Okay thanks. I wasn't aware how much the cost would be.

Thats a shame. If you move offices then you could have additional SEO expense!

Concern about Citations when business Addresses change!
This may be a beginner level question, but I am concerned about spending money on citations in case I have to move offices at any point in the next 6 to 12 months.
Would I have to update my address on all the citations? If so, is there an easy way to do this cost effectively?
Or do I leave the old address as it is and create new citations with the new address?
What is better or cheaper to do?
What is better for SEO?
Thank you.

RE: Do Wordpress sites outrank SquareSpace?
Hi Alex, Thanks for your response. I agree with you. I know WP has a larger market share, even then, I don't remember the last time I saw SS site rank. However, I have noticed Shopify doesn't seem to be affected by the same curse

I have seen many Shopify sites rank really well, or is that just me! Because I am considering Shopify for another project.
I was weighing up moving to WP, and your response and some other factors from my research and gut instinct have more or sealed the deal for me. I am going to move this site back to WP. However, I will continue to keep some of my sites on SS. A few are not doing too badly.
But the site in question is definitely moving.

Do Wordpress sites outrank SquareSpace?
I was a big fan of Wordpress. I used it for 10 years. However, because I run a very small business, the constant upkeep needed on WP in the end started to frustrate me in the end, so I moved to SquareSpace.
However, I am beginning to question my decision, as one of my sites is struggling really badly, and I mean badly. The other sites are okay.
So I started asking around, and most people are saying there shouldn't be a difference. A few people have said their Wordpress sites always outranks their SquareSpace sites. Then I read what Rand Fishkin said in the below Twitter thread, now I am even more confused. I am very reluctant to move to Wordpress, its just so much hassle. But at the same time, if a site doesn't get much traffic then it's useless.

EMD and dot CO domains
This may be a basic question for some. I would like to get opinion of SEO experts on EMD and .co domains.
I understand from what I have read that exact match domains have less value nowadays but they still have some value, that's what I seem to be sensing from experts. So I wanted to know how .co domains are viewed in term of SEO. And can an exact match .co domain have a better opportunity against another domain which is not an EMD if all other things are equal?

RE: Blocking internal search results
Hi John, That helps. I read about that Yoest site. But I am not using Wordpress. I was a big fan of WordPress for almost a decade. But I got frustrated with it in the end. So I need to find a way around it.

RE: Blocking internal search results
Hi John,
Please see attached screenshot here: https://screencast.com/t/u2WzJHzL
Google Search Console sent me a warning email to look at these links. An example is this one which is actually a search of author:Â https://gcse.co.uk/gcse-blog/?author=5bccc44d71c10b128276d958
Do you know how I can fix this?

RE: How should I start?
That helps. I am already doing most of that apart from Yext. I have never heard of that before.
