  • We use LinkedIn predominantly in the B2B space and find it is a great way to engage i industry discussions and also personal and company branding. For B2B social marketing my personal vote is LinkedIn #1!

  • Hi Anthony, This is a common rate among other Twitter and Facebook tools. I believe the formula for FollowerWonk is as follows: Engagement Rate = # Of Replies + Retweets / # of followers x 100 So in a day you have 10 replies and 5 retweets = 15. Divide that by the number of followers times by 100. Then that's your percentage. • Hi David, I apologize for any confusion you are running into with our tools. Followerwonk is a separate tool which is why you are being redirected back to followerwonk.com. You should see your login name on the top right corner, if not, click on the link your moz and twitter accounts. You will have to re-authenticate your twitter account each time you return to the page. Hope that helps! David Lee Moz Help Team

  • Pinterest cannot be ignored, its a very valuable platform for brands, business and eCommerce! This platform reaches a wide range of users. Boards can be made to suit everyone’s likes and needs, appealing to users with a wide variety of interests. Its so simple, the more pins a website has, the more traffic it receives. As a pin starts to go viral, the original website receives more and more traffic. More businesses and marketers need to pay attention to the new opportunities on Pinterest!

  • Thanks for the answer!  I guess it depends on what a ton of money is... do you think $5K/mo is enough to qualify?  I'll submit the form and find out! edit: If you've spent >$500 through their self-service platform in the last 30 days, you don't qualify for their 30-day starter program, where you'll get Facebook reps for 30 days.  The guy on the phone also explained to me that the shorter vanity URL process is above his pay grade, and there's nothing he can do to help me and no one he could get me in touch with.  Oh well!

  • yes you can. Log in as the business and add communities to participate in. If you look at my example above you can see that we post in the star wars community allot. For us it's fun getting to be creative with others who have the same interests.

  • We just redesigned our site. We just did a Parallax Site with onsite optimization. It also has CSS3, and responsive design. It is still in Beta. It is also Wordpress and it has Yoast http://www.posicionamientowebenbuscadores.com/ This article is in spanish but I will be posting it in Youmoz in English very soon. The graphics help http://www.posicionamientowebenbuscadores.com/blog/seo-parallax/ It is not optimized for IE (Internet Explorer). You must use Chrome or Firefox to see it. You will be redirected to our old site if you use Explorer Thanks Carla PS. I forgot to mention that it has some schemas too.

  • 1. I don't have problem with bitly but i just wondering how google refer to those links that direct to site 1 (bitly) and redirect to my own site? bitly links redirect using a 301 header. This does differ from one service to another, so it is always good to check via a page like this:  http://www.webconfs.com/http-header-check.php  (just paste in your shortened link and look for the HTTP response) Using a 301 means that and PageRank is passed along that link to the final destination page. 2. There is any way to track those link throughout google analytics ? Yes.  If the links are pointing to your site then add analytics campaign tracking variables to them and you'll get lots of additional data.  This tool helps: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/1033867?hl=en 3. Do you have any idea were can looking for the script mentioned above? I can't stress this enough: I have not used this script. However a quick search for [short url script] turned this up.  http://yourls.org/  I suspect that there are many others though.

  • Don't forget about Pinterest as that is all about pictures and funny pictures are actually the most shared pictures on Pinterest. I'm sure that people will pick up on your website if your pictures get shared often enough.

  • Unfortunately, as far as I'm aware - there is no way to fix this. Google have started to move YouTube towards having a Google+ integration and this really hasn't been kept simple for those with a "corporate account" who don't want to tie the channel to a specific email or person. one assumes they will eventually provide a way for you to fix this, but it may involve changing to a paid YouTube account of some sorts better aligned with a business than an individual. So, sorry, no I don't think you can fix it - but I feel your pain!

  • If you are trying to find active and influential people on twitter and other social media. You could try to follow those that have a high ranking and have certain keywords in their BIO. This way you can follow people more easy. Socialbro has this feature. and some of the other follow people on twitter services

  • Hello Don, I saw the title="follow us on Facebook" tag within the code of a rel publisher link on one of those sites. I don't remember which though. Just open source view, search for rel="publisher" and double check the href title attributes on each site. I could be wrong, but am pretty sure I saw it that way.
