How do I index these parameter generated pages?
Yea, that's on the list to do. The site is about halfway finished so there is still a lot of errands to take care of such as that. Sitemapping is something I haven't done a lot of in the past so I'm not fully aware of all of it's benefits. So to be clear using that method I can generate a sitemap that will create every possible page that can be generated from those parameters, then they'll be crawled? Is there anything additional I can do to ensure they are crawled? I suppose I could do a writeup of each product over time in our blog and link to them that way.

301 Redirect All Url's - WWW -> HTTP
Rewrite has been up for a few hours now by the way, I'm going to look through the file because I use a branch of Oscommerce and there are a lot of URL appending things and such so there may be something negating the 301 code I was given to do the redirects

Paid search impact on Organic Search traffic - Is it in the positive side or negative side?
John is spot on. The other factor to consider is personalization. When people are in a research mode and visit your site via paid search, they are more likely to have a personalized organic result for your site since they've already visited it. On long sales cycle transactions, this can be a very significant factor!

Re-optimizing onsite SEO, can it hurt?
HMMM??? Good input from both of you, maybe a combination of both. When to do site/index.php? It stands the most to gain and loose at the same time. I'm thinking I should start with all the things that I know are blatantly "wrong" and fix all those things first. There is no way this could hurt anything. Then maybe do some experimenting with the other pages that are currently doing well and see what the results are. Then I should know what works, what doesn't.

Rel="canonical" or text link?
I would try both and see what happens The problem with rel canonical though, is that your not using it as intended and could get caught out or have the link devalued I dont see any problem with a plain text link. personally i would KISS and use the text link As to whether its worth it, it depends how good the linkbait is and how many links/power it gathers. The only way you can know is to try and then see the effect on your rankings. You could certainly get more value than one link out of it though; link out to other articles that link back to your ecom site. When you have this type of powerful 3rd party site, you can then start swapping links from your site in return for links from theirs to your ecommerce site

Placing video testimonials on website vs. YouTube
My memory is a bit vague here but it should put you in the right direction. When you choose to embed videos there should be an option for "play related videos" or something similar. Make sure to not select that box. It should add a parameter to the URL along the lines of "&rel=0". For advertising, if you are a YouTube partner channel, then you can disable ads on any of your videos. Otherwise, as long as you do not include any copyrighted material in your video I believe you are ok. This includes the audio track.

Why would my keywords never ranking in Bing but have great position in both Google and Yahoo?
Agree 100%!!! We got a VERY powerful keyword ranked #3 in Bing. Two days later, Bing sent me an email through webmaster tools letting me know that they dropped the keyword from us because our website had no content about this keyword. However, our website is almost exclusively dedicated with original content specific to this keyword. I have never thought that a competitor could rat you out to the SE and get you dropped. That said, I find myself thinking this was almost certainly the case. I have no idea how. The good part was Bing was kind enough to give me a way to solve the problem. I was out of the country at the time, so I ended up doing it though chat and email. It took a few days, but the person was extremely helpful and even gave me some good SEO tips. It took about a week to solve and get back on the SERPs, but I am still far away from my original #3 position. The entire process took about two weeks. Getting a real human to verify our content took the longest. I would have never been able to fix this problem had I not been using webmaster tools.

What will you do with the subdomains, keep it or remove it?
If the content in the subdomains is directly related to the main domain's content, then yes the folder approach would be best. You would consolidate all your links and domain authority into one strong domain. With the subdomain approach your DA is divided. If you proceed with this change, be sure to properly 301 redirect the URLs and update all links within your site along with any other links you have control over in other locations.
