  • Hi Tormar, http://mobitest.akamai.com/m/index.cgi I hope this one helps the cause. Thanks, Vijay

  • Hi Joe, When running a scan to find error pages or bad internal linked pages, what type of scan parameters do you use? This could make sense on why I'm seeing these strange 404 error strings, such as http://website.com/ http://www.website.com/cubic-zirconia-1/ Ideas, have you seen this before? run a Screaming Frog scan

  • Hi there - Kristina from Moz's Help Team here. Unfortunately at this time our crawler isn't compatible with Server Name Indication (SNI), which appears to be in use on your site. In general, SNI is a totally acceptable security configuration, but our crawler simply isn't equipped to be able to handle these settings. http://screencast.com/t/G5wpkzmO If you are able to disable the SNI configuration on your site, then we should be able to crawl it normally. While it's something that we'd love to be able to accommodate for the future, we don't yet have the resources to be able to make those changes. I found this thread in our Community Q&A forum with lots of other users running into the same problem, so it's definitely something we're aware of and working to address: https://moz.com/community/q/804-https-ssl-error I apologize for the inconvenience, but I hope this helps to explain!

  • We got your message! What's your question? Ruben

  • It is a loaded question as there are many other more important facets than Title tags. So wary of answering. A site audit is where to start. https://moz.com/blog/technical-site-audit-for-2015 Other factors to consider and monitor carefully include page loading speed, and the combinations of the url and H1's. For example I have seen sites penalized for having the same url, title tag, h1 and the meta description keyword stuffed with the same keyword. All that said title tags are still important though less so but to answer we would need context with what else is happening on site. A quick check tool is website.grader.com  On your specific question of how long until Title tags may impact usually after indexing so 2-7 days. Use fetch for google if wish to make happen sooner. Hope that assists.

  • Personally, I wouldn't try get 'serious value' out of them. If there are just a couple of these domain names, redirect them to your main site. But focus on getting serious value out of your main site instead. If you have great content for ChairtypeA it should be on your ChairtypeA page, not on a micorsite. If you gain inbound links, best they point to your main site pages. Not to microsites. You're diluting the potential of ChairtypeA by spreading its content over 2 sites.

  • Hi there! Generally, no, you shouldn't have to create a new campaign, though that would definitely ensure that everything works properly. David's response here covers it: https://moz.com/community/q/http-to-https-2#reply_323889

  • The fetch as Googlebot function in GWT is definitely your best bet here. Most JavaScript dropdowns I've run into are being indexed properly by Google by now but if your particular JS implementation isn't being executed when fetching as Googlebot, then you'll need to use a solution like prerender.

  • I would say the most important is that you only have 1 link and I always say it like this: you need to be listed where you need to be listed. Local sites, wedding sites, where are your competitors? search their URL in Google or using a tool like Moz and find their links. See what you can easily mimic and expand from there. Content & blogging will come and need to be done - but the "in between times" are great for link building. (Or, hire a wedding/photography link builder and do the blogging/content yourself.)

  • Good advice, Eric! I'll be locking this thread to further responses, though, as this forum is meant to have marketing questions answered, and as an educational resource. It's really not the place to find coupon codes. Have a great day!

  • Hi xeonet32! Did Anthony and/or Peter answer your question? If they did, please mark one or both responses "Good Answer."

  • Redirect 301 /registerlogin-2/ http://everlastingchanges.com/registerlogin-3/ But please - remove "scheduling" from main homepage that doesn't exist anymore.

  • Hi freshs! Thank you for posting in Q&A! I just want to let you know that job listings actually aren't allowed in this forum. I am glad, though, that Peter was able to give you some suggestions, and I'd like to recommend the Inbound.org Job Board as another place to look. I hope you find the consultant you need! At this point, I'm going to lock this thread to further responses. Good luck!

  • Yes, you can create a custom, automated report for that filter. You want to go into Rankings and filter the information. When adding the module to create the report for the rankings section, the button is at the very tippy top.

  • Hi Paddy, Agree on the spam part. Though Pinterest used to have followed links initially. I checked that for one of the company using Moz Open Site Explorer. However it doesn't seem to be the case anymore. All the links now have become no follow. Will research a bit more on this and will keep you posted. Thanks for the help.

  • Definitely a frustrating problem! After taking a look at your site, it might actually be overly optimized for the term "swinger." Specifically, it shows up on your homepage (in the various sections) in the text 122 times. This is an older, but still good WBF from Cyrus talking about over optimization and how it can hurt you. A quick look at your backlink profile for your homepage shows not very links that are followed and aren't on low-quality and potentially spammy directories, as you mentioned. Building quality links back to your site will definitely help. Getting more content built will definitely let you build links a lot better. When it comes to content and social media in the adult space, PornHub is really leading the innovation. They wrote a great article about what they do for our blog. Definitely when it comes to content, part of the problem with your site is that everyone is behind a log-in and thus, behind closed doors for Googlebot. I haven't seen anyone in the swinger space really own content and social; and that could definitely set your company apart. Hope that gives you somewhere to start!

  • Thanks for quoting me in the answer. I didn't realize the original answer was so popular, either. Glad it's one that's easily understood.
