In "Link Opportunities" is there a way to filter by external follow links that pass equity?
Hi Glenn! Thanks for passing along your feedback. I've sent this further to our product team to see about the likelihood of getting this implemented. Suggestions like these are really helpful in developing new features for our tools, so thank you again Kevin Help Team

Crawling and Links - Showing Links
Hey Radi, The link metrics section of your campaign pulls from our Mozscape index, which updates about once a month. Most new sites and links will be indexed by our spiders and available in Mozscape and Open Site Explorer within 60 days, but some take even longer for a variety of reasons, including the crawl-ability of sites, the amount of inbound links to them, and the depth of pages in subdirectories. Just so you know, here's how we compile our index: We grab the most recent index We take the top 10 billion URLs with the highest MozRank (with a fixed limit on some of the larger domains) We start crawling from the top down until we've crawled 180,000,000,000 pages (which is about 35% the amount in Google's index) Therefore, if the site is not linked to by one of these seed URLs (or one of the URLs linked to by them in the next update), then it won't show up in our index. We update our Mozscape Index every 4-8 weeks. Crawling the entire Internet to look for links takes ~2-4 weeks, but our crawlers are always collecting data. When we need to put the index together, we grab all the data they have collected and start processing, which can take up to 3 weeks to determine which of those links are the most important. Mozscape focuses on a breadth-first approach. This means that we almost always have content from the homepage of websites, externally linked-to pages, and pages higher up in a site's information hierarchy. But deep pages that are buried beneath many layers of navigation are sometimes missed and it may be several index updates until we catch all of these. If our crawlers or data sources are blocked from reaching those URLs, they may not be included in our index (though links that point to those pages will still be available). Finally, the URLs seen by Mozscape must be linked to by other documents on the web, or our index will not include them. I hope this information helps! While the site and links may not be indexed yet, give it some time - maybe we'll see them in OSE next month!

How to interpret a possible spam link?
Hi Giorgio! It's worth noting that Spam Score is correlative—it simply indicates that the page in question has features that we've seen on sites that've been penalized for spam. It's possible that the issue isn't coming from any one like, or type of link. If you haven't, I recommend checking out this Whiteboard Friday and this blog post. Let us know if you still have questions then.

Why is moz telling me I have duplicate content, but neither the content nor the urls are duplicates?
To add to Bryan's advice, I just wanted to clarify how we count things as duplicates. Our tool has a 90% tolerance for duplicate content, which means it will flag any content that has 90% of the same code between pages. This includes all the source code on the page and not just the viewable text, so often it's a matter of finding the best answer for resolving the specific type of pages being marked as duplicates. There are more in-depth explanations of common answers to duplicate content on this page, if you're curious!: https://moz.com/learn/seo/duplicate-content

Checking link quality : help needed
A Spam Score of 1 is nothing to worry about. I think a general rule of thumb is to remove any with a score above 4/5 (may be wrong but I think I read it on MOZ somewhere). Any link that is that easy to obtain is always going to come across slightly spammy. I wouldn't have thought the link will benefit your site hugely given the type of link it is (a comment on a blog/forum) and I wouldn't suggest that as a technique if you're trying to increase your link profile :). But at the same time it doesn't sound like it's going to do you any harm, especially if its just the one.

Just Discovered Links Are Down for ~2-3 Days
I prefer to think that no new links were added to the internet over the last couple of days because people got off their computers and actually spent time with their family and friends. Wishful thinking

How is Moz Page Authority Calculated?
So it sounds like it's intended as a proxy for Google Pagerank.

Error Code 612 with robots.txt 200
Perfect.. sounds like "It is also possible you are blocking bots from accessing the page with the host or via htaccess.." was in the right direction! Cheers, Jake

How can I run a refresh in open site explorer?
Unfortunately you'll have to wait for the next Mozscape update to see the effects of your changes in Open Site Explorer. Next update is scheduled for 9th December.

Drop in Site Links
I'd expect it to be more consistent moving forward, but it will likely never be void of fluctuations. That's just part of the nature of the metric. For an in-depth look at DA, I'd recommend checking out this post: https://moz.com/community/q/what-s-the-story-on-mozscape-updates

DA not working for a domain. Is 1 since June 2015.
Hi there! I agree that something does look funky here. I've never actually seen a site with a Domain Authority of 1 when we seem to have indexed numerous links for the site. There's actually a fresh index update scheduled to roll out quite soon, so I'm interested to see if the update has any effect on the score, as a number of issues with quality have been addressed. If you're not seeing a change after the next index update, then please shoot us a message at help@moz.com to so we can get in touch with our engineers about this issue. Thanks!

Bad idea connecting to Google Analytics?
You do seem really worried about this. Sooooo, to set any fears you have over connecting with Moz aside, I decided to go straight to the horses mouth..... well a helpful support LiveChat agent with the Google Analytics team who then emailed me this answer.... Hi Tim, I hope you are well. Just FYI with regards to third party apps and GA, we allow 3rd party integration with GA API so this should be no problem! Hope this helps! Kate In other words - It is safe to do!

Why does OSE show different link equity for homepage with and without trailing slash?
Hi Dana! This is perfectly accurate

Why isn't OSE showing any of my links?
yeah Majestic and others are picking them all up. OSE just doesn't.

Website rankings, OSE and Backlinks
Okay so you gave me a long winded answer about how OSE doesn't crawl all the backlinks and I should use other link analysis tools, some of which are paid when I choose to go with Moz because of your reporting system and it's tools you guys provide... So there is a possibility my competitor Excel Driving could have a decent linking profile. I'm still baffled how this site which is a pagerank 0 compared to my pagerank 2 site is still doing better with no onpage optimization and just 1 3 star google review. Can you explain how their Google Business listing is ranking better than mine in the search as well?

(301 Redirect) [No Title] ???
Hello, I am having a similar issue with www.bpair.com, which redirects to www.bpgroup.com. The redirect is still working and in place but I am getting the same response (301 Redirect) [No Title] and a spam score of 9. Why is this happening? thanks!

Mozscape Index?
Hi Milan I can't speak for Moz - but I would imagine that because those links have only just been discovered prior to the update, they weren't actually incorporated in the update itself. The index may have updated on the 15th, but the cut off point for URL entries may have been a few days before, possibly before it had discovered your links. I'd be pretty confident that now Mozscape has seen your new links they'll be fully incorporated in the next update. Hope this helps.

Is this site linking to us?
Okay, thanks guys. I really couldn't seem to find it, when I was going through it. I appreciate it. Ruben
