What is the Good URL structure for Blog posts
Is there a good way to avoid it on for a blog that's part of a larger site, (the whole site isn't a blog - and couldn't be powered by a blog CMS like WP - but we have a blog, currently on a subdomain)?

Homepage outranking subpage for main keyword, but subpage is more optimized for the keyword.
I know I'm a little late to the game but one suggestion I would recommend reading your post is to take the synonym out of your page title on your home page. For example, I work with a lot of attorneys and if I create separate pages for "lawyer" and "attorney", I never get the respective targeted traffic ... google just ranks the more optimized, higher PA page for both terms.

How to change URL structure in google webmasters
Hi there When I access your sitemap at http://www.guitarcontrol.com/sitemap.xml, you'll see it hasn't been updated since 2010. These old URLs point to an old site as well. I would definitely update this! You'll need to create a new sitemap XML, upload it to your site, and then resubmit it to Google and Bing. You can learn more on how to create one here. Let me know if you need anymore help!

Is there a tool that can give you demographic info on keywords?
I did a quick search and it appears this question was asked in the Q & A section a little while ago but here are a few resources I found. Google has a tool called shopping insights which will give you some more geographical keyword information. Also there is another tool called Follow that has a free plan which should allow you to get some demographic insights into keywords. Here is the original question asked on Moz back in 2014. Hope this helps you out some.

One robots.txt file for multiple sites?
Hi Rena. Yes, if both sites are separate domains that you want to use in different ways, then you should place a different robots.txt file in each domain root so that they're accessible at xyz.com/robots.txt and abc.com/robots.txt. Cheers!

Webmaster tools Hentry showing pages that don't exist
Without more information or a site to look through, I did a cursory search of Hentry issues that could be the cause of your problem and the potential fixes. https://www.acceleratormarketing.com/trench-report/google-analytics-errors-and-structured-data/ https://remaintenance.io/blog/2015/05/fix-hentry-errors/

Moz Point Swag
Hi Mike! Our Community Manager goes through and manually reviews mozPoints about once a month, but the process timeline is not set in stone and it's all dependent on that manual review. As the mozPoints page mentions, these points are accrued for being a great Moz community member! It's fun, it builds a sense of community, and it encourages participation. It also helps those of us who author content for the blog to know whether our posts are valuable and/or interesting to our readers. You can read more about mozPoints here in case you haven't read this before: https://moz.com/community/mozpoints Someday we'll automate this process but until then, just keep an eye out and we'll get you that access as soon as we can. See you around the community and have a great day! Thank you, Kevin Help Team

Does traditional linkbuilding work to rank an app in the app store?
Hi Gaston, As far as I'm aware, inbound links are not a direct ranking factor in the app store rankings. That said, as Eric mentions, links can impact things we do know are factors, such as downloads. So rather than focus on links as a metric, you're better off focusing on driving downloads and reviews, for which links from other places might be a channel, as we know these are direct factors for ASO.

New ecommerce site: Close old site and full domain redirect or keep it linking to new site?
The biggest decision here is whether or not you want to continue to maintain two separate websites--or if it's better to spend your time building one brand and concentrating on one website. When it comes to links, Domain Authority, and Page Authority, you can easily 301 redirect the old site to the new one--so that really shouldn't be a concern. It's the overall decision of maintaining and building two sites and two brands--rather than one.

Traffic going down in all sites in a niche
Hi Bob. Are these sites duplicating themselves in the same niche? It sounds like you have one main site, and two that are secondary to that. Is that the case? There's a lot that goes into a decision like this, but it may be that the multi-site approach is diluting your brand. If all three sites have their own distinct voice, social media interactions, branding, design, and so on, then keeping all three as separate entities and addressing the issues within each would be fine. On the other hand, if the other two sites serve as doorway and paid link portals pointing towards the main site, you should really consider making the one main site the best resource and store within the niche. Broadly, the traffic increase options are standard: paid advertising where applicable or ROI appropriate, funnel improvements which pay dividends when traffic increases, improved rankings, link garnering content, and so on. A classic blog post by Oli Gardner on the subject is here: https://moz.com/blog/the-noob-guide-to-online-marketing-with-giant-infographic-11928 Cheers!

Will hreflang indication help single language site?
Are there any major cons to include the hreflang attribute if there isn't a translated version? My site has some pages that are translated, which we include proper hreflang tags, but some pages that do not currently have a translated page. It sounds like it would take more work to remove the tags on those pages without a translated version than to keep it. Will this cause major issues with Google?

Besides description and design optimization, is there any other main factor that we can influence to get better App Store rankings?
Hi Bridget, Yeap, I do know that those points are straightforward. I was just wondering about any factors that could be taken into action, such as links or social media. Speacking of wich, I've found an article, https://www.semrush.com/blog/13-essential-key-strategies-for-ranking-mobile-apps-in-app-stores-and-landing-pages/ that speaks about linkbuilding. Of course Linkbuilding is not the main reason to get better rankings, but as it says, help to improve SERPs.

Which software for Play Store rakings do you use?
Hi Gaston, In the past I've used MobileDevHQ (now called TUNE) and AppAnnie. MDHQ used to be free I believe, but now is a paid tool. AppAnnie is a paid tool but there are some functionalities available for a free account I think so they may be worth checking out depending on what you need.
