  • Definitely check out our Keyword Difficulty tool. It uses Bing's API to track keyword volume. When I've done this type of research, I've used a mix of metrics: keyword difficulty, Google trends, Adwords, etc., to figure out estimated volume.

  • Hello Robert, That I know of there is no micro-data markup for your specific need. However, you should be able to use the review rating for now. You can show the skull and crossbones or happy faces or whatever you need to show to the user, and then use the Rating or AggregateRating schema to translate that into what Google needs, which is essentially a number range from 1-5. These would show up as starts in the SERPs, but you could show them with whatever icons you like on your website.

  • Keep in mind internal linking doesn't bring much value these days, generating backlinks for those keywords would be much more valuable. Or you can try to rank for these different keywords using different landing pages, on-page optimized for those keywords.

  • Mhhh, to google these three domains are totally different entities, so if you have the same content on each page for sure it would be counted as duplicate content. But I can see you do have a 301 redirect to the canonical www, so you should not face that problem. But you are talking about duplicate title only... In the report, when you see a duplicate title, it should also tell you (in a different column) which other pages are sharing the same title, what is it listing? I would check the redirect for those specific pages.

  • If this is an older GA account, before placing the Universal code onto your site you should check in your Property Settings -> Tracking Code to make sure that it is set to use Universal Analytics, if not you should start the upgrade process and wait until it is complete to replace any old GA code with the new. If you have just created this account then yes, use Universal Analytics without worry.

  • Here are the following things I have noticed while being on your blog for 10 seconds. -          Page Load time is high -          Topics are mostly used keeping the keywords in life. -          No promoting strategy implemented. -          No option for me to connect to author on social media -          Design is good but a little heavy in my opinion We at our end when work on blog management this is something we always consider -          Design should compliment brand’s online identity as well as appeal to user. User cannot wait much so the design should be light so that it can load fast as required by the reader. -          Topics you are choosing are keyword friendly but when building a conversation on the blog you should play with mix of keyword friendly topics and the topics that have the ability to create buzz and conversation on your blog. -          Lot of text, no infographics, you are missing mix media content on your blog. -          There are multiple authors, which is great but there is no way I can communicate with them and engage with your brand. Remember, now people like to engage with faces instead of logos. -          Writing a quality blog post is nothing unless you have a awesome marketing and promotion plan for it These are the few ideas that you should consider and you will see a measureable difference in your traffic.

  • I looked into it, but it seems like if you direct Google image hits to posts (which can be done in a number of ways), your images soon drop out of the search results. I think I'm better off getting a trickle of traffic from images (those who click on "view post") as my search traffic to landing pages is still on a steep climb.

  • I personally would not. From what I have gathered about the latest Penguin update, it really targeted link neighborhoods. That is what you are describing when you are talking about the link profile of this other site. Ask yourself this, does it look natural? Is there a relevancy from this site to mine? True it is just one link, but is it worth risking your link profiles integrity? My answer is always no.

  • In my experience XML is really the best practice. You can have more than one site map technically, but you should always have an XML version.
