but just a text mention of a website, it's not something you should be finding on every link of the site, a mention in the footer or in the credits section is enough in most case.

Make sure you download the template from a safe website (the autor website or a well known templates website).

The guy you hired for your blog comments didn't look at the topics, just the popularity of the pages.

The comments are for the most part really spammy, if he made them in a short time span, maybe that's what alerted Google and why you lost serps.

There is a mod for SMF (Simple Machine Forum) that allow you to tag a topic, then use those tags to produce the related posts (http://mods.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=579 ), maybe you can work it out in your forum.

I think subfolders accompanied with geotargeting in GWT would work nicely in your case. (canadapost.ca/en/ and canadapost.ca/fr/) but it demands some preparations (301 redirect for example) and it will not be easy technically to change that in your website.

I use Medusa to do it, it's really easy to use : load the video in the software, select the time frame, add subtitles, go to the next time frame, rince & repeat.

If you want to add directly the subtitles in the video, you'll have to encode it, for that I used VirtualDubMod, with the Plugin Subtitler.

I didn't see any news about a big update of the Google algorithm recently. The reconsideration request take some time to process, if the hidden links were the cause of your lost rankings, it should come back soon now that you fixed the problem.

Check your (old & new) competitors backlinks via Open Site Explorer or Majestic SEO to see what they did to be ahead of you in the rankings.

If some of your competitors lost rankings too, maybe they were hit with the same problem as you (malicious code/hidden spammy links).

Just explain that your website has been hacked, but be sure that the problem is fixed before asking them to reconsiderate.

You can find many articles on how to secure more your wordpress (for example http://wp.tutsplus.com/tutorials/11-quick-tips-securing-your-wordpress-site/ ).

It could come from the code of your theme, if you download it on a shady wp theme website, it comes with a malicious code in your footer (base64 encode so it doesn't look suspicious).

And as your SEO in general, try to use the H1 on your homepage for SEO and not only for the visual style

I watched your code, maybe you're victim of a hack because there are several spammy links hidden in your page.

Check your wordpress plugins, watch on your ftp in your includes if one has been modified recently, and when it's corrected ask for a  reconsideration in Google webmaster Tools so Google can watch if the problem is gone and re-rank your website.

Do you need to rank on every fabric name for your product ? If not, you could just put one product page and have the fabric choice in a dropdown menu.

And for the meta description, allow me to quote SEOmoz Beginners guide to SEO : "Note that the meta description tag does NOT get used by the engines for rankings, but rather helps to attract clicks by searchers from the results page (as it is the "snippet" of text used by the search engines)".

If you use only one item in many variations (and want to keep your website that way), you must find ways to make each page as unique as possible.

You should look at :

• The url.
• The title.
• The meta description.
• The product name and description.
• The product image name and alt attribute.
• The breadcrumb trail.

And try to customize them to make each product page unique.

Also check if a page is reachable with differents urls, if your product is reachable by its rewritten and non rewritten url, that could cause the duplicated pages problem on your website.

(For example, www.yourwebsite.com/product.php?id=02 and www.yourwebsite.com/shiny-rewritten-product-url)

If that's the case, use rel=canonical or 301 redirect to your rewritten URLs, make a sitemap with the latest ones and your duplicate pages number should go down.
