Should we target Outsource and Offshore on same page?
Generally, you shouldn't target more than 2-4 keywords per page. While solid content can eventually rank in several hundred different keywords when creating a post or page on your website you should do so with no more than 4 keywords when theming the content around a thesis or focal point. So if the two keywords you're inquiring about are within a similar category, it would be best to make one page for both.

Rel Canonicals not working properly.
Hi there! The canonical tags in those pages are implemented incorrectly. There should have absolute urls, like: https://www.domain.com/page/product/ So, the canonical here: https://www.morningstar.com/company/sustainability should be: Look, there are 2 changes from the current tag: 1. https:// at the beginning 2. Removing the trailing slash at the end. In both pages, the changes are the same. Best luck. GR

Buy domain, redirect, get all the good links (+link juice) and disavow the spammy ones?
If you're OK with domain age, niche etc. you can disavow bad links. Or you can try to remove them manually. Contact website owners to request them.

Old subdomains - what to do SEO-wise?
Thanks for replying Will. You have mentioned a few ways to deal with this there - and they all seem to point out to the fact that this should not really be a high-priority issue for us at the moment. Especially, if you think that sub-domains do not really have a major effect to the main site (I would not even think it's even worth us deindexing to be honest as it may be relevant to some people and we can just allow Google to continue indexing as it is). Surely, all considerations point to this: we can come to the conclusion that we won't be doing any SEO-related work on these pages. Therefore, how do I set up MOZ to ignore these two sub-domains and only show crawl errors related to the main site? We just don't want these pages to be crawled at all by MOZ given we won't do any work on them. Thanks

Bulk redirection of blogs
I have made loads of redirects as I renamed my pages a lot in the beginning of my SEO career, and it had no effect on my ranking as long as I made a 301 redirect. However, I can not recommend to rename your pages unless it is absolute necessary as you should never fix something that ain't broken:-)

Why does the moz bar link count differ from the moz link analysis page
Hi there Andy, Thanks so much for writing in to us - Sam from Moz's Help Team here! I think the issue here is this - it's worth nothing that MozBar displays Total links (internal and external links), so if you're seeing a large amount of links and 0 RDs I would recommend checking the Link Explorer Compare Link Profiles tab to see a breakdown of the results. https://moz.com/help/guides/link-explorer/compare-link-profiles In this case you'll see that for instance for the page with 6 links from 0 RDs, the 6 links are internal links. The link analysis will show you results for that specific page - in the compare link profiles section you can see for the 936 page links/4 RDs, that is the set of total links. The 141 links would be links pointing just to that page. I hope this helps but do let me know if I can help with anything else!

Whats the negative effect of incorrect canonical to first page in paginated set?
Hi Dana, Thanks for helping out! It's an ecommerce site. You mention that "content not on Page 1 is not being crawled or indexed by search engines". Wouldn't the pages still be crawled and the products that they list still be crawled and indexed? It's just that Page 2/3/4/5 etc wont be indexed because of the canonical? If this is the case the only negative effect I can see is that if the product combination on a page 2/3/4/5 happened to convey relevance for a particular search query then the page wouldn't be returned in the listings?

How should I handle hreflang tags if it's the same language in all targeting countries?
Hi tcope25, Thanks for the clarification, that helps me to understand better the end goal. To futher clarify, you say "we want every other visitor in the world to visit our international subdomain." Do you mean "every other [English speaking] visitor in the world." ? If so, I think your proposed code is close. It is now just missing a self-referencing element, so it should be: Just keep in mind that even if your tags are perfect, if your English US site has significantly more authority, it may show up in international search results anyway as rel="alternate" hreflang is a signal, not a directive. Hope that helps! Dana

Canonical Tag Question Regarding Two State Pages
Thank you very much! I'll apply the canonical tag to the PPC pages and leave them to stay indexed. They do rank organically for a few keywords and gets leads, so I don't want to lose that. Is the Canonical URL just the "SEO" state page URL that I'm optimizing and want it to point too?

Problems with Meta Title on Bing
Yes, and it's fairly common. Each of the search engine may or many not use your meta title. If the search engine deemed that another title (derived from the laning page) will match the user's intent better, they may switch it. Since Google & Bing have different algo's, this happens. For more info see How Does Bing Choose The Title For My Web Page.
