Homepage Slider How to Handle H1 and H2's
The issue with your slider is that as all 4 slides have the same text which is copy-pasted for every slide, and it might hurt your keyword optimization. Since your site doesn't have an H1, the ideal solution would be to turn the slider text into an H1 and make it so that the text floats over the slider, and not cycle the same text all over again, or setting an H1 outside the slider. Alternatively, it that's too complicated, switching the text of one of the slides as an H1 would be a plus for the website. Too many dofollow links = penalty?
1. Was my website penalized for having an unnatural backlink profile (too many do-follow links), or maybe this drop in positions is just a temporary, natural thing? Maybe you experience Google Flux which is normal. 2. Isn’t it too late for making the backlink profile look more natural by building more nofollow backlinks and making it 50%/50%? Try to analyze your competitor's backlink profile and analyze them, maybe they build more high-quality backlinks than you. Try also to inspect your ONPAGE score compared to them.

Can I access old data/keyword research if I cancel my Moz Pro account?
Moz will archive your data for up to 3 months. That means it will save the data in your account if you are inactive but only for the past three months. If you reactive past that time, your campaigns should still be setup but the data will no longer be there. Also, Moz won't run any of the reports during the inactive time. But you will have access to the data should you renew in that three months time frame. One thing you can do is download the reports that you currently have setup as a reference point for future campaigns per se. That way even if you take longer than 3 months, you personally will have the data store in a CSV or PDF format. FYI, I don't work for Moz so this advice is from previous experience and not directly from Moz.

Purpose of static index.html pages?
Lots of SEOs believe that putting a bunch of pages (especially your money pages) on a subdomain is not a good idea - because if they were in a folder they would rank better because their linkjuice is part of the main site. Having a duplicate set of product pages that have noindex links into them is a crazy idea for many reasons (SEO, maintenance, linkjuice waste, plain irrationality). Your company, IMO, is a good target for take-over or buy-out. A new owner could streamline this stuff and make a lot more money. If a new company buys for this reason, they will probably fire all of the SEOs and use their own. Opinions on this may differ. As a manager who is paid in the basis of performance, I have told you where my bets would be placed.

Geographical Results in Universal SERPS
One area search engines seem to be gravitating toward is granting strong product verticals with a history of online purchase behavior – a lean toward non-local results. For many, you now need to be on a mobile device or type “near me” as part of the search query to trigger a map. Understanding whether you have reached the “near me” need to even compete with national online sellers is important when strategizing and setting expectations. Google uses the content on the page in conjunction with your search history and or location so all those insurance companies have pages that have content that is more relevant to your search query in Austin because they have the words Austin inside the content. So if your Google and Amica insurance for liberty mutual are able to index a landing page with words Austin on it and you query it from an ISP within that area you will get the results shown to you. The only other way to get those results is through what Google has already learned about your search habits on the web they know where you are. So they're going to serve content that they think you like or content that you have been to more often. I hope that makes sense, Tom

What is the "Homepage" for an International Website With Multiple Languages?
Hi Daniel, Yes, I have read the entire article. Instead continuing to debate how much link equity in particular would pass through a homepage 301, or how reliable Google's "official stance" is, my goal is rather to evaluate the how the homepage holistically relates to the overall international SEO and corporate branding strategy, in tandem with a complex redesign that is already going to require us to switch up a ton of pages. Thanks!

How to deal with URLs when changing shopping cart software to ensure SEO
If you are moving a link permanently the best way to do is to make your old page into 301. The 301 tells that your link is moved permanently to your new site link.

Redirect entire website or not?
I would first like to clarify that the redirect of the users from the fitness website to the main health website will not damage the SEO and rankings of the main health website. However, since you are saying that the traffic is mostly international and only 1-5% of the users would actually be useful for the UK blog, I would rather suggest that you keep both websites, put minimal efforts and content on the fitness website and also indexing it, and you can find other ways to use (monetize) the rest of the traffic. For UK clients, you can put some banners, paid ads or referring articles to bring traffic and add credibility to the main site. you can also set it so that the banners show up only for the UK visitors. As mentioned, doing a 301 redirect from the fitness website to the main health website won't harm your rankings, and if you aren't willing to give the effort of minimally maintaining the fitness blog you can also have an agency managing it for you and monetizing the foreign traffic. How can I see the "redirect chain" that Moz says is a problem?
Redirect chains occur when there is a series of two or more redirects between the initial URL and destination URL. You can check for redirect chains on up to 100 URLs using this HTTP status code checker. This will then show you where the redirect chains are and you will then be able to fix them.
