  • Hi Francis, They should be different sessions, they could be the same type of device or even the same device used in a different way. There is also a report which will tell you exactly what devices were used, which might be helpful.

  • Hi there, Thank you for your answer, but its too slow and we are purchasing the MOZ product to keep tracking on our SEO performance. Hence, if it does take two months for you to update our data, how can we revise or adjust our SEO strategy to compete in the market? Some other tools is already index us. If it takes that slow to index our page when we buy your product, we will have to consider using MOZ. I have to say that. Kind regards, zita

  • Hi there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. If you've already marked that duplicate to request removal, you've taken all the necessary steps toward closing the duplicate. Now it's just a matter of waiting for our partners to accept our data submission and correct the information they're displaying. Unfortunately, there's not a lot we can do to speed them up on that front. For now, your best bet is to wait it out - it could take anywhere from a week to a month or more for our partners to accept our changes. I know that's not an ideal timeframe, but we're at the mercy of the data submission process. If you're concerned about how long the update is taking, you can always write in to help@moz.com and ask us to take a look for you.

  • Thanks Lisa! To elaborate, NAP changes (name, address, phone, website) must be made through our verification partners, which are Google and Facebook. These are sources we use to verify the quality of the location data submitted to Moz Local. You can see which verification partner a business location is using right in the dashboard as seen here. Once the change is made on Google or Facebook, Moz Local will automatically detect the change and resubmit the corrected information to our partners. Non-NAP changes (social links, images, etc) can be submitted through the Moz Local dashboard. If you're not making any changes, then there's no need to resubmit since all data is re-submitted to our partners every 1-2 weeks, automatically. You can verify this by looking at the accuracy metrics in your dashboard. To be extra thorough, if you're making a change to your NAP, you can add the old business information to the "alternates" feature in the duplicates section. Though we will push the corrected listing information to all of our partners, this can be a way to be extra sure your old NAP information isn't popping up as a duplicate elsewhere online. Hope this helps!

  • Hi Greg, As Moz's Open Site Explorer (like most other link indexing tools) crawls sites independently to discover links pointing back to your site, there is often disparity between the numbers reported between of them and with what Google reports in Search Console. That being said, Moz will likely find these links eventually, they just may be in the queue for indexing, or were not present the last time Moz visited those site's pages. Thanks, Jake

  • There are reasons for either. With relative paths (1) you can change your root domain without messing up your structure. (Like moving from a dev environment.) However, there are arguments to be made for the absolute path (2) including avoiding wholesale scraping and possible domain confusion (http://site.com vs https://site.com vs http://www.site.com vs https://www.site.com). Check with your developers and see what they say.

  • Hi Ira, Yes, I think if you can go through a service that manages YP listings, it might be worth it. I see you've started a new thread about Synup. Popping over there.

  • Google might consider this to be a "link scheme".... One part of their definition of a link scheme is.... "Widely distributed links in the footers or templates of various sites..."     You can read their full document on link schemes here... https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/66356?hl=en If the "seals" have a link in them with nofollow then they will not be considered to be manipulative.

  • Hey Ian, So sorry for any trouble generating your credentials! Unfortunately, we had a series of outages this week that were likely the culprit here. It looks like you were able to successfully get your key up and runnin' by now, but let me know if there's anything else you need help with! Cheers
