Get up and running with the Moz tools.

  • Hey Veronica, Thanks for the question. I took a look at your campaign and think I see where the confusion about the date comes from. When you look at your Moz Analytics dashboard, it's a weekly display. In your case the week of Oct 21-27. You will see this update with new metrics for the week of Oct 28-Nov 3 today. I hope that clears that up. Cheers, Joel.

  • " you can generate most reports through your old PRO tools at your convenience" Would love to generate some reports if I could find my way there.

  • Hi , We were finally able to submit the Google+ and have it acknowledge a connection. It took multiple tries over several days in varying ways to get it synced and acknowledged but, it's finally in. Many thanks! Rochelle

  • Hi Steffany, I realized that the total number of keywords on the first page of my weekly reports outnumber the total number of keywords because there are three search engines tracking keywords.

  • Hi Margret! You can downgrade anytime after setting up an annual account, however, your card will not be refunded for the full amount and will be applied as a credit on the account. The 20% discount for annual subscriptions can only be applied if you stay the full year. Downgrading will add the difference in the credit amount. Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

  • I just want to add one thing. If you looking at points to determine the validity of someone's insights or SEO knowledge, I wouldn't. For example, I have 160 some odd points, but almost all of those are from me asking questions. Not from me answering them. Whenever someone is kind enough to answer one of the many questions I post, I look at their thumbs ups, thumbs downs and good answers as one factor in how much stock I take in what they say. Best, Ruben

  • Turns out the data was loading, but the Timeframe field was showing a week for which there was no data. When I changed the timeframe I saw data. And now that bogus week is gone from the list. I would have thought there was data for every week for which there is data in GA, but apparently Moz doesn't look back in time to before your Moz account was started.

  • Harika, The Product Support section is specifically for questions regarding Moz Products, including Moz Analytics. To ask questions about your own website and ranking (and not questions specifically about Moz products), you're going to need to take a free trial of Moz Analytics and ask the question in the main Q&A section. We do have a lot of current information about learning SEO available at http://moz.com/learn/seo that can also help.

  • David is spot-on here. You don't need to add any code, but Moz Analytics does work best if you connect it to your existing Google Analytics account.

  • The grading tool is used as a 10,000 foot view of the page.  It analyzes to the webpage to look for the proper usage of exact keyword phrases throughout the webpage.  It is not designed to analyze for synonyms or variations of keywords. If you wanted to score a good grade for the variation you specified, then you would need to through that exact phrase in your Title, etc.  Keep in mind, though, the grading tool is not an indication of great SEO, just an indication that you have used keywords in the locations most highly correlated with positive results.

  • Do you want to extract the same details on all elements as the marketing grader or do you only want the Moz metrics for a domain?
