Hi,
How long does it take for a 301 redirect to pass PR/Juice to the new domain it's redirecting to?
From what I understand you tell Google in Webmaster tools this domain is now going to this domain and then setup a file on the old domains hosting to redirect to the new.
And that's it!
If that is correct how long does it take? 2 days, 2 weeks, months, maybe never???

Are the two pages ranking using the same title tag? or even targeting the same keyword but with different wording around it?
If not and one of those pages is actually a page you have been optimising so the title tag, url, content etc and the other page is just a random which has come out the wood work, then just focus on the page your have optimised for.
Get this through the rankings and once it's done if you want to go back and try and pull the other through then why not, just depends if the work to do so would be better spent on another keyword to pull through.

Looks like it could be another great project from Ann.
But like you I just want to know a few things behind the scenes. if it does what I hope it can, which is basically generating tweets/retweets from real people and I do indeed see a uplift in my own following and brand exposure then she can put a price against it and I would be happy to hand over a monthly subscription fee.

Looks like Ann over at MyBlogGuest has released a very interesting side project called 'Viral Content Buzz' (www.viralcontentbuzz.com).
I have had a quick look and it seems to be something that could be very useful regarding social sharing of content.
Basically you can put your article into a category to gain exposure for it (this costs 'points'), once in the gallery others can tweet the link to the article to gain themselves points - and it goes round and round.
It does look like a good way of building up followers and exposure but in order to pick up points you need to tweet and you can not tweet until you have a certain number of followers (just so you know I like this).
The only thing I can think of negatively is how real are those lists? I guess the proof would be in the retweeting and visits to the article.
Anyone else looked at this service?
If you use the mozbar, its domain auth is lower then any other result on the first page.
Few things on a side note, I personally would remove the 
from the title tag and also work out why your manual meta description is not being pulled through to the SE.
Idea: Maybe you could add social buttons to the galleries for each photo. Idea being people from the wedding like/share/tweet pictures they are in which generates exposure and social signals. Something I think would be very shareable.

So if I followed 100 real people but non followed back, would they still be exposed to my tweets in anyway?
I maybe be wrong but from what I thought was: you follow them, fingers crossed they check out your profile like what you are doing and follow you back. You then hope one of your tweets stands out to them in their feed and they retweet or engage in some way which generates exposure for your profile to their following?

If someone did manage to produce a piece of content which was 'best of the web' how would they go about getting exposure for it on twitter though?
Would you need to rely on other marketing channels to do this?

How do you generate followers on twitter?
I see a lot of people are saying follow others to gain more followers, use #tags and engage with other peoples tweets.
But with the last point, all the tweets I find under search are spam.
As an example, if you searched 'SEO' all you are going to get is lots of ' view this article' type tweets.
It's almost like there is more business/spam then actual real people.

Doesn't this totally depend on the industry the client is in? 600+ visitors a day is a lot of visitors and some areas may not even get 600 'Relevant' searches a day.
Might be of use, its the one which springs to mind first.

So what are your thoughts on only 7 results on the first page of a search? Looks like its only in play for brands at the moment with increased sitelinks for the first result.
I actually really like it, looks a lot better and its easier to take the overall information in on the page.
I hope they role this out onto more generic terms as well. Should mean a higher CTR for those who have 'made it' to the first page.
I suppose Google will pickup on a higher CTR on the ads well.

Can someone please explain how you would manipulate the PR to be higher then it should be?
@Mat so you think the DA/PA value is not something to consider when researching a website? Because that kind of puts me in a hole as I use those metrics to give me a rough overview of how power full a website is.
Just so everyone knows I get these kind of mixed metrics a lot when it comes to researching for guest blogging.
I do really need to know if DA/PA can be trusted as a good indicator a website is good or not (For building links).

This is the optimal structure SEO wise but from a user experience point of view not the best, what kind of problems would interlinking level 2 cause?
Also if level 3 on the left somehow picked up lots of inbound links are you not locking juice into 1 silo?
I have read a little about this and Rand mentions interlinking where relevant to unlock some of this juice and pass it about a little across silos.
But then do you not just end up with what you was trying not to do in the first place?

On this SEOMOZ help page (http://www.seomoz.org/learn-seo/internal-link) the diagram explaining the optimal link structure (image also attached) has me a little confused.
From the homepage, if the bot crawls down the right-hand link first, will it not just hit a dead end where it cant crawl any further and disappear?
OR... will it hit the end of the structure and then crawl backwards to the homepage again and follow down another link and then just repeat the process until all pages are indexed?

Very quick question.
If the DA/PA of a website is 70/80+ I would assume the PR would be 5+.
I have come across this DA/PA 70/80+ and PR 2.
First is the DA/PA not connected in anyway to PR from the metrics they take into account?
Secondly which one would you go for if you had to choose one:
1. DA/PA 60+ and PR 2
2. DA/PA 30+ and PR 4
