On-Page Grader not working?
Why is there a 'Re-Grade Page' button if it does absolutely nothing?

Do exact keyword matches exclude "in", "based" etc?
The Yoast SEO plugin does the same thing. Both it and Moz are intended as a guide only. You have to overlay it with your best judgement.

New video section within keyword research
Hi! It looks like you’re referring to the ‘Universal Results’ panel which shows up on the right hand side of the Keyword Rankings tab here. As you may be aware, this panel shows you if your site is ranking for that keyword in the universal results. Universal results are displayed in SERPs in the form of a pack of images, local results or video results, which is determined by the search engine, in this case Google. So when I search for 'Rank Fishkin' I see this pack of images in the results, here. Ok, back to Moz Analytics, and how you can explore your universal results further In my campaign, screengrabbed here, you’ll see that for the keywords I’m tracking in this report 6 have image results and 1 of those results is for my site! There are no local and no video results in this particular report. You can dig deeper into your universal results by scrolling down to your report and hovering over the camera (for images), places marker (for local), or film camera (for videos). This will show you more information about the results and how your site is performing, this is what is looks like when you hover over the icon. There’s some additional help on the keyword ranking guide (click on ‘More Help’ on the top right) here: https://moz.com/help/guides/search-overview/keyword-rankings I know that you’ve asked specifically about how you can work on your video performance so I’ve also dug up some additional reading. This article gives you 6 tips for optimizing videos with universal results in mind: http://searchengineland.com/2-types-rich-media-seo-plan-cant-ignore-1-big-reason-202536 And here’s another article that goes through Google Universal Results: http://searchengineland.com/google-20-google-universal-search-11232 I hope this helps to clarify! What is Considered Duplicate Content by Crawlers?
Yea I just started working on this site. I haven't used Moz Analytics much so just wanting to see how their crawler crawls pages. And yes I agree, there are a lot of BIG BIG BIG issues with this site. I got a large workload over the next few months haha.

Mozbar SERP overlay stopped working in Firefox
Hello! I apologize for the issues you are experiencing with MozBar in Firefox. Mozilla is not accepting our updates to the tool and may not for a while so we are unable to deploy updates at this time. The Chrome version is the latest one and will be able to provide you with the SERP overlay and more. Hope this helps!

Crawl Test Takes Long Time
In general, Crawl Tests usually take around 24 hours. Part of the length is related to our current load when the crawl is requested, so you could potentially see a bit of a wait associated with sites of only a few pages. In this particular case, it's totally our fault. We had a crawler outage, but as you have probably come to realize, all of the crawls have been re-queued and are in the process of completing right now Cheers!

Puzzled. High domain authority, but low page authority?
Aha, that confirms my earlier thoughts about moz not updating since it moved. Thanks for clarifying!

Is Keyword Difficulty tool algorithm changed ?
As far as I know, our algorithm for keyword difficulty has not been changed in any serious way. However, we did just release a fresh link index update, and since the difficulty is calculated based on a number of different link metrics, the scores that you're seeing could conceivably be differing due to these link metrics having been recalculated. I'm honestly not sure what KC is, so I can't really speak to that, but perhaps someone else can swoop in and cover me on that one

Spam score 9/17 and redirect Question
Wohoo, a response that really touches on everything.. I wish I could give you more thumbs up. Thanks Matt. I did not mean to be so hard on Jordan or you but that never answered my question. I don't have a manual penalty yet but I really dont want to be slapped with one, so I"ve been tip toeing and almost not trying to get noticed by Google. LOL. A 70% chance of getting a penalty can be really scary for someone who dropped a full-time job for a website. Neil dropped a nice post about it yesterday http://www.quicksprout.com/2015/08/05/the-step-by-step-guide-to-fixing-any-google-penalty/. Ive read the links you sent me and will try concentrate on the broader picture. Thanks Matt

SERP Overlay Issue in Firefox
I'm having the same issue. Suddenly all the SERP overlays are missing in search results in Firefox. I cleared cache, History and logins...still didn't fix it. Also I restarted the browser. Chrome is difficult to develop in, so it is not my long term choice. Any idea when this might be fixed?

The Old Moz Pro
Hi Pania, Thanks for writing in. Unfortunately, the old PRO application was deprecated in October of 2014 and it is no longer accessible. We did send out several notifications to people that were using the application prior to the shutdown, so I apologize if you didn't see those. Here is a transitional guide that may be helpful to you: https://moz.com/pro-to-analytics If you can let me know specifically what features were more helpful to you in the old application, I can send them to our product team takes that feedback very seriously. I apologize for the inconvenience this causes! Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Keyword Difficulty tool showing Google search volume or Bing?
Nick - Probably a dumb question but I want to confirm my understanding. I know all search Volume metrics are estimates at best, but .... reporting a search volume from Bing as 100 searches/month is intended to represent actual searches on Bing, right? Assuming Google gets 5-10 times more search volume depending on the keyword, in terms of actual volume a keyword If I see a kw that gets 100 searches on Bing, it might get 500+ on Google (just broadly estimating), correct? Just wanted to confirm that Moz doesn't adjust the Bing volume to account for their lower share of search, and normalize the numbers up to estimate the search volume across all search engines. Thanks! Mike

MozBar > General Attributes > Meta Robots > noindex
You sir are a genius. Thank you very much. Also mad props to the MozBar for picking up on this. Some observations... We've had these noindex tags on there for almost a year and just now Google found them or decided to honor them. We had a recent situation where Google was basically probing our website with fake URLs to see if anything turned up. Source? incorrectly parsed URLs from JavaScript on houzz.com. I think they are making some big changes on how they crawl JavaScript recently. One of these "problem" pages has some links pointing at it with a query string. Nothing changes on the site because of these. Google indexed the page with a query string despite the noindex. Weird. I guess Google does not always honor the noindex directive. One of these "problem" pages would come up when looking up the cached version in Google but could not be found in the index. Odd again. Lesson to me is don't count on the meta robots tag for two reasons ... Google inconsistently implements it It's dangerous as a little bad code can take your whole site out of the index.

Learn how to use MozBar to find local citations. Get your Daily SEO Fix!
It would be nice if there was a setting to turn off the Mozbar for search results. I love using it for diagnosing web pages, but when it tries to load and analyze 100 results on a SERP, it can be rather slow/annoying.

I have 3 domains with deffrent TLD and convert them to .com domaim why spam score show 9/17 for them
The spam score is just MOZ's algorithm based on some known factors, but doesn't mean that your site is actually being seen as spammy by Google. Rand recently explained a little about how it works... Remember that spam score doesn't indicate whether something is necessarily spam in Google's eyes - it just tries to show features that are correlated with things we've seen Google penalize/ban. So, a Spam Score of 9/17 means that we saw ~72% of sites with that many triggers get penalties/bans in Google. But, that also means 28% of sites we saw with 9/17 flags had no penalties. -Andy

MozBar is displaying different numbers than Moz Pro
Howdy! Sorry for the conflicting values! We did just release a fresh index update which is available through the MozBar, but the update would have had a delay before being pushed into campaigns. So, if you were checking the campaigns before that update was published, then the MozBar would have been reporting June 9th data while the campaigns were still reporting data from May 4th. With that being said, I took a look through a handful of your campaigns, and everything seems to be matching up as of now. But, if you're still seeing inconsistencies, then please feel free to write in to us at help@moz.com with a specific example
