Follow/nofollow tells Google whether to follow the links on that page, regardless of whether it should index it. Follow is usually safer, because even if it doesn't add the page to Google's index it at least alows Google to follow the links and pass some PageRank around. If a login form is all there is, nofollow would be no problem either, but it can never hurt to have Google follow the links to other sections of your website. The only time I use nofollow in combination with noindex if it's a page that links out a lot (like the almost obligatory 'Friends' or similar linking pages). Those pages I don't want to index AND don't want to pass pagerank through. Anything else: just follow.

Hi Dunamis, I was wondering about the same. If Google sees historical search queries using "Term A" + "Term B" would it associate both the words so strongly.. that even when only one of the search term is being used the others relevance still gets quantifies? Hard to believe Google could be going something like this. Still an open question for now. Let's see if we get any more explanations.

Hi Ryan, I am the site owner and this is the precise reason im trying to take matters into my own hands. <meta name="keywords" content="E60,Rear,lamp,set" /> I see what you mean, because this is actually ridiculous, not quite sure how it got into this state either. Whats that saying, "if you want something done you have to do it yourself" Looks like i have to take a crash course in SEO to sort it all out. Thanks very much for all your help.

Great advice from Matt and Aaron - also make sure you have no duplicates. Two listings for the same business means you lose trust. All the citation stuff Matt is on about is Trust - show Google your listing is for a relevant, functioning business and you will make it in the local results. Also try getting your business listed on the sites recommended on http://getlisted.org/

Hah! Well, yeah, effectively. As I say the linkscape crawl isn't as effective/deep as Google's so you'll need a couple of higher profile links to get picked up. Certainly getting more good links can't hurt

Hi CruiseControl, If you want to see how Google views your website you can download a tool called Lynx, Lynx is a text based browser which is very very similar to how Google's crawler views your website.

I think the link from randomsite.com (PR6 homepage) is more valuable than a link from evenmorerandom.com. Because there toolbar PageRanks are updated at an almost random basis, it is quite possible that randomsite.com inner pages actually have a decent PageRank internally at Google, that is simply not showing up in the toolbar yet. While the same holds true for evenmorerandom.com, there is a slim chance that this page has gone from PR/ to PR6. Comparing the MozRank of these inner pages (which is updated far more frequently) would be far more useful in this situation.

Raven Tools also has a feature that allows you to watch the rankings of keywords. You can also tag events in the results to see what effects certain efforts have on rankings... pretty nice.

Hello Dave, Thanks For the answer. Regarding the max link juice - in my industry top listings are having more than 100 links on site, and we didn't changes the site architecture since a year. We got top positions with this site architecture. however i am changing the site architecture, but it will  not give a sure stable rankings.  I am looking for the stable rankings, plus I am not punished in panda rollout, as i checked my backlinks regularly. One more thing to add, we are getting this kind of penalities or rankng fall down before panda update.. Thanks for the referal traffic point.

Use the SEOmoz toolbar's Analyze button and check the Page Attributes. You may be surprised at how many links your page actually offers.

Thanks for your answers, Yes, i will use a regex because it is much simpler to make one rule for thousands of URLs than to have one specific rule for each URL.

I just wanted to get other SEOs opinion about Localeze.com (Local Directory submission tool) recommended at; http://getlisted.org/enhanced-business-listings.aspx . We paid $3500 to use their system, entered few companies to test. We were very careful to enter proper and recommended NAP and categories. After 5 months, we checked 100 + directories they claim that the listing data would be sent. However only 5% of the places showed our listing. Has anyone used Localeze services? what are your experiences? We feel like we wasted our time and money usin Localeze services.

Have you tried the SEOmoz On-Page Keyword Optimization Tool? You can test your page for all of these terms and get optimization suggestions. I would probably start with that and experiment.
