Unfortunately I don't know enough of the specific intricacies of how each plugin performs for speed. But you pretty much named all the top plugins I can think of. What I am suggesting is, to choose your favorite plugin and then use caching and maybe even a CDN to help with pagespeed. So in other words, make everything else about the site as fast as possible. Also, feature request (!), some way to template the reports. Creating a new one for each campaign takes a LOT of time. I think you're working on this but wanted to put that out there.

Well I've been using MOZ for  three months.  I have seen upward and downward ticks on Bing but absolutely no upward or downward movement on Google.  I would think that there would be some fluctuation over a three month period. I've have fixed the issues shown on each page. I don't know what to do.

I mentioned both.  You add a meta robots to noindex and remove from the sitemap.

+1 what Keri and Andriy have said. I would only add that you can still buy additional domains and redirect them to your core site. e.g. your single site sits on site.com. If you wanted to "glocalise" your appeal then you could promote site.co.uk in the UK in advertising campaigns and have it 301 redirect to site.com. This would protect your brand, and also gives you the opportunity to localise the experience on site.com if they were referred via site.co.uk, and configure things like setting correct local currency. It really depends on how important having a local appeal is to your client. George @methodicalweb

If you received an inbound unnatural links penalty then the links going OUT from your blog will not matter.  It's possible for you to also get an outbound unnatural link penalty as well but you would receive notice of that just like you did with the inbound penalty.

As Jeff mentioned, it could very well be Google running a test - they run small tests like this quite often.

When you say that "each one has it own canonical tag to its own individual page", do you mean that "./name-of-the-page-categoryone" has a canonical pointing back to "/name-of-the-page"? Are there other variations (sorts, filters, etc)? Typically, it's best not to have different categories land you on custom URLs with the same content. If, for example, a product appears in multiple categories, you should still land on one unified URL when you actual click to the product, regardless of the path/category used to get you there. That said, rel=canonical should work, and our tools should generally honor it. I have a feeling that there's something more complicated going on here.

Hey Erick Did the old URLs/Pages get new URLs? If they are clean from a link perspective on the old site they all need to be individually redirected to the matching new pages. Also, check to be sure all the new pages/content is indexed and cached with some site searches etc. It might be a matter of getting that to happen completely first as well. -Dan

Unless they have fixed it in recent months, xml-sitemaps does not generate correct video sitemaps.

I've only had a quick look, but here is my theory. If you noticed a sharp drop in Google in October of 2013 then there's a good chance that the Penguin 2.1 update on October 4 affected the site.  I do certainly see links that the Penguin algorithm would look upon unfavorably.  For example: http://www.westdigitalmarketing.com/blog/funding-solutions-uk-digital-strategy/ http://www.startupoverseas.com/news/invoice-finance-for-an-exporter--cash-flow-and-peace-of-mind.html http://21stguru.com/index.php?s=A&c=39&p=141 But, as Penguin was only a Google thing, it wouldn't affect your rankings in Bing and Yahoo.  Those unnatural links were probably supporting your rankings in those search engines. So, when you removed bad backlinks in order to clean up for Google's sake, you removed links that were supporting you in Bing and Yahoo and thus those rankings dropped. There could be other reasons too, but that's my theory.

Yes, if you can quickly write unique meta descriptions you can start doing that immediately and if the site is not big and you manage to finish it in 1- 2 weeks there is no use to delete meta descriptions. If you see that this will occupy more then 2 weeks it is better to delete duplicated metadescriptions. But the best solution will be to write unique meta description immediately for home page and other important pages which rank right now.
