.discount Domain Extensions
The jury's really still out on these, all around. As Lesley said, it depends on if and when people adopt them (on the user side), and Google often plays new domain extensions by ear. If an extension gets very spammy, they may start to see it as low-value. My prediction is that keywords in the extension will carry some weight, but it's going to be a fairly weak signal. So "chicago-divorce.attorney" could give you a tiny boost toward ranking for "Chicago divorce attorney", but it's not going to be enough to make a difference for a competitive phrase. We're even seeing keywords in the root domain slowly losing traction as stand-alone signals. It's not enough to buy a keyword-matched domain in 2014. If you're in a position where there's a good name available under the new extensions that fits your brand, and your options with .com's are bad, then it may be worth a shot. I certainly wouldn't dissuade someone from locking down a name under the next extensions, if the cost is reasonable. I'm just not sure I'd bet anything on the new extensions being an SEO boon.

Is it important to keep your website home index page simple to rank better?
_Firstly what type of tool are you using which shows up the errors in site code? I would like to check the site myself for these errors. _ I have been a coder since 1993 before most browser lol. I look at everything with my own eyes and just see it immediately. _It would be maybe a lot of work to change the entire site in one go etc. _ Nothing wrong with doing it bit by bit. Google algorithms will however take a look at the site as a whole for additional ranking signals, so I would look at extracting that data and dropping it into a new template at some point. It is also very confusing for a customer to land on that page only to click on a link and have a totally new site layout. Do you think initially it will be a good idea to get a coder to just look at the old site and fix any errors? Yes the errors will likely all be the same or similar and should not take long to fix. From customer feedback they seem to think it looks okay for the products old cottages That is always a good sign, however that may be a very specific audience and you might be missing out on a much larger audience who may hold less trust in a site that looks dated compared to other sites. Its all about first impressions. _I have run a test _ Plenty of tools out there to look at things however they wont reveal too much detail just the standard things its looking for that most people get wrong. I assure you that the coding issues you have that need fixing are not the same as others. Even down to the broken google plus code you have in the top left corner. They will be pretty unique to your site.

Increase in authorization permission errors (Access Denied - Error 403)
Thank you! It makes sense. On the top left corner of the bar email is not a link. So I suppose this is not where the fault is located. BUT, I had forgotten the mailto: prefix in the email link in the footer. I changed it there. Let's hope that was the case Thank you for the feedback

How to start multi lang Project?
While there are SEO's on Moz who can answer this question... it is to over broad. It would appear you have not done any type of project close to this in the past from how you have posted the question. If I am simply missing this due to the language difference you have my sincere apologies. A multi region or multi language website is a very complicated endeavor if you have not done it before and I would suggest getting assistance from an agency that handles these. The only other suggestion is to go into WMT and read on multi region/multi language sites and possibly post questions there as well. Sorry, and I wish you the best, Robert

How to handle a blog subdomain on the main sitemap and robots file?
It's my understanding that you treat each subdomain as a unique site. So each subdomain should have its own unique XML sitemap and robots.txt file, as well as submitted separately to Google Webmaster Tools. But to answer your inter-linking question, I would avoid including the other domain URLs in those files (XML and Robots). Only include the URLs for that particular domain and/or subdomain. With that being said however, I would inter-link them on the actual site somewhere. Maybe in the HTML sitemap, navigation, footer, or even naturally throughout your body content where appropriate as well.

Will a CSS Overflow Scroll for content affect SEO rankings?
Hidden means the text will never be shown to an end user under any circumstances. It could be in a div with "display:none" as its style, or white text on a white background.

Why would a domain show up in Webmaster Tools but not latest links?
We have never done anything blackhat or spammy, but over time we have just acquired crappy links. We had a traffic drop when the first penguin was rolled out so we thought cleaning up some of the old crap would be a good idea.

Tools or guide to upgrade the Ranking of my website
Hello, you will first and foremost want to peruse this beginners guide http://moz.com/beginners-guide-to-seo. I do not rely on their on page optimization grader. Regarding the Grade "F" -- it says F because your page is not aligned with the keyword that moz software is grading your page for. ie your page ranks #1 for "farm raised pearls" but the page gets an F because the keyword moz software is grading you on is "farm raised pearl necklace".

Losing Page Rank
Thank you for the thoughts I didn't think about that in this context before. That design would push the SEO. I guess that is the curse of a template website is that it looks generic not custom tailored for the user or the brand per se Ryan

Seo audit tool for conversions?
There are several conversion tools available. Most tags for these tools would go in the head tags on your template. That is the easiest way to get them on every page while only having to add the code once. If you are asking which tool to use, that is the tricky part. Google Analytics has their ECommerce section in Beta right now, but that's what I use to manage my organic conversions. You can track transactions that happen on your site alone. Not phone calls or personal interactions unfortunately. If that tool ever develops, please let me know! GA is a free tool, and it is very accurate. If you haven't looked into that yet, I would check it out.

HTTPS entire domain Vs. one URL
Thanks guys! Part of the problem is we cut the ties with our previous webmaster... I have taken over the account but he left me kinda high and dry, and everybody else here doesn't know anything about our website. So I'm just trying to figure out what's best practice/easiest/better in the long run. We are in the middle of a complete overhaul of our website so I decided we would buy a cert and make our entire site secure. We do some insurance verifications and we can afford it. Might as well. Thanks again!

404 issues
Hello! I took a look at your sites and we last crawled them in July so we haven't discovered any new links to follow to your site to update our index. We will only store indexed data for up to 80 days unless re-crawled. Using Raven Tools and others is a better way to look at your full profile while OSE looks for fresh, diverse, and important links. Hope this helps!

Hiding h1 tags in Magento
My view is a little bit different, but to be 100% I would have to look at the site. If the application / module is using style="display:none" to hide the tag, I would not use it. The reason being is that multiple h1 tags on a page dilute or in some peoples opinion cancel out other h1 tags. There are valid reasons to hide h1 tags, like when you are doing fade ins or have a slider with it in there. So I am of the opinion that even if it is hidden Google will pick up on it. So you do run the chance of being caught for keyword stuff or it could cancel out your h1 tag that is displaying. (As far as I know there is no clear 100% information on how Google handles multiple h1 tags. I have heard all sorts of things including it registers the first one seen in code, it registers the last one seen in code, it combines the weight given to all of the h1 tags, and even that they don't matter it is text size above the fold that matters) If it were me this is what I would do. I would remove the text from the banners and use the built in functionality for the text. Depending on the location of them on the page really depends on how I would tag them, they could be h2, h3, span, ect. But I would opt for on page visible text over using a graphic with text. I realize that you do not like the style that it uses, but it is just a style that can usually be mimic'd with a style sheet. The reason I usually opt not to use text on banners is twofold. It cannot be translated and it cannot be searched.

Exchanging Follow/No-Follow Links with Parnter Site
RIch, A lot of theory goes into link building because many aspects of it can be hard to measure consistently across the board and too many factors can come into play to even account for. An exact answer to your question would need to take into account many factors which you have not described in your question. What is the strength, age, authority of the domains? Is there any relationship between those who have registered these two domains or do they own other domains together? What do their respective link profiles look like and recently, how have links been added to each domain? When you say "If two sites (follow)link to each other, clearly that does not offer any link juice.", your "clearly" isn't necessarily so. For example, if a high domain authority site and a low domain authority site followed-linked to each other, the one might expect that the low domain authority site would benefit most. Don't confuse technicalities with absolutes. Many of those who have are now battling the Penguin.
