  • As Don_quixote mentioned, yes it would be helpful to change to URL's so they correspond to your content. That will make them "SEO Friendly". However, remember to redirect them with a 301 every time you are changing them. That will spare you a lot of problems later and you'll keep your page rank (if they have any).

  • As far as I know when something makes new update they change lots of things. That's not only you but many other people facing this same problem. But creating good content, fix on page and internal linking for a good result.

  • Hi Kay, These two example URLs do not seem to represent duplicate content - the listings are different for each page. I wouldn't want to set canonical tags on these pages as they are unique. Did you see an error in an SEO tool of some kind indicating there was a duplicate content problem here? For general applications, canonical tags should be added to the duplicate page(s) themselves, and those canonical tags should refer to the preferred/canonical page that you want to keep indexed (but no changes need to be made to the preferred/canonical page itself). So if these pages were true duplicates of your homepage, each duplicate would need the canonical tag  (but the homepage itself would not need to include the canonical tag). From your examples, I'd just caution you may not be dealing with actual duplicate content - they look like valid pages to me. Best, Mike

  • In the main rankings section of your Campaign, the related URL is automatically populated with the highest ranking URL for that particular keyword- this URL can't be updated as it is pulled directly from the SERP at the time of the data collection. That being said, if you'd like to see how a particular page is ranking for that keyword, there are a few ways you can see that info. The first would be in the Analyze a Keyword section. Here you can select "keyword performance" from the drop down to see the top 5 ranking URLs for that keyword on your site. The next would be in Page Optimization. Here you can create a pairing of a keyword and URL from your tracked site and we will show you how well optimized that page is for that keyword along with the rank. The rank will then update weekly and will be able to be seen in your Page Optimization's "track and monitor" tab. I've got a few guides to help get you started with these tools: https://moz.com/help/moz-pro/page-optimization/overview https://moz.com/help/moz-pro/rankings/analyze-keywords

  • It appears the site has been impacted up by the medic update on 5 August 2018.  Review data and check when the decline spiral started. In answer to your query Schema has a massive impact on some sites, not sure where your site fits into the schema discussion - but properly executed in the correct circumstance schema is only beneficial. It would have to be a technical audit on why the wrong pricing.. as a .com.au with an Australian based platform.. should be coming up in AUD..

  • The logic for both platforms is sound. In our experience WordPress smashes Square space. WordPress is our SEO platform of choice.  We also see Magento, just marginally sitting above Shopify for SEO. Shopify does not have https2 at its root etc. Good luck, they are always tough decisions.

  • Hi Dana, Expires headers and other caching headers can help improve site performance (as you said), and that will be a good thing for SEO. There is no reason to be concerned - they are common headers and there isn't much they could do to have any negative impact on SEO. Good luck! Tom

  • Hi there. It's a little hard to be certain based on the screenshots you've provided - the best way of verifying this yourself (or for getting me to help) would be to evaluate the actual website from the "outside" - i.e. when not logged into the admin area. I would suggest reviewing what that looks like and ensuring it operates how you expect and want it to. If you would like me to take a look, please share a link and I'll see if I can help some more. Thanks

  • Some people believe that the most reliable way to determine keyword difficulty is to visit the SERPs and see who holds top positions and then you will know "who you must defeat". If you want something a bit more reliable, then click into the top-ranking pages, examine them and then know "what you must defeat". The combination of who and what is very informative. Who and what have informed in advance of battles for thousands of years over all types of terrain. I don't use keyword difficulty scores.  I want the information above.  Then, I match that against my skills and the resources required to become competitive. Great mistakes are made when skillful people allow keyword scores to scare them away from competition and when low keyword scores lure less skillful people into battles above their abilities.
