Remove a page after redirection
Hi Tormar, That's really up to you, as that page will no longer have an effect on your search results or your site. If you'd like to save some server space or keep your directories tidy, feel free to remove the original page once you've got the 301 in place. And if this is permanent, definitely,_ definitely _use a 301 over a 302.

Indexed by Google but only ranking in Bing and Yahoo
Thank you! I have a question related to what you've posted here. I saw that my landing page report in Moz said that I had received traffic to a very strange page: how.to.travel.and.make.42023834.money.online.for.free.with.maps.ilovevitaly.com It has absolutely nothing to do with my site (www.drugjustice.com). I couldn't find it anywhere until I followed your instructions and found it under Hostname. Is there any way to get rid of it? Is it hurting my SEO? I also have a russian site (the address is all in Cyrillic) that I'd like to ditch. I have some traffic going to a hostname "not set." Is there anything I can do to fix that? Thanks so much!

Yext Listings: Why don't I see new inbound links?
You most likely won't see any new links from Yext because they use a URL redirect on all sites they control. Check the live listings an confirm. If you're using Yext for link building/gaining do-follow links on directories... It's probably best to consider alternative options. Most of the links to your website from those directories will actually pass through a redirect set up by Yext, then land you at the final destination (your website). One benefit of that redirect is so they can track click data in your Yext dashboard. I could be wrong, but you should check and see if you're seeing any new links from a Yext subdomain. I haven't used Yext in a while, but I remember seeing a redirect for past clients (when I was working in an agency. That might be worth checking out. Either way, you should have reporting in your Yext dashboard on all the listings that are live. Once again I'll stress that you should not be using Yext simply for building links.

Trying to rank my personal business website
my best advice for you is to go through Moz's Beginners guide to SEO and ask questions in QnA if you didn't understand anything and you will get the basics of everything and then you can move ahead step by step. Hope this helps!

Has anybody ever seen (or written) a case study on increasing domain authority?
Good luck with that! And i will share one little secret. If you need to grow from 40 to 60 you need links from domains with DA above 70. Because that domains will be counted higher for growing. As i said before how you get them is another story. PS: I may sound little bit rude but i'm faced similar problems and i working to get links, traffic grows. Meanwhile DA falling. Strange world.

Passing Juice through Multiple Locations
Hi Meier, I so urge you to take EGOL's advice as gold - he is legendary in his knowledge. The scenario you are describing with the PBN is not something that sounds safe or natural to either of us - so, this is your Moz squad talking here It might help you to put yourself in a user's shoes. Does it actually benefit you, if you're looking for key grinding or to get let into your locked car to be thinking about pressure washing at that moment? No. There is no natural relationship there. Do you want to go, via a link, from a pressure washing site to a locksmith site or vice versa? No. There is simply no relationship there. I also want to raise the issue here that the locksmith industry is one of the most notorious for its history of spam problems in the localsphere. Anything you do for clients in this industry is going to be in an atmosphere of heightened scrutiny (particularly at Google) and so a profile of unrelated, unnatural links would be just the sort of thing they'd be looking for to bring down the hammer. So, please exercise caution here!

Is getting views to an infographic through Imgur beneficial to SEO?
Hi Matt, To answer your question directly, yes you will see an SEO benefit from that in the form of brand recognition and potential referral traffic. As for ranking improvements though (what many wrongly define as "SEO Benefit"), no. You've already raised the biggest concern which is posting a link directly to your site which can have a very spammy feel to it. Particularly if you push too hard and actually start to spam, you run the risk of getting picked up by /r/hailcorporate which pretty much marks the death of your brand on Reddit! As with most things in SEO, if you're offering a truly valuable resource in the right way, there are only positives to be had from it, albeit indirect in this case.

Renamed a page and created a 301, page lost its rankings.
Thanks fellas for the replies. After a week and a half the rankigns came back and we actually moved up one spot. Essentially i removed 301's that were very old and were giving google 3 jumps to the new page (meaning there were mulitple old pages that redirected in order of history to the newest one). I also 301d all the old pages to the new page. We also re-enabled a page that was the parent directory of this page (this page linked to the page in question)and had about 150 links (orignally 301d to another page). Thanks

Local Reviews.
Yeah, Google used to scrape Yelp but was under investigation by the FTC for doing so. I don't think they still do though some of the older data (like 2011, 2012) may still be there. I can't imagine they're still doing it.
