Is there any benefit to removing brand name from the title tag?
I know this question is answered already but my 2c based on what we've changed about our onsites. If your brand name includes a main keyphrase, we typically don't include it on every page. You basically end up "competing" with yourself for that keyphrase. There's no point having: Syracuse Wedding Photographers | MyCompany Photography and using that brand bit on every single page. You're over-telling Google that the page is photo related. (Photographers in general have this issue but it applies to MyCompany Plumbing and MyCompany Iphone Repair too.)

Migrating Youtube Channels
The official Youtube take on it is here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/2404846 Unfortunately, you can’t merge or link separate YouTube channels. Similarly, you can’t transfer data from one channel to another (this includes videos). However, you can download your videos from your own channel. Once you've downloaded your video, you can re-upload it to a different channel. View count and other statistics will start over for the new upload. That's the official version.

Finding blog ideas and syndication
OK, what is your goal for the different articles? i.e. social sharing, ranking for particular keywords, attracting links, or something else? Once you know the goal of particular articles you can think about how to write them to achieve those goals (noting you may want to do all the goals suggested above, just focus on one goal per article). So lets go through some suggested titles: Social sharing: 10 Pieces of Furniture you couldn't do without. No. 7 will blow your mind! Keyword ranking (more natural traffic) - How to clean red wine off your settee. Links - More detailed articles that go in more depth than the other articles, often helpful but could involve ideas from the other articles so something like - "How to know you are paying the right price for your furniture" Whatever you do when ranking for keywords, is check out the competition and make sure your article is better, so looks nice, contains better information, and is more helpful. For more ideas, just check out what your competition is writing about, and take some ideas and just make the articles 10 times better bringing in more \ different concepts and information so it is totally original.

404 issues involving Yelp
Hi Sarah. In the bottom right hand corner of this page: http://silodistillery.com/tag/windsor/ you have a list of social icons. The Yelp one contains the link to the 404 page. Cheers!

Removed Subdomain Sites Still in Google Index
Right. I get that they don't exist on your site currently, but when they did Google indexed them so they exist in some form within Google, but Google had never been told they had permanently moved (via 301). The good news is that you don't have to resurrect the entire site. You can simply modify the appropriate file (htaccess if you're on Apache, IIS if Window's server) and make certain that Google knows any page it's looking for at devsite.yoursite.com is now at www.correcturl.com. Cheers!

Google and responsive content in display:none CSS
Hi Ashley, To clarify, this is just a section of the page, right? The page will still have essentially the same information for both mobile and desktop users, but tailored to their devices? It's fine to remove or change up inconsequential elements of the page. Webmasters have had to do this from the start, for ads, complicated navigation, and other page elements that are helpful on a desktop page but cluttered on a phone screen. If this content is the majority of the page, though, and sends a different message, you should probably create a separate page for mobile visitors. If this is the case, let me know and I can follow up with more specific recommendations. Good luck! Kristina

Cart Abandonment Solutions?
I agree with Hutch re-targeting/re-marketing does help, we tried adwords/facebook/adroll/criteo depending on your target CPA some maybe out of question, in my experience the cheapest is adwords, but it doesn't have the largest reach. Based on my little experience I am also very much skeptical about all those cart abandonment packaged solutions, the real improvement is negligeable. In my experience A/B testing like mad (ux, copy, discount, exit popup, etc...) is what really bring double digit improvements. But I do agree with Ryan, a professional CRO company (like http://www.conversion-rate-experts.com/ seems to be, but I never tried their services) would probably help identify what to test and shorten the time required to get results.

.ca for Canada-specific business currently using .com?
Thank you for all your suggestions. Does anyone know how well a domain's authority can be passed to another in case you decide to switch TLD after having been using one for years? Is it like in the case of 301 re-directs, you lose a bit but not that much, or are you essentially starting over with Google? Thanks, Taira

Web Page Dropped Out of Google?
From what I see, duplicate content has replaced it. The only question is whether it's yours or not. A search for "It is possible to pay for the cover personally from your net income in which case benefits in payment are tax free." shows this page: http://bit.ly/1DnKp1S See how Google only shows one then gives you the "repeat the search" link? They're only showing one version and it's not the one you linked above. It looks like you have duplicate content here as well: http://www.contractorfinancials.com/protection/ And here: http://www.freelancermoney.co.uk/income-protection.php So Google used to rank one but has chosen another to rank now. You seem to have a LOT of sites up and lots of duplicate content not sorted out very well. I didn't dig far enough to see if you own all these sites but the logos & colours are very similar and duplicate so I assume you do.

Getting different search queries in Google Webmaster
Hi, You're site is not the only one - there seem quite a bit sites which redirect to these fake e-shops. Most likely the cause of this problem is a vulnerability issue with the slider on your site - check these links: http://wptavern.com/100000-wordpress-sites-compromised-using-the-slider-revolution-security-vulnerability & http://wptavern.com/critical-security-vulnerability-found-in-wordpress-slider-revolution-plugin-immediate-update-advised I noticed you already installed sitelock which is a good thing. You should however also block access to pages like yourdomain/wp-content/themes/maya/inc/admin_scripts/ . Also check that Wordpress is up-to-date (as well as the other plugins you are using), change all your passwords on the server (also change your email passwords). If needed, get professional assistance to help you out of this mess, especially if you're not technically skilled. It's quite important that you now delete all the external content on your site. Don't postpone this - the brand owner could file a spam report, or even take legal actions (one of the url's your site is redirecting to seems to be a phishing site of canada-goose.com - http://www.jackenoutletde.org/login.html This case is quite similar to this one http://moz.com/community/q/chinese-site-ranking-for-our-brand-name-possible-hack - but the roles are different - this question is from a site owner which didn't rank for it's own brand name because of hacking issues (which would be Canada Goose in your case) rgds, Dirk PS you'll find a Belgian IP address in your sitelock logs - that's me, not the hacker

Do only paid adwords appear in google shopping
I totally agree. The conversion on my campaign is sick! Mainly because we always appear cheaper next to the big box stores, they have to charge sales tax and shipping, we don't. It definitely is worth every penny and every minute of time it takes to manage it.

Does backlinks in images equal naked backlinks?
Hi Eslam. A link via an image is perfectly acceptable especially if they're natural links. Some sites will tend to have an abundance of these if they're things like images sharing sites, online comics, meme generators, etc. And many of these sites do perfectly well with a high percentage of image links. The bigger concern is that the site isn't spammy, see Moz's new tool that's part of OSE: http://moz.com/blog/spam-score-mozs-new-metric-to-measure-penalization-risk and http://moz.com/blog/understanding-and-applying-mozs-spam-score-metric-whiteboard-friday Cheers!
