Training Course for Apps Analytics (Acquisition, In App and Uninstall)
Hi there Google provides quite a few resources to help with app analytics. I recommend checking out their Mobile Apps walkthrough so that you can get a deeper understanding of the opportunities and best practices there. I would also take a look at the Mobile App Analytics Fundamentals course provided by Google as there is a ton of great information there as well. AppsFlyer has a Knowledge Base section that is rather comprehensive. So does MAT. Hope this helps a bit! Good luck!

Dynamic content in meta tag
Hi there Honestly, I wouldn't do this. Meta descriptions should be used as a way to entice your users to click through to the site - it's essentially your sales pitch. It's not a ranking factor though, so these numbers won't affect your ranking. However, the way you're trying to set up your meta descriptions right now, they aren't really telling the user anything except a bunch of digits and stats that don't necessarily make them click through. You could try... "With over 2 million hosted websites and a 99% uptime, ______ is the most efficient & easy to use hosting provider on the market." Something along those lines. Remember - while your numbers could be changing daily, that doesn't necessarily mean search engines are crawling your site to update the description in the SERPs. This is just my opinion. Hope it helps! Good luck!

How to check competitors' strengths/weaknesses?
Landon Patrick has answered the primary question above. We do alot of work on competitors strengths and weaknesses. My primary job is to take clicks away from competitors. Not that hard. The best overall tool I believe is www.similarweb.com - though not 100% accurate is comparatively accurate. Semrush useful, I also like Alexa - and the new Moz product in reviewing links and status of same. In Semrush you need to go to the domain v domain sub heading. The graphs & spreadsheets is a beautiful and easy way to interpret where you sit on keyword status with competitors. On similiarweb - I look at overall traffic, where a competitor is getting traffic from. The referral tab is gold. You can really understand a business and how they are run, by using a combination of the tools above and referring the link Patrick has sent through. Let me know if any questions.

How is Moz's DA score so high?
Hi there First, here is where you can read about how Domain Authority is calculated. Second, Moz is a highly respected business/website with tons of great backlinks and mentions all over the web - I highly doubt they are inflating their own numbers in this case. Given the industries, I can see Squarespace / Priceline & Airbnb having lower DA - there tends to be quite a bit of spam in those industries - traveling sites and CMS/blogging platforms. Moz & Salesforce are neck and neck however and I would expect this because again, they are both highly regarded and a lot of people use & trust them. Not saying that's not true for the other sites but again, I want to say this is more industry related. Hope this helps - good luck!

How is the Moz keyword limit for each plan determined?
Thanks (again)! I have one campaign that has 175 keywords in Keyword Rankings, and I'd like to trim 25-50 of those out. What is the smart way to do that? Should I download all the keywords, delete them from Moz, eliminate those that I don't want in my Excel spreadsheet, then upload the remaining ones again? Is there a way to do this within the Moz interface, rather than downloading? If I do delete and reload, won't I lose the history that has accumulated with those kw's? Mike

Two websites (Domains) with same content for more than 4 years which one to choose now?
Teresita, The first thing I looked at was the approximate volume of content indexed in Google for each domain. site:http://radiocolombiainternacional.com/web/ shows 403 results. site:http://radiocolombiainternacional.com/ shows 470 results. site:http://radiocolombia.com.co/ shows 127 results. While the "site:domain" check only offers an approximation, its a starting point to evaluate how Google sees each site. An important question to ask then is "What is the real, actual count of pages for each domain?" If it's on the higher end (close to 400 pages) for both radiocolombiainternacional and radiocolombia then Google APPEARS to be giving much more trust to content on radiocolombiainternacional. If that is true, that's what I would go with - its an indicator that radiocolombiainternacional has a stronger foundation in Google's perspective. If you have site analytics available for both, that's another path to dive into to get even more information and data that may or may not support that concept though. Just because a site has more pages indexed in Google doesn't itself mean that site is getting more quality traffic. Another consideration is inbound "follow" links. What is the total count pointing to each? Using OpenSiteExplorer, radiocolombia.com.co has more inbound links, and what appears to be a stronger internal linking structure as well. So that conflicts with the Google page indexed count. Except neither site has very many inbound links at all (a serious challenge that needs to be addressed whichever site you end up with). Because of these factors, I'd need to see more information about each site regarding inbound links, actual page count, etc. Since you say they've got the exact same content, I assume they're on the same programming framework so the technical factor is less of a comparison issue. When I visit the home page for each, they do look identical, so that reinforces the notion that technical factors are going to need to be considered.

How to redirect 302 status to 301 status code using wordpress
Actually, if you already have 302 redirects in place, you're going to have to find the source of those 302s and change those to 301s, Joel. Simply adding an extra 301 redirect via a plugin is not going to fix your issue. If you don't already have a plugin in place that is creating the 302 redirects, they are almost certainly being set in the htaccess file and must be corrected there. Paul

My current SEO plan
Ok, so going forward if I let's say, profile a local lawyer on each local page, or a few local lawyers is that ok? Can I still title it Find a Lawyer Brampton, Find a Lawyer Mississauga, Find a Lawyer Stratford, if it is more unique from page to page? Let me know, thanks. Rafe

Yoast focus keywords for portfolio post types in WordPress
Hi there Testimonials are great - they help build trust in your brand and work from a user standpoint, and can also help bring in search traffic by mentioning specific development, design, or industry elements in their critique. You can also use these testimonials to develop case study or white paper content to showcase more benefits of using your business or your competition. Hope this helps - good luck!

Numbers in URL
The reference uses the words "Consider" and "when possible", which is not as clear as other suggestions Google make. Instructions are crystal clear for other on-page techniques, such as hreflang. As a power user who works with clients in multiple languages, I frequently switch between languages using the URL, like going from https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/76329?hl=**en** to https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/76329?hl=**fr**. This wouldn't be possible if the URL was https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/keep-a-simple-url-structure. For this particular use, I would argue the former are more "user-friendly" than the latter! More and more the URL is becoming a relic of the past. Sitename and Breadcrumbs are replacing it in SERPs. Browsers on mobile hide it by default. There is no URL bar in recent in-app browsers (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn). On the hand, it has been said in the past that keywords in URLs help search engines understand the context of a link when there is no anchor text. A few things to consider: The need to create 301 redirects and the risk of losing trafic The impact on on-site SEO (hreflang, canonicals, sitemaps, internal links, etc.) The qualitative impact (do your users expect this feature? do visitors expect this feature?) Most importantly, the fact that it's probably a low priority optimization! If at all possible, consider running an experiment. Hope this helps! I left out a clear answer on purpose - because I don't have one.

Is Brand name anchor text on a widget Spam
Thank you Tom - I like it - if in doubt, take it out. We will contact the businesses with the widget and ask them to remove. If we can't get hold of them, do you think disavow will be satisfactory before filing a reconsideration? Additionally, I have read recently there is an option to remove URLs from within WMT (a section called "optimisation.") But I cannot see this - and wonder if I have misunderstand.. (It looks to me the only section in WMT regarding link removal is an option to remove pages from within your own website from the index?) Is there a section in WMT to remove inbound links from third party websites? Thanks indeed for your help
