yeah, you want to avoid duplicate content issues where google has to choose which content to display so go for the snippet option. I like Wordpress. If you are using this platform I use the first 2 paragraphs for the main post feed and use the "Excerpt" option to control the snippets on category pages.

I agree with Stephen on trying to cut down the number(replace with related kw)  and monitor the results . The motivation to do so is more about user perception rather than SERPs. Page looks good above the fold but becomes a bit less compelling as you go down . The tools only provide suggestions (good ones actually) rather than edicts , on top of my head imagine running that tool on cars.com keyword "cars" . As far as "KW density" this device from my understanding was meant to cultivate best practice ; to optimize for form and flow rather than trying to gain an edge in the SERPs (might not be KW density after all) . Google can read PDFs, and returns them in search results, but some users might prefer to view an HTML version.  Also, it looks like images in PDFs are not indexed, according to the 2nd post below. A: Whenever possible, we recommend serving a single copy of your content. If this isn’t possible, make sure you indicate your preferred version by, for example, including the preferred URL in your Sitemap or by specifying the canonical version in the HTML or in the HTTP headers of the PDF resource. Like most low barrier of entrance, web-based businesses, there are endless pseudo-professional "firms" and "individuals". To get a rough estimate of licensed, established consultants and firms, try counting DMOZ entries.  It's not fool-proof, but neither is your question.   Did this answer your question?

Thanks for the response! Yes, we do want to implement the rel=canonical tag but since we are using Magento to build on we are having some issues. One of the issues is that we have the shirts page with sort features: www.mysite.com/shirts/shoby/size-m and then the tshirts page: www.mystie.com/shirts/tshirts/shoby/size-m So the problem we're running into is trying to figure out how to write a script to implement rel=canonical so that for the first URL, everything after shirts canonicalizes to the /shirts/ URL, and then for the second URL everything after tshirts canonicalizes back to the /shirts/tshirts/ URL without the /shirts/ rel=canonical overriding it.

Beat traffic violations with a Denver Lawyer." /> Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that Google will use the meta description that you specify. While it's frustrating, I have seen several instances where Google selects alternate text to use in place of the specified Meta description. Best, W

Wordpress is definietely a best choice considering various points" Wordpress is developed mainly for blogging. Means the basic structure is designed from the blogging prospects. Gradually they build up and added features of CMS but without changing their main structure. Joomla is mainly built as CMS. That is very flexible and can be used for various types of websites using extensions. So If you want to use Joomla as blogging site, you need some extra extensions. Wordpress is much easier to use, specially when you are using it for blog only. 100 of blogging related extensions available with Wordpress. For Example Social Sharing, Feedburner, Videos and other media handling, etc. It can be bit complex in Joomla.
