Help! The website ranks fine but one of my web pages simply won't rank on Google!!!
Don't forget that every keyword is different - how you rank depends on what you're doing compared to other sites targeting that term, not just what you're doing on your own site. So some keywords just take a larger, higher-authority link profile to rank for than others. A good place to start with getting links for that page would be to look at the backlinks that other pages that rank for that term have - you may be able to get some links from the same or similar sites.

Microsite Subfolder URL vs Redirected TLD for best SEO
Thanks so much for taking the time to help! I really appreciate it!

Why is our pagerank is still only 3/10?
The pagerank won't update. What you have now is what you'll have (probably forever). Good thing is that pagerank doesn't count. Your low DA/PA is due to the few links or low quality links you may have. If you want to increase it, you'll need more links (from high PA pages of course).

Magento Store Using Z-Blocks - Impact on SEO?
Hi Carl, Google will be seeing the non logged in version of whatever content you provide when it crawls the site so as long as whatever that content is is consistent with your SEO aims then there is no negative impact. If you are worried about google thinking you are hiding content in some sneaky way for example - this is not an issue since google will be seeing the standard non logged in content consistently.

When does it make sense to make a meta description longer than what's considered best practice?
I believe that this is going to be such a tiny tiny benefit that it might move you up from position 998 to 997, but if you are in the top 30 positions in the SERPs it will have zero impact. It is also possible that the longer your description, the smaller the impact on any keyword. I would invest my time in short, hot descriptions that elicit clicks.

2 menus Responsive website Seo question
In general, you should expect Google to look at your desktop pages when it's calculating PageRank, link juice flow, etc., NOT your mobile menu. So if there are links to your category pages in ONLY your mobile menu and not your desktop, then your category pages won't rank as well as they should.

Need to change 1 million page URLs
" Launched in 2003, back then it wasn't such a bad idea to use keywords/tags in the URLs, so I did that." - it's not necessarily a bad idea now - I'd question why you feel the need to change them? Shorter is often better though. If you do go ahead, 301 would be the best practice. Canonicals pass link juice too but they're not always honoured. A couple of extra things - make sure to update all of your internal links to the new URLs as millions of 301s could negatively impact the speed of your server. And check a sample of the old URLs just to make sure everything is working as expected.

Is link juice passed through a 301 and a canonical tag?
Since this message is from 2012 ... and the initial question is similar to mine, I hope it is ok to pick it up again in combination with subfolder searchresults on mobile. We are moving a website from Shoptrader to Magento, which has 45.000 indexations … yes shoptrader made a bit of a mess. Trying to clean it up now. there is a 301 redirect list of all old URL's pointing to the new one product can exist in multiple categories - want to solve this with canonical url’s but mostly redirecting from category/productname to category/category/productname Her comes the problem: New developer insists on using /productname as canonical instead of /category/category/productname … since Magento says so. The idea is now to redirect to /category/category/productname and there will be a canonical URL on these pages pointing to /productname, loosing some link juice twice. So in the end indexation will take place on /productname … if Google picks it up the 301 + canonical. My preference would be to point to one URL with categories attached ... since Mobile searchresults nowadays shows subfolders as well ... making it possible to show more than one result of your site. right? What would you say?

Moz knows very well, it may affect bad moz itself. So, Moz has already been using nofollowed tag in all such external sources link to get rid of such fear. as above Keri said

Why are "noindex" pages access denied errors in GWT and should I worry about it?
I am a little surprised, because having those pages as "noindex, follow" should not bring GWT to flag them as errors. Monica is correct in addressing google flag anything than 200 as errors, but... Your page with "noindex, follow" should return a HTTP code of 200. If it is returning anything else, it's probably wrong, and you should analyze why is doing it. My religion has a law saying that GWT should return no errors, point. I have also witnessed few times a correlation between lowering GWT errors count to 0 and an improve in SERP ranking; but I have no proof one is causing the other.

2015 Disavow Links on Bing?
Bing is unsteady, I don't recommend taking any action for bing until you have a serious problem with such as no indexing for a week.

I am being black hat SEO'd by another company. What should I do?
Disavow those bad links and seek to increase the number of good reputable links you have. I checked out the url, you have a great looking site! I bet you could relatively easily get some influential health food bloggers or magazine editors to write about your products. Food's relatively easy to get links for because you can send out 1000s of samples to influencers at a very tiny cost. This is a time honored PR method that still applies in the digital age. If people like the food and the message, they will many times write about it. I'd suggest approaching those types of influencers, telling them the story of your brand and potentially sampling them. If they like your product, chances are they will write about it and you might get some great backlinks out of it. Key is you cannot pay for those links, they must be freely given because the editor/blogger/writer likes your product and/or brand. Best of luck!

What can Google tell about a website from Chrome or its toolbar?
Danny Dover wrote a nice post about this back in 2008, but it still applies today and is a great read here: http://moz.com/blog/the-evil-side-of-google-exploring-googles-user-data-collection The list is almost mind boggling when you add it all up... especially if you consider the different facets of Google that might not necessarily share data, but certainly could: things like Google+, Adwords, Doubleclick, Registrar Data, Server logs, mobile, Google Accounts, Gmail, Chrome, Android, and so on.. I don't want to spoil Danny's report though, it's still a great read on perspective, even after 7 years. Cheers!
