New g(TLD) advice needed
Ok, my advice would be a little different from Joey! No matter what the domain is if the link profile is heavy it’s always more powerful as compare to the new domain but as far as my research goes in multiple niches mostly new TLDs are not ranking above .com and other general TLDs and that is why from the business perspective I will go with general TLDs as compare to new TLDs. Again, I see Google give less and less value to on keyword so if the new TLD is more valuable to the business I will go with that too so its always depends upon the situation. Hope this helps!

My PR1 website with no manual action is not appearing in the google top 200 result, it used to be top 1
I agree with Matt, in order to get the advice particular for your situation you need a real pro that look in to your website and backlink profile but here is a general advice. If there is no manual action on your website, it’s a good part in my opinion and you have time to fix things up before Google actually put the manual penalty on it. My advice is to look in to your link profile and see how many bad links you have and separate bad links from the good one and ideally you should disavow all bad links to tell Google that these links have nothing to do with you and you are not looking for a link juice from all the bad websites. The next step is to see what good links you have and get as many relevant and authority links as you can and you will see that the rankings will go up with increase in DA as well. Again, this is a general advice for anything in particular you need to share your URL here! Hope this helps!

Build pages to target keywords, or audiences, or both?
I would look to see if the happy medium could be in the way "Calls to Action" are used within the pages of the site. This way by introducing "signals" it indicates to the end user, that they can see the quality, experience the company and also enquire or buy. I imagine what you really want is an advertorial style site with Showcasing projects, products, call to action at the end or sprinkled amoungst the narrative. Hope this is food for thought Bruce

Footer links on my site... bad for passing page rank?
It is very likely that Google does discount the weight of links passing value in the footer (or sidebar). I would say if you're only linking internal links in the footer just do so naturally and without overoptimised anchor text you should be fine. Where people get in trouble is if they're really trying to do "PR sculpting" (see: http://www.seoblog.com/2014/07/attempting-pagerank-sculpting-terrible-idea/) Do what works best for your users and your site. That should be priority #1 anyways and you will be ok from there.

SEO Question re: Keyword Cannibalization
Well, I will certainly look into that. Really though, just in the meantime, I'm very curious if someone could at least make a call as to which of these two procedures works better - Find a way to SEO optimize 20 variations of similar pages covering a similar topic (but different enough that all 20 need to stay) - SEO optimize each of the 20 pages for the same keyword I have searched everywhere, I cannot find a cogent answer as to whether cannibalization would happen in option 2, or if it would pretty much work (although again, your idea is way better, I'm not suggesting my procedure would work nearly as well)

Advanced Hreflang !
Hi Kezzi: If the the utm pages (which are duplicates of the original page) have self-referencing canonical tags, won't they still be duplicates of the original page? For example, let's say we have: example.com/ and example.com/utm_source=tpi All these pages have hrelfang, but the pages with utm are duplicates of the original, so I would assume that we need to have example.com/utm_source=tpi have a canonical tag pointing to example.com/ In addition, example.com/nl/utm_source=tpi would have a canonical tag pointing to example.com/nl/ Thanks!

Client YouTube Channel does not appear in Open Site Explorer?
Baron, I believe what Michael meant (correct me if I'm wrong Michael), is that OSE runs off of Moz's crawler. If there crawler hasn't come across your YT and G+ pages, then they wouldn't have picked up the links to your site from those pages either. Either way, I assure you that Google knows about those links due to their more robust crawling ability and the fact that they own both of those products

Linking Root Domains www and non-www
Thanks. Our domain has been set to www since it launched last year in GWT. That is fine and working as it should. Hopefully some of these guys will be willing to change to add the www.

Is there any benefit of having a .tv tld instead of a .com for a video centric website?
Google itself bought the exclusive rights to the .app TLD so there's that in the custom TLD column, but like you and others say here, .tv isn't one like that.

First click free
This is mostly a Google News implementation as discussed here: https://support.google.com/news/publisher/answer/40543, and could be tricky to make effective within real estate listings. Is your coverage of the market so complete that people have to view your site? Or could they easily find an alternative?

MozLocal Listing Results
Depends on the date you submit and also how quickly you plan on doing the leg work to correct duplicates and other issues you will run into with your existing listings. In my most recent experience, I think it was like 6 weeks.

Clarification around 301 redirects.
Thanks for your reply Monica. The blog is a landing page where the separate blog posts were listed, which is what I think you are suggesting so I'll go ahead and recommend that we do the re-directs to the corresponding page. Thank you all for your replies - it's helped to get my thinking right

Enhancing SEO Between WordPress Blog and Company Website
Joey, Thanks for your response. To answer your questions, the blog has a totally different URL. However, as I mentioned, a snippet of each entry is embedded into a page on our website, followed by a "read more" link that directs the viewer to our separate blog. As far as integration, I agree that it seems like the best choice here. However, I'm fairly new to this and don't have full control of the final changes made to the website, blog, etc. To my knowledge, our decision to host separately in the first place was because we wanted the ability to individually share/publish posts via LinkedIn. Again, thanks for your feedback. It is much appreciated! Lauren
