Strange rankings on new website
Another strange (frustrating!) thing is that there are other websites with little content, few links and a low Moz rank who outrank me for locational based terms i.e: "advanced driving courses london" "advanced driving courses berkshire" "advanced driving courses cheshire".... We all offer these courses around the UK, but Google doesn't "get" my site does this - I have even created a locational page search accessible from the homepage....

A campaign ghost keeps returning to my Google Analytics - Help!
Thanks Kristina, I set-up the filter in the following way: Filter type - Custom Search and Replace Filter field - Campaign name Search string - 'nameofmycampaignimremoving' Replace string - I figured by adding in the campaign name but not replacing it with anything, Google Analytics should now pick this traffic up as direct. The campaign is no longer showing in my traffic, so I assumed it's worked. Is there a better way of doing this? Sam

Removing duplicated content using only the NOINDEX in large scale (80% of the website).
it has been almost a year now from the massive hit. after that, there were also some smaller hits we are putting effort into improvements. that is quite frustrating for me, because I believe that our effort is demolished by old duplicated content (that creates 80% of the website :-)) Yeah, we will need to take care about the link-mess... Thank you!

Sitelinks to Sister Companies
Thank you both for the responses. The links aren't there for SEO value, more for business purposes but I'm mindful of any negative affects from Google.

I'll look in to confirming ownership of the redirected domains just to make sure everything's above board!

Several 301 Redirects to Same Page
@Umar: Thank you. Url D is related to A/B/C in the sense that D contains all of our products, and A, B and C are (were) product categories. So url D somehow contains the three of them. @Moosa: Yes that's the case. Url A, B and C will find what they are looking for inside url D (they just will have to look a bit more for it). And A, B and C links are clean. I do have some external links pointing to A, B and C, will change them accordingly to D. Thank you both, that helps. Will 301 Redirect these pages. Also, what about adding up link SEO juices? Cheers,

On Page Grader inconsistent
Hi Again Most of the other things are ticked and all good, but my question is why is it that that title tag holds that much weight that everything can be ticked in some cases excluding 2 things and the keyword not mentioned in the title tag and still receive an F grade then as soon as I use the keyword phrase in the title tag it goes from an F to an A instantly. Why is it that there seems to be no consideration for B, C, D and E given that some of the phrases have everything else checked off basically. Thanks again

Website server errors
I've been spending time fighting other fires since posting this question. Yesterday when WP automatically updated it crashed my site. I determined it was related to woo commerce...not good since most of my site is in the product categories & product pages of woo. I spent all night an today on it and got my site working. I read this forum which helped a lot https://wordpress.org/support/topic/wordpress-https-conflicts-with-woocommerce?replies=4 When I turned off the force SSL button the site came back online. In working with dream host support I learned this I'm the WP expert! We've heard rumblings of a strange issue in Woo where that setting is forcing http redirects outside of the checkout page, which is causing Woo and core WP to send you back and forth between http and https when the siteurl is set to https. _Since https://www.cheaptubes.com is set for your home AND site urls, there shouldn't need to be a force of SSL. That is, WordPress already knows it's SSL, and therefore you shouldn't need to be forcing it on those pages. _ I then received new crawl from Moz saying I now only have 9 errors, not 600. I am recrawling to verify its fixed but I think it is now. If anyone else ever has this issue, try unchecking the Force SSL button

Location in URLs question
Hi, I do not think it will hurt your SEO as the primary city of the story is "Denver" and it's ranking well there. You can put up a small editorial note on the top like Moz does to show people it is primarily related to Denver and how it applies to other cities or you can use cities breadcrumbs in URLs. Hope this helps! Umar

Keyword Ranking History Chart
There are two or more different URLs on the same website competing against each other for that search query. If you hover over them or scroll down you can see which of the URLs they are. Trouble is, since they are competing against each other, it may be harder to climb the ranks as Google is getting confused and doesn't know which one to rank. Better to have one single URL with content optimised to target the search topic and keywords, as it relieves Google of having to make the choice and ultimately... screwing it up.

I have two Facebook Pages connected to the same website. Is there a way to tell in Google Analytics which Facebook Page is responsible for what referral traffic?
Here is the link to the page which explains the URL parameters you can use. It also has a form generator to help you create your tracked links. URL Builder Set your campaign source to be either one of your FB pages to help differentiate them.
