Keyword Self-Cannibalization Message
The self-cannibalization warning is just that - check your internal links. It usually tells you that unless they're exact match links pointing to other pages on your site (or even to other websites) then it may not do you much harm. You may find your navigation in Wordpress has generated internal links to other pages, or the tags system. Without seeing the actual site it's hard to advise, but check these two bit particularly.

Why can't I add my facebook page to SEOMOZ? Also having other facebook issues.
Hi Martin, Have you sent us a note at help@seomoz.org so we can look into it? That'd be the best bet. Thanks! Keri

Open Site Explorer Backlink Numbers Wrong?
Tim is spot on - it's also worth noting that OSE updates around every 30 days, so if you gain a new link just after the update it will take a few weeks to show up. Try Majestic SEO - their backlink checker tool is excellent and works very well in combination with OSE.

Ranking Differs between SEOmoz and Google Webmaster?
You have to bear in mind that rankings fluctuate quite a lot, particularly in certain verticals. I think the GWT rankings are 'averaged' and the SEOMoz ranking is likely to be a snapshot of whenever the tool last checked the rankings. You've also got to consider location, data centers and personalised search - try doing a manual search on Google, making sure you're signed out of any Google account and social media accounts, and adding the parameter &pws=0 to the end of the search URL. You can also try an external tool like seoserp.com. Hope that helps!

Tools In Seo Moz Pro dashboard are pulling stats from another site
If you only just re-added it, probably yes. You just have to wait for the recrawl and analysis. This could be a good thing if your results improve.

<bs>Will someone give me a "thumbs up" so I can become an Authority and get my SEOMOZ T-Shirt?</bs>
HAHA, your remark was funny. All that work for a t-shirt. Yes.... I give a lot of free advice here. I do like guiding people and teaching. Thanks for the "thumbs up". I can't wait to get my mozBot Guru Trophy. (hehe)

This stuff works - but be patient
Ben, i'd love to know how much the On-page versus the Off-page stuff accounted for the rankings boost but can't put an exact value on it. All i know is MozTrust is up, DA is up so am happy for the time being. As soon as the next Index update is done i'll do a before and after Keyword Analysis report to try and get more granular. Personally, i think Directories will become less relevant as Social takes over as a 'vote of trust' but don't think G is killing off the directory business quite yet. Am definitely sticking to quality over quantity for these however.

SEOmoz Keyword Ranking - Does it work for local search?
Hey Bob, bjomer13 pretty much nailed it but let me provide some more clarification. We do need a "Geo Identifier" or specific location in order to provide local results. This is because we are unable to determine where a user will be submitting there search from. For example, I'm in Seattle and if I search for the keyword "pizza" and someone in New York performs that very same search we will both get very different Google Places results. This is because Google is capable of determining the general location that the person is searching from based on their IP address. If we were both perform a search for "Seattle Pizza" though we would get pretty much the same Google Places results for pizza places in the Seattle area. These results will be quite similar to the results I would get if I just searched for "pizza" because Google knows that I am in Seattle. For rankings you will be provided with a number that the keyword ranks for if it is in the top 50 organic search results and you will have an icon if universal (Google Places) results appear in the SERP for that keyword. If your site is in the local results then you will have tick marks on top of the universal results icon indicating you are indeed in those results. To learn more about rankings check out our help documentation here: http://www.seomoz.org/help/rankings Hope that helps! Kenny

How can I change the day my keyword rankings are updated?
Hey Richard, There is no way to update the date yoru rankings are run. Sorry about that! It will go off of the day you create the campaign. So like Todd said you can create the campaign on the day of the week you would like to receive ranking updates.

Why is my traffic data not showing any scores at all?
Hi John, Sorry about the issue with your traffic. Since this is more of a Help question, I am going to migrate this over to our ZenDesk ticket system and answer you there. You should receive an email that you can use to access the help ticket right away. The Q&A forum is usually reserved for SEO questions, not questions about trouble shooting our software. That's what the Help Team is here for! :] Thanks, Chiaryn

How to remove Duplicate content due to url parameters from SEOMoz Crawl Diagnostics
Hi Tom It took a while but I got there in the end. I was using joomla 1.5 and I downloaded a component called "tag meta" which allows you to insert tags including the canonical tag on specific urls or more importantly urls which begin in a certain way. Now how you use it depends on how your sef urls are set up or what sef component you are using but you can put a canonical tag on every url in a section that has view-all-products in it. So in one of my examples I put a canonical tag pointing to /maternity-tops.html (my main category page for that section) on every url that began with /maternity-tops/view-all-products I hope this if of help to you. It takes a bit of playing around with but it worked for me. The component also has fairly good documentation. Regards Damien

How do I fix my errors
We all started out not knowing what a meta tag is, or how important a good title tag is. This website is a great place to learn and study & become knowledgeable in SEO. The Get started guides are a great place to start. http://www.seomoz.org/help/campaign-setup http://www.seomoz.org/help/crawl-diagnostics Your Meta data tags are little pieces of code that tell the search engines about your site, sort of like an intro. Your Meta Title tags are the titles of your site. W3Schools also are a great web resource. http://www.w3schools.com/tags/tag_meta.asp What I suggest is to take ONE page of your site that is NOT your home page (just in case you break it) & use that as a sort of testing page, change your titles, meta tags, h1 tags, ad images add more text run an on page keyword report... just learning from one page will teach you how to adjust all your other pages.

What's Happened To OSE's External Links For My Site?
If there don't seem to be links to other pages either, could it occur when links are in a different format, e.g. http://countymotorworks.co.uk http://countymotorworks.co.uk/ http://www.countymotorworks.co.uk Thanks for bearing with me!!
