Are there any proven SEO benefits of presence and popularity on Facebook, just as there is supposedly benefit from Google+?
Thanks for your answer, Joel. I think the order of priority you've suggested for B2B marketing through social media seems very logical. If there is anything more definitive/tangible about the influence of social sharing/ interaction on organic search results that you could point me to, it would be very valuable. It always helps to show some clients hard data/ case studies! Thanks again.

Can Twitter really help your Google Rankings??
I'd highly recommend not using Twitter solely for higher rankings. Twitter helps you with brand management, customer service, community management, etc. If you're only using Twitter to try to game Google, you're probably going about it the wrong way. I'd focus on managing your Twitter account in a way that will benefit you as part of your overall marketing strategy.

Social Media Signals with AddThis?
Hi James, Thank you very much for that article you linked to, I didn't even notice that it was actually doing that. What we did now is just get rid of that orange "share" button as a whole, and only keep the Twitter/FB and G+ ones (that don't link back to AddThis). Thanks for your help!

Author Tag on Blogger - What am I Doing Wrong?!
Hi Jane, It appears that the correct authors are now appearing in the SERPs. All I did was make sure that each blogger was listed as a contributor and for each post I simply added "Written by Author Name - Author Name Google+". I linked the "Author Name Google +" to the respective G+ account and from the G+ account back to the blog under the 'Contributor To' field. Anyway, all seems to be working now - just thought I'd reply in case anyone needs help in the future! Many thanks, Brad

How to Start a Social Networking Site
Sounds EPIC! but in my opinion you at least have to share your niche and goals to answer your goals... because: There are pre made codes for social networking sites already available... are you going to go with that and alter as per your requirements... What special feature are you going to make public.. Will it be mobile friendly? these are few questions.. and on basis of that one will be able to answer about the total players in the team what should be their skill set and all!

Social book marking
Social Bookmarking is like getting a vote of confidence by individuals. Search engines are in the business of providing relevant and popular results to their users. Hence if you receive a lot of likes on Facebook, twitter mentions, interest pins, Digg posts, Stumple Upon posts, delicious, of course Google + shares and likes and the other million other options out there, the search engines will recognize this and rank you higher. The world of SEO now includes Social Media as part of the overall formula. Especially Google+

You have a limited budget of $2,000 (US). Do you buy links or create / seed content?
If you're not providing at least some of both of those services for your potential client you will be doing ineffective SEO and somewhat of a disservice to them. The link building efforts should support quality content. It will help with the dissemination. To me spending all your money on content would be like buying a car but not spending any money on gas.

Social channels, tools sites for promoting a blog or article
In addition to everything that Anthony said (AKA, build relationships) you can also promote the blog article through writing other guest blog articles. I know this is going to take a lot of work, but that's what inbound marketers are good at... Hustle. Find someone who will let you write a guest post for their site, and then fiind a way to organiclly mention your blog article in the middle of your guest post. This will help your first blog article rank higher in SERPS, and it will send more refferal traffic to your blog. Good luck.

For better SEO I understand I should be using Google+, but under what identity?
Be transparent, be yourself, and gain influence. Otherwise, suck at everything.

Whats the best way to optimise a wordpress website for SEO?
Hi I was planning to carry out all the normal processes of SEO to the site such as KW research, on-page content, header titles, competitor analyses, off page factors etc, I am just concerned by using the Wordpress admin CMS that it is encapsulating the normal seo elements such as page title, description, page names- friendly urls and was looking for any modules that provide direct access to these areas from within the admin panel rather than letting wordpress manage them . I have looked at Yoast and felt that would provide what I am looking for, I am interested in the overall use of Wordpress and SEO considerations as a whole? The trade off for having a user control panel to create the website - like the effects on navigation links, Javascript code encapsulation? thanks for your advice
