Will Traffic From Social Media Effects Search Engine Ranking
If the user experience for paid traffic is bad, you'll be losing money. I think this area is mostly self policing. I have seen zero evidence ever that Google takes paid social traffic user experience or volume into account for organic rankings. It doesn't make sense to do that because those users behave drastically different than a user on organic search. Why would you base organic search rankings on paid social traffic?

Does having dots in my brand name hurt my SEO? ie: BoatU.S. vs BoatUS ?
Thanks for the response! Yes, I was wondering if having dots in the on page elements "ie: tile tags, h1, description, etc" would hurt SEO or confuse bots when crawling. My understanding is that it doesn't due to the semantic approach Google bots use when crawling but I wasn't 100% sure Thanks for confirming! Youssef

Changing site URL structure
The rule of thumb is a 301 redirect passes 90-99% of page rank. If the 301 is redirecting to another page on the same domain, it's probably closer to 99%. I would not worry about the 1% loss. Redirecting to https on the same domain actually improves page rank. Google likes HTTPS, and it is a positive ranking factor.

Seeing what time a crawl was run, configuring crawl settings
Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here. The only way to see what time our crawler is crawling your site would be to check for our user-agent in your server logs: rogerbot. Unfortunately, there's no way to control the time of day at which we crawl your site. We just don't have a setting for that. There's also no way to control the day of the week the crawl takes place, for similar reasons. Your site will be crawled around the same time each week, with no way of adjusting when that takes place. We currently don't have a way to slow the crawl rate, either. Normally you'd be able to use a crawl delay in your robots.txt file, but our new crawler isn't following those crawl delays at the moment. In the future, that will be how you would slow down our crawler, but for now that option isn't up and running. Sorry about that! I'm afraid I wasn't too much help here, Patrick. My apologies I couldn't be more useful to you. If you still have questions, feel free to shoot us a note at help@moz.com and we'll do our best to sort things out with you.

Ranking & Visibility suddenly Down for my website
This could be due to a number of factors, however as of this morning (9/8/17) there is talk of a potential Google algorithm update- see more talk about it at https://www.seroundtable.com/google-search-algorithm-update-24433.html. This is just speculation but Google is showing a lot of SERP volatility in the last 24-36 hours.

Images are Blocked Resources in webmasters. Anything wrong?
You can block an entire subdomain via robots.txt, however you'll need to create a robots.txt file and place it in the root of the subdomain, then add the code to direct the bots to stay away from the entire subdomain's content. User-agent: * Disallow: /

Google for Jobs: how to deal with third-party sites that appear instead of your own?
We have found the following: 1 Using the API is better than waiting for Google to crawl the jobs. 2 They have you must have data fields, but they have would like to have and be tickled pink if you have fields. Filling in all three changes rankings in the testing we have done. 3 The quality of the title you give vs the title they understand. 4 The overall authority of your site. No exact on this yet but a gut feel factor. 5 SERPs result are also jumping around like crazy just now, we see the Google for jobs panel with no links about it and then four hours later it has 4 organic links about it for the same search, then a day later 2, then a day later none, then back to four then an hour later none... Testing google for jobs when it landed in the UK three weeks ago its results are inconsistent with its own rules, we have found jobs with the wrong suggested title format, the wrong address format, landing pages not actual jobs have found their way onto the service!!! jobs with red warning have made it onto the service and so the list goes on.

How many links can you have on sitemap.html
Sitemaps are limited to 50MB (uncompressed) and 50,000 URLs from Google perspective. All formats limit a single sitemap to 50MB (uncompressed) and 50,000 URLs. If you have a larger file or more URLs, you will have to break it into multiple sitemaps. You can optionally create a sitemap index file (a file that points to a list of sitemaps) and submit that single index file to Google. You can submit multiple sitemaps and/or sitemap index files to Google. Just for everyone's references - here is a great list of 20 limits that you may not know about. 20 Google limits
