  • Thanks for taking the time to have a look. Not too sure I can do much with the re directs ( except the .com ) as it is a limtation of the company hosting the site. Will try a little more content and link variation too.

  • Does it show up in the rankings tab? There is a crawl report and a rankings report, those are two separate reports. So if the crawl was today, maybe your rankings will be reported on wednesday.

  • Hey Cyrus! Nice to bump into you in Q&A I have to say I actually agree with Adam's view specifically in ensuring that pages have nice relevant page Titles that speak to the user. Even though I may not want a page indexed by a search engine, if users can see it then I should use everything at my disposal to offer good information & encourage conversion. Identifying pages with missing or duplicate information is part of this. The "ignore" feature will just give me the best of both worlds! Sha

  • Oh, and the trailing slash of course - thanks for the reminder! If you think it's a software error you might be best contacting support directly. Have you checked for similar errors in Google and/or Bing Webmaster Tools?

  • Hi Mark! We just had a Linkscape update today, however it looks like there are currently some issues with that data. We're working to resolve the issue now. Please feel free to email help@seomoz.org if you ever have any questions about the site or technical issues. That way we can track it with other support issues as well. Hopefully the fixes we're working on tonight will answer your problem though! Please let me know if you have any additional questions. Thanks! Jen

  • If it's related to an SEOmoz order, you can just email help@seomoz.org and let us know your username and what it is you want to cancel.

  • Hi Mike, The crawl in your PRO campaign is different from Linkscape, and in fact updates each week. I took at look into your campaign and it looks like although the errors have decreased, many of the longer title tag warnings were still there. These warnings are issued any time the <title>tag runs over 70 characters. If you use the <a href="http://www.seomoz.org/seo-toolbar">MozBar</a>, you can use the on-page analysis to automatically verify the number of characters.</p> <p>If you have any questions, feel free to send me a private message if you don't want to share your info publicly. You can also ask a private Q&A question of contact the help team at help@seomoz.org.</p> <p>Best of Luck!</p></title>

  • Ok great I understand it would always be great to connected with as many SEO's as possible. Connections for Guest blogs, link building and so on... A message to members to connect in some way socially was what I had in mind but I wouldn't want to rock the SEO moz boat

  • Hi Samir, Have you opened a ticket with the help desk? That would be the best thing to do right now is email them at help@seomoz.org and let them know what browser you're using, what error message you're seeing (if any), and what IP you're using. Thanks!

  • I kinda knew it would stir the pot after I posted it, but that wasn't my intention. The "Fade" of Facebook, Twitter and at one time MySpace was initially propagated by youths (10-25), while it may not be pre-teens or just teens / youths using them now, I do give them most of the credit for making them the success they are now. This trend isn't unique to social networking; online gaming, cell phone apps, ring tones, all were once not cared about by the older demographics are now starting to become mainstream. Again I wouldn't discount Social Networking as a viable tool for certain markets, I will not concede the point that it is valid for all markets. As for the female comment.. that may have seemed off base, but I was only speaking from my demographic 35-40 year age group. Considering world wide I can certainly see that more males may actually use social networking since large sections of the world do not give female's the same respect and rights as males.

  • The best thing is to wait i think, That will give the best amount of data. BUT! You can try to crawl the site from here: http://pro.seomoz.org/tools/crawl-test You can get some pretty good data there also in a report. It requires a bit of reading in the report and will not give as good an overview as a full crawl, but still you should be able to see if you have managed to fix some issues (depending on what the issues are). The crawl test will crawl 3000 pages for you, instead of the usual 10.000 for a pro account. Best Regards, Rasmus

  • The only concern I have about getting to granular is time. Things like the 80/20 rule come to mind. You don't want to chase down minor details when there are big fish getting away. With that said, there is a lot of traffic involved with plural vs singular keywords. Your time is well spent!
