  • Hi There, Thanks for writing us! Unfortunately, we do not have a way to do a bulk download for the Analyze a Keyword tool just yet. Hopefully we will be able to expand upon this in the future. I will let our product team know about this feedback and if you have any other questions or concerns that I can address in the meantime let me know. Have a great day!

  • Hey Jon! There are only two ways for these URLs to be picked. Relative links in the source code or malformed sitemaps if the <loc>tags are not on the same line as the URL</loc> Incorrect: <loc>www.domain.com</loc> correct: <loc>www.domain.com</loc> If the linking page or referral URL is the sitemap, look in the source for the tags. If they are from another linking page, look for hyperlinks missing http:// the relative link would be Hope this helps!

  • Hello! As a follow up to Donford who gave a relevant answer it could be a variety of things. This could include your hosting provider blocking our crawl as our server from Dallas can reach the site. The other thing may be delayed loads on the page due to the slider. The last thing that could be is if there are any javascript of dynamic redirects happening on this page Roger may turn away. I would first check with your web host to see if they are blocking crawlers or if anything seems odd in your htaccess files. Next check the page for any unwanted or unneeded redirects. Hopefully after these two items are checked you'll be back in action but please let me know if there is anything else we can do from our end.

  • Hello! Index/Follow means that you are allowing search engines to index your pages and follow links through those pages. If you didn't have this tag on the page, search engines would do it anyway. Basically, this meta tag isn't necessarily a bad thing and the search engines would be doing it even if the tag wasn't there. You can use meta robots to do good things for your site, such as stop the crawling of blog archive pages to limit duplicate content. There's tons of resources here on MOZ about the robots file and I would suggest looking into it.  This is a good one: http://moz.com/learn/seo/robotstxt What type of problems is your site having?

  • Hi AlpsKiosks, I want to be sure I'm understanding your question correctly. If you are trying to list a business physically located in Canada, I'm afraid Moz Local is not a good match for you. But, if you're saying that you are trying to list the businesses of your US-based clients, then Moz Local will work for that. As with any citation building strategy (whether manual or automated) it's all about the physical location of the business, and at this time, Moz Local supports US-based businesses solely. Hope this explanation is helpful, but please let me know if you have any further questions about this!

  • Just to clarify, we're parring down in some parts (like this one) and expanding in other parts. It's a give-and-take. FWIW, you can always head to our feature request forum and give your thoughts and the whys around your usage to help our team better understand your needs. We try to think of every case (and if there's another tool out there that can do the same thing), but we don't always hit every one.

  • Thank you for the reply Abe. Perhaps I am not following. The crawl report has distinct columns for Internal Links and External Links per page. According to the description of the report (What's included in my Crawl Test report?): Internal Links    Number of links on a page that point to the same domain as that page. Linking Root Domains    Number of root domains that link to this page. External Links    Number of links on a page that point to a page that is not on the same domain as that page. Referring again to actual pages from the report: Page / Internal Links / Linking Root Domains / External Links http://www.phase1tech.com/Upcoming-Events / 800 / 1 / 0 http://www.phase1tech.com/Contact / 800 / 1 / 0 http://www.phase1tech.com/FLIR-Cameras / 724 / 1 / 0 Is the report incorrect then?

  • Hi there, Sorry for the trouble, but thanks for reaching out! It looks like that URL's server configuration doesn't contain all of the necessary intermediate certificates. You should be able to request these from your hosting service which will hopefully resolve the issue :). For more information on configuration issues you can check your URL with https://sslcheck.globalsign.com/en_US. I hope this helps, and have a wonderful day! Cheers, Jordan Moz Help Team

  • Hi Aiden! Our top level search functions exactly like Google's so if you're familiar with their search operators, you can use them here. We are planning on updating the search function in the near future though so please let us know what you'd like to see in our Feature Request Forum. I'll also pass this along to our Product team on your behalf. Thanks for the feedback and hope you have a great day!

  • Hi Josh! Thanks for reaching out! My name is Erin, and I'm on the Help Team here at Moz. It looks like you've been working with David and Michael on this, and I'm really glad to see that you've brought this question to our awesome community! While we're able to tell you how our site detects duplicate content, advising you on how to implement strategy on your site is a little out of our realm of expertise. I'd have to be a web dev or a consultant to point you in the right direction, and the truth is I was a history major. Sorry we don't have more resources for you on this one! It's my hope that someone here in the community has some insights for you. I'll leave this question as "unanswered" in hopes that someone has some advice. Good luck, and have a wonderful weekend! Erin

  • Anytime! And you should be ok with Google. Our product team is developing a feature to ignore certain parameters in crawl diagnostics so hopefully this will help for most e-commerce sites once it's available.

  • Out of interest, I have stopped using the tool altogether now. I use SEO cockpit for keyword research. I wish I could still be using Moz, but its just so limited there is not point.

  • Thank you very much! I will look at those tools. We used to use KeywordSpy but found the data was getting worse and worse, only to hear from the company that they are no longer able to grab accurate data from Google and did not have an immediate fix for that. This was a few months ago so we have cancelled our subscription. It used to be a great tool though! Thanks again.

  • Thanks a bunch! From your input I was able to clearly see our contact form is in fact setup as a link instead of a button. Appreciate your input greatly.
