Check Google's Webmaster Tools for the website. Go to Health > Crawl Errors ..then click on the "Not found" box to display the list of URLs that are returning 404s or 410s.  Now click on any of the 404 URLs and a pop-up box will appear with three tabs. Under the "Linked to" tab, they usually indicate how they found that URL (whether from internal or external pages). It sometimes lags with the updating though.

I can't agree with Anirban's suggestion. A 301 redirect would be the superior solution.

This is Megan from the SEOmoz Help Team.  Unfortunately, our API doesn't provide any social data.  Sorry about that!  All the data we currently provide for social metrics is from 3rd party APIs.  Here's what we use: Facebook data is from Facebook Query Language (FQL) Google Plus and Buzz data is from Google API to Buzz. Hi Irving! Thank you so much for the informative reply. I was told that the sites were redirected with a 301, but apparently not, and I am checking with our provider again. I do have thress questions if you have the time. If I don't have a 301 redirect set up and have another kind, should I get a message in the Temp Redirect section of the SEO Moz crawl report? 2. If we do a 301, will that get rid of these duplicate page content and duplicate title content errors?  3. Do you have your site set up with a non-www redirect to www and have you avoided thes errors?  Thanks so much!!

Keri, it was an assumption. Most SAAS do allow white labeling on the smallest paid plan.

Hey there, Rogerbot doesn't look for rel alts. The bot will follow meta robots, rel canonical (more used way to controlling duplicate content) and 301 redirects. Sorry about the confusion. Best, Nick
