  • Hey Alan It sounds like you are  saying that you have some old pages/urls from a website that you own and they have some external links pointing to them and you would like your site to be able to make use of any link juice coming from them.  (Makes me think of old websites/domains I bought back in the day.) The way this is usually done is via a 301 redirect from the old page (that the external links are pointing to) to the current live page on your site that you would like to be the recipient of said link juice. Most hosts have an easy way to do this on their dashboard. Just wondering--why can't you see in your analytics if your site already is getting traffic from those pages/links? Caveats: If the content of the pages that contain those external links is not relevant to the pages on your site that the links will be 301'd to, the link juice will be of little or no value to your page's organic ranking.  Also, Google, being a domain registrar itself, will be able to see if you are the owner of a site or network of  sites with a bunch of links going between them.  I'd definitely recommend spending some time with  Moz's beginners guide to SEO so to get a good lay of the land SEO-wise-speaking.

  • Why not google rank your site. If you do proper on-page and off-page. Of course, Google will rank you.  Your content should not only unique but also Userfriendly and never use spinner tools. If you have decided to start an affiliate site.  One thing remembers in your mind, Google takes time to rank your site.  So be patient.  As an example, you can visit this site.

  • HI, I don't know if it would make a huge difference in how google will understand the site but it is not a 'normal' setup as per documentation: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en If the site does not have different regional variation pages of english (UK vs USA for example) then there is no need to double up hreflang markup with regional notation. You just need the hreflang='en' and it is good for all english language searches regardless of location. Same goes for all the languages. Personally I would remove the extra regional tags to avoid confusion and keep things as simple as possible.

  • Hi Hasanovic, What's your estimate of the strength of the domains that are copying your content?   In other words, are they coming up in search results for relevant queries ahead of you? Are they coming up ahead of you for phrases in quotes?  The point I'm getting at  is --how sure are you that you are seeing a negative impact from this? I  ask because Google is quite good at knowing what content goes up before other content and there may not be any impact to your site at all.  Google is also quite good at knowing when content on a site is copied from another. If there are 15 sites all using the same copy stolen from you Google will have a hard time ranking those sites above sites with original content--unless those site have substantial domain authority. If you are sure of the negative impact, then be sure you are requesting indexation of new content when it goes live and work on developing the strength of your pages and your domain.

  • Hi Aspirant. these hyphens assume a significant job with regards to rank that particular watchword prefers in the event that you do it as such 'nderarmourfire-basketball shoe' google will search for basketball shoe catchphrase to rank rather than basketball shoes. Much the same as you see here best boxing gloves kept all the permalinks with hyphens and they are positioning. SO I will propose you to do something very similar to your site in the event that you need to up your positioning. On the off chance that you need further recommendations, you are welcome!

  • I know I was penalized because search console recorded an overnight drop in impressions/clicks of 75%. Never was a problem before. I didn't need to run Screaming Frog or anything to find links that explain the problem. I just browsed some of the user generated content and then once I realized that Google was crawling javascript generated links it all made sense. Some of the sites people were liking to included: CheaterLand.com, PredatorsWatch.com, DirtyHomeWreckers.com, EscortBabylon.net, SugarDaddyforMe.com, GFEMonkey.com, EscortBabylon.com, CityXGuide.com, and AdultLook.com. I think as long as Google respects the robots.txt directives I should be just fine. The redirect page itself is blocked by robots.txt so even if Google finds one of those URLs (ex: https://cyberbullyingreport.com/redirect/?url=https://moz.com/community/q/changing-links-to-spans-with-robots-txt-blocked-redirects-using-linkify-jquery) it shouldn't even follow the 302 since the robots.txt file (https://cyberbullyingreport.com/robots.txt) disallows that directory.

  • As a user, there are certainly times it's helpful to have the browser tab text, especially if I have a few tabs open on a single site and want to distinguish between them quickly. From a search engine's standpoint, I don't see why this wouldn't be one more piece of possibly useful information. However, as you pointed out, if the user happens to have one window open with dozens of tabs, then each individual tab is so skinny which results in only the brand favicon/icon as important.
