  • Hey Stephen, Thanks for the question! We actually don't have an API for our reports and campaigns. We are hoping to have that in the future but It would definitely be down there road. We do offer many of our reports in CSV that could potentially be integrated into your system. Thanks! Joel.

  • Hey Joel, Thanks for the feedback on this and the links, while I'm not a coder, I'll definitely dig into the apps already made! Appreciate the response! John

  • Thanks for reaching out to us here at Moz! This is a great question for our Moz Dev Discussion Group: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293196-Mozscape-Developer-Discussion-Group The knowledgable community and discussion group found in that above link will surely prove helpful in this case. These members have found several creative ways to build tools out of our API and I am sure the group will be able to come up with some ideas. Have  a great week!

  • Hey Wesley, Thanks for writing in with a great question. Unfortunately, we are not able to migrate data between accounts because there is a very high risk of data corruption not only to your campaign data, but also to other campaigns that are stored in the same server. I would recommend exporting the reports from your current account for historical reference if you need to create a new account. I apologize for the inconvenience this may cause. Please let me know if you need further assistance. Chiaryn

  • Right now the daily limit is 300 for all membership levels. That'd be a good feature request to put in at https://seomoz.zendesk.com/forums/293194-Moz-Feature-Requests however!

  • Hey Robert, Thanks for the question. The API can be tough to use if you don't have the coding knowledge to develop your tools. You may want to consider just using Open Site Explorer if you're not able to make or find a tool that you're enjoying. Here's some examples of things people have put together using our API: http://apiwiki.moz.com/gallery/apps I hope that helps. Cheers, Joel.

  • It seems that the URL you asked me to run at OSE's home page should not be the back-link but the my site's link whose back-links I want? Is that correct? Yes, that's correct. It could be that you are seeing only links pointed to the URL. Be sure to use the filters and drop-down to choose "pages on this root domain"  (see the attached screenshot) Otherwise feel free to shot me the URL and I'll be happy to take a look. One note: different indexes always list different URLs, even Google Webmaster Tools doesn't list a complete set of links to your site. Moz's index could be considered "medium" size. It doesn't contain every link to your site, but it contains the majority of the important ones. 9pkVWtu.png

  • Hi Pete! Without knowing quite a bit more, I'm going to have to agree with Peter. I took a look at your account and the site, and I'm not seeing rel="canonical" anywhere on the site. If that is how your Web company initially solved the issue, it looks like it's since been removed. I took a look at the crawl diagnostics CSV, and it looks like a lot of the issue is due to the ecommerce platform itself. This may be difficult to fix, but it also should be extremely harmful. In a lot of cases, though, it looks like there are very minor variations on the same URLs causing them to be picked up as duplicates—for example, a version of a URL with one capital letter is showing up as a duplicate version of the same URL without a capital letter. Rel="canonical" should definitely help with that. Matt

  • Reports are exported as PDF, so you can't edit the text directly. However, there are some tools that allow you to edit PDF files as if they were DOC files, for example NitroPDF (it's not free, but is worth it. And they offer a free trial I think).

  • Hi Paul! I have confirmed with our engineers the free api limit for batched URLs is 50 and 200 for paid access. This will go into effect during our next update next month.
