We do not own that data - it's imported by requests from customers within campaigns. Rank tracker queries the search engines directly. I hope this helps to explain. Sorry for any inconvenience!

I have a client who has dropped from DA16 to DA1 and lost the few links he had he's NOT happy!! Haven't just spent a few weeks impressing upon him the importance of building up his DA, it's been pretty hard trying to pacify him over this. Great explanation from Rand, but c'mon MOZ when are you going to fix this? And when are you going to enable tracking of DA? AuthorityLabs and others can do it for keyword ranking. I'm sure you can do it for DA and PA. It appears their primary competitor has maintained their DA of 19. So can someone please explain this added twist?

I'm also getting these errors so my crawler is pretty much useless to us at the moment lol

If you haven't already, be sure to check the Mozscape API updates page, here: https://moz.com/products/api/updates. As one went live the day before this post. I'd second what Gaston says about advising against this (and similar metrics) as a KPI.

I'm afraid not for bash curls. We do share example code for calling our API using other languages at https://github.com/seomoz/SEOmozAPISamples

Thanks Vijay, its only on my windows machine (I really only use it for Server Log Analysis) and the above seems like to much work. Its working fine on the Mac - so will just install and leave it off the windows machine.

Hi Tanan I'm afraid the Mozscape API is for link metrics and does not offer keyword data.

Hopefully one of our community members can chime in with programs that have worked for them.

Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Customer Support team here. Nope, Keyword Explorer doesn't include data from Google Scholar. Moz combines data from multiple sources (including Google Keyword Planner and purchased, anonymized clickstream data for ~1mm searchers in the US) to build our volume models. We then distribute these into bucket ranges that represent relative confidence we have in the various ranges for a given keyword. You can read more about our process and research in this blog post. Yes this fixed ours fully, we had to wait a couple of week for things to update and get pulled back through but it did the trick
