  • Wes, I had a similar problem with getting a fresh ranking report and was told there was a server crash. Some data was lost. I suspect you fell victim as well. I just received an updated report so I'm assuming you will too. HTH.

  • Hi Brian. Your site's analysis is correct. There are issues which need to be addressed. Try entering in the below two URLs http://www.1stclassdriving.co.uk/ http://www.1stclassdriving.co.uk Both URLs bring up the exact same page. When you use the 2nd URL (without the trailing slash), the URL is automatically changed and the trailing slash is added, which is a good thing. Next, try using these two URLs: http://www.1stclassdriving.co.uk/ http://1stclassdriving.co.uk/ Each of the above two URLs brings up your website. These are two different URLs which lead to the same page. This pattern holds true throughout your site. In short, your site is available in duplicate. You can fix this issue by making a change on your server to ensure only one version of your site is available, and redirecting traffic to your chosen version. The first step is to decide which version of your site you want to use, the "www" version or the "non-www" version. Either way is fine, but it is important you make a decision and stay consistent. For the purposes of this discussion, I will assume you prefer the "www" version since that is the style of link you offered in the Q&A. You need to modify a server setting so your decision is enforced. The method of doing this will vary based on your software and server type. If you are unsure how to do this, contact your hosting company and let them know you wish to direct all traffic from the non-www version to the www version. Once these steps have been completed, test them. Try accessing your home page and other pages without using the "www" and make sure the pages are still accessible, and show the "www". The above change will resolve your current duplication title and content issue. You may have further issues, but they wont be visible until the above matter is addressed.

  • Greg, Were you able to figure this out?  I just ran into the same issue and was hoping for a little more insight

  • Agreed - that must be a mistake on our end. Can you send an email to help@seomoz.org with the URLs in question (just a sample of 4 or 5 would help) and we'll figure out the problem. We shouldn't be counting those for any warnings at all!

  • To get a big site indexed and keep it in the index you must link deeply into the site at multiple points with heavy PR.  This forces spiders into the bottom of the site and forces them to chew their way out through other pages. These should be considered permanent links.  If you remove them the spider flow will stop and Google will eventually forget about your pages.

  • Agree with Donnie -- this is a help desk question. Ask over there, and they'll get back to you right away.

  • Could you please send this to help@seomoz.org? They'll get right on that and give you a response that way. I have asked them to pop over here and make a comment if there is a general problem with the API that might affect other people, but the help email is the best way to take care of this. Thanks so much!

  • Hello! You can definitely brand your PDF reports with a Pro Plus account! Just go to your campaign settings and upload an image of your choosing. That image will then be placed at the top of all your PDF reports. Please keep in mind that the small b/w powered by SEOmoz logo located at the very bottom of the PDF report is not removable or changeable. Hope that helps!

  • Hi Kyle, That does sound strange - did you set up www.automation.datalogic.com as a Subdomain (as opposed to a Root Domain - see: http://pro.seomoz.org/campaigns/new) within the Campaign Manager set up?

  • That costs an extra $100 a month! Ouch, that's quite a whopper increase just to be able to use my own logo. I'm sure there are more benefits of the Pro Plus option but I'm already struggling to cover the cost of just a PRO account at $99 at the moment. Would you ever make this option available in PRO?

  • Same... I see "True" or "False" in the first bunch of columns as an indicator of an issue, then many columns along I get the actual URL's.

  • Not at all Marcus, it happens to us all. When managing SEO, we tend to stay super focused on specific stuff

  • Hey Daniel, "yes" and "yes" to the best of my knowledge. They're checking your keyword against the same criteria each time. So, to get a copy of each recommendation that would appear if the criteria wasn't met..... just create a 'test' page and don't put any content on it. And don't run a keyword for it either. Also, I'd recommend checking out this post about how to optimize a page 'perfectly'. Does this help Daniel?

  • That's great to hear Sha. Sometimes it's not so easy to figure out the cause, sometimes it's just knowing where to look. And yes, a 1200 to 1 link to root ratio isn't very healthy at all

  • Yes the keyword rankings tool tracks any URL within your domain for rankings on those keywords all under the same campaign.

  • You can look up the site in the Open Site Explorer to get the information you're asking about. Then you can either compare in your browser or export to cvs for spreadsheet analysis.
