I agree with Kenny. The cross is difficult to find when you aern't aware of it. AMight I suggest small checkboxes with the word 'delete' inside each.

That would be nice, wouldn't it? Unfortunately, there is no API with the search engines where we send over a keyword and they send us back why the rankings for that keyword changed. Right now, it's manual work. Look at you and your competitors and see have inbound links changed? Have you or your competitors changed content on the pages that were ranking? Added new pages? Consolidated pages? Has there been an algorithm update? and so on.

On page optimisation is important but will only get you so far. OpenSiteExplorer is only showing 18 external links at the moment so I'm afraid you will need to do a lot more linkbuilding to see better results!

So if the site has a structure like this: www.xyz.com/overview and the filter on this page has several options like /?order= , ?brand=, .... I have to rel-canonical them al to www.xyz.com/overview

The 'business' behind the site would affect this a lot, obviously, but if you're more curious about the domain name itself perhaps take a look at http://www.dnforum.com/

Thank for clearing that up Rand.  As I said we are seeing wild gyrations in rankings.   In the 3 years I have been doing SEO for a few sites I have never seen anything like it. Hence my rant about Google the almighty machine and their continued march away from the little guy.  The little guy does not pay the bills or create more billions... I get that. I realize that is a different topic. Thanks for the details on the ranking. Yes I use some of the other tools here on Moz.  I am just trying to understand what the ranking interval was and based on what I saw I thought it was much older.

Hi Jonathan, If you have different URLs, the different campaigns are going to be your only option. If the root domain is the same, you can just track different localized versions of the search engine in each country. For example: If you have 5 campaigns you can have 3 search engines scraped for rankings on each giving you 15 different country rankings. I know that's not 40, but depending on how many campaigns you setup you can reach there. I hope that helps. Cheers, Joel.

You know what I use firefox most of the time but for some reason I had logged in with IE and it doesnt seem to work in IE. I tried it with firefox and it works fine. Thanks

Hello, You can add a crawl delay to your robots.txt file. It would look something like this: User-Agent: rogerbot Crawl-Delay: 5 (time is in seconds between page requests) Hope that helps! Kenny

No it does not get the serps from that location. Mainly because you are not based in that location and therefore Google will still pull the data from your closest data center. According to Google, _the gl parameter boosts search results whose country of origin matches the parameter value _ Therefore, you won't get exactly the same results as if you searched from the location itself.

In your case your site is indexed with www, but is also available without, so I would use this rewrite rule instead, to ensure www is added every time. adds www RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^martinspencephotography.co.uk [NC] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.martinspencephotography.co.uk/$1 [L,R=301]

Ah, I see. If you click the heart-beat type icon next to the keyword, you can see adwords search volume, but you can't see it in a list view right now. Thanks for the suggestion.. Through OSE I found few irrelevant back links to my site and those were linking through black hat SEO practices so I contacted those Webmasters to remove my site link from their site though I don't think links it will work because of incorrect email ids of contact person. Can you suggest me some other ways to disconnect those back links from my site?
