SEOmoz not showing latest backlinks
Like Chris said about Moz's index not being as large as Google's. If you want Moz to notice the links, tweet them and they should be listed under your just found links in less than an hr.

301 Redirects: How long for Google to recognize? How long for Moz/OSE to recognize?
I had a similar issue with usedcars.com. We had several hundred thousand URLs that were redirecting from parameter driven URLs, to clean hierarchical URLs with a huge initiative to clean them all up in a few months. It took well over a year and still didn't see them getting recognized. I blogged the process - but the part about what I did to speed it up: I grabbed one of my many impulsive purchased domains and quickly set up hosting and an old school html site that consisted of one page. I then exported all of the links on the Google "site:" search through a Firefox plugin called SEOquake that exports the results into a csv file. It's not the prettiest, and there was a lot of work still needed to get to just the URLs, but it was the best solution I could find (note: if any SEO reading this knows of an easier way to do this - please add to the comments for prosperity). I then parsed out the parameters in the URLs in a separate document and used those as the anchor text for each URL. Finally, using excel I then concatenated the URLs and parameters (that were now anchor text) into an html href string. Then copying and pasting the "string" column into the html code, the page looked like: The page wasn't the prettiest, and it had thousands of links (the above is just an example) so it was bad all around, but the point was to get those links crawled by Google. Of course every SEO knows that you can't just build a website and expect it to immediately get crawled - right? So I set it up in Google Webmaster Tools and submitted the page to the the index: I even got more fancy to ensure Google would see the page and crawl all of those old URLs and +1'd it on Google. Did it work? I checked the URLs this evening to see how many Google is seeing and the number has dropped from 550,000 to now only 175. I took the domain off of the server, and now have it parked elsewhere (back where it belongs) and removed the webmaster tools account. All traces of it ever existing are now gone, and the small moment of my attempt to get those URLs removed has passed. It's very black hat - and could potentially get you in trouble if not approached carefully. But - it worked...

Clicking on "Filter" on "Just discovered"tab errors out
Hi, I'm Maura Hubbell. I'm a software engineer and today I'm part of the Mozzer Alliance, helping out the Help Team. I've just clicked "Filter" on the "Just Discovered" tab, and I got several links back. It looks as if the deployment that Keri mentioned fixed this. Thanks for reaching out! Maura Hubbell

I want to do a Keyword Difficulty and SERP Analysis for a core keyword and compare the top 10 ranking pages againt my page. How can I do that? Running a full report? Thanks!
Hi Esteban, You got it! Try running a Full SERP Analysis Report on the keyword. You'll get a snapshot of the SERP, as well as a breakdown of how each ranking page is doing on their rank signals. Feel free to come back here if you're not sure what it's telling you. Matt

Duplicate Home Page
It is very difficult to tell you something if you don't tell us where to find your website. If you could post the url here in the following format: domain (dot) com then we could give you an accurate answer. My first guess is that you haven't set up a proper rel=canonical. In the eyes of a computer the following URL's are all different pages. www.domain.com domain.com www.domain.com/index.html domain.com/index.html www.domain.com?sessionid=1 etcetera... If you're not canonicalizing your pages or redirecting them properly then a computer such as a search engine will see it as different pages with exactly the same content. As i mentioned before, this is just a guess and i can't give a proper answer without knowing the URL of your website. Hope my answer will be useful to you.

My Facebook / Twitter Shares Not Showing Up
Hey Bridget, Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion. The metrics we show for social media shares are URL specific, so we aren't seeing any Facebook or Tweets of the specific URL www.riddelllaw.com and, if you view the top pages section, we show the social shares for the top 25 pages of the site, which also don't have Facebook or Twitter shares. All of the pages we show in OSE include the www in the URL (because the non-www version of the site redirects to the www version). However, I checked specifically the Twitter and Facebook pages for the site and all of the links to the site are shared as the non-www version of the URL: http://screencast.com/t/KMLrwCJHapB Because the www and the non-www pages are considered as different pages, we would not show the shares of the non-www pages when you are looking up the www version of the site in OSE. I hope this information helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions. Chiaryn

Open Site Explorer not reporting all 301 redirected links
MOZ crawler is not so fast as Google bot. It will take time. It usuallt take 30 to 45 days to give the near perfect data. See webmaster tool. its more important than moz.

How can I get a list of all the links going out from my website
OSE and GWT are useful for links in to the website, but not links going out from the website.

What is the difference between a "Just Discovered" link and an "Established" link in OSE?
Hey Gerard, Paddy's right that it can be about 4-8 weeks to see the Just Discovered links show up in the main index, but we also had a delay in this most recent update so the data is not as fresh as it normally would be. Normally, the data in the index is collected for about three weeks prior to the update, while the data for this index is probably closer to 6 weeks. Even so, we began feeding sites and links into the scheduler to be included in the next index well before we start collecting data. This means that, even if we found your links in Just Discovered links 6 or 7 weeks ago, those links might not have made it into the scheduler for this most recent update. They should be in the schedule for our next update, however. I would say that it can be several updates before you see the links from Just Discovered show up as fully established links in the index as a general rule. We are working on a project that will make the index update with much fresher data in the future. I hope this information helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Chiaryn

OSE so slow!!!!
Hey Sophia, Thanks for the question. We actually haven't had any other reports of undue slowness in OSE. It's possible you're seeing a lag due to your connection or machine? As far as making it bigger, we're always working to increase the size and frequency of our indices. It's tough to compare it to a company like Majestic or Ahrefs who's entire business is indexing while OSE is just one part of a much more comprehensive suite of tools. I'm sorry to say it may be a while before we have the sheer volume they have. Thanks, Joel.

Total links
Hi Willy, Thanks for the great question. I think the difference you are seeing is indeed the difference between the amount of internal, external, followed and nofollowed links for a specific page as opposed to for all pages on the root or sub domain together. Your friendly Mozzer

Drastic drop in LRD from OSE report has me confused... Any idea why?
Hi Patrick, My name is Erin, and I'm on the Moz Help Team. Thanks for reaching out! This question is a little tricky, as I can't see any historic page level data from OSE. All I can check is historic domain level data within your campaign. I looked at your historic data in your Competitive Link Metrics, and I didn't see any dramatic change there to reflect this kind of a drop in your LDR's. We are kicking around ideas on better historical databases, but there's nothing set in stone right now. Currently the only data points we have are based on domains in the current index. I apologize that I don't have a more concrete answer for you, but this is the best I've got with the tools available to me. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us at help@moz.com. Happy Friday! Erin
